Lawnscaping Layers & Dimension

Good morning all! How's your weekend? I spent mine making cards (of course) and watching Rio. I love it. I thought it was a pretty good animation. Love how cute the birdies are. I think they would make great image for stamp. :)

And, I also get to meet up with Trinh again. I love it every time I get to see her again. We had a lovely time chit-chatting over brunch. Thank you, Trinh & Elisa for squeezing in time to spend some time with me.

Now, let's talk about card. First, I was delighted that my card was spotlighted last Friday at Lawn Fawn blog HERE. So, excited. And, today I have another card to show my love of Lawn Fawn. It's time for a new Lawnscaping challenge. This time it's all about layers and dimension sponsored by the generous Simon Says Stamp. Our October guest designer is the fabulous Laurie Wilson.

For my card, to create the dimension, I curled the trunk and add it to the card using pop-dots. Same with the owl.

Challenges:
CAS Sunday Challenge - Anything Goes
Copic Creations - Saturated Colors

The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday "Simply You" set. I just love the way this card turn out. I hope you will join us on this fun challenge and don't forget to check out the fabulous samples that the DT gals created for this challenge.

Have a fabulous week everyone!
