May Arts & Graphic 45

** For Some Odd Girl new release post, please scroll down. **

Hello and welcome to May Arts and Graphic 45 blog hop!! In case you missed it, May Arts and Graphic45 is doing a blog hop for this whole week and you could win some fabulous goodies.

And, today is my day for the hop! You know, honestly this is my first time playing with Graphic 45 and at first, I was a bit worried. Most of you who's been following me for awhile,  you know vintage is definitely not my style.

But, low and behold, I created a set of Christmas cards and they're all vintage looking!!! Aaannndd....  I love them! The papers coordinated beautifully and make it a breeze to create these cards. On top of that, their papers works awesome with my Silhouette. No need for double cut at all. I tried this for some cards that I made for submission and I am now hooked on Graphic45.

For all the cards I used Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium set. They're gorgeous!!

For this first card, I used May Arts 1/4" silk ribbon (SK26). The silk ribbon is definitely my favorite. They're so silky and easy to work with. The music scores all come from 1 sheet of patterned paper. Is that a good deal, or what? This set goes a long way!!

This second card is using May Arts sheer twinkle ribbon CT16. One of the sheet of paper has a bunch of tags that you could cut apart and I fussy cut one of the Santa. The greeting image below came from the same sheet.

Now, this card.... I {heart}. I think this card is my favorite. Simple and May Art silk ribbon (SK16) compliment the greetings perfectly. Less is more is definitely a do for this card, don't you think?

And,  this last card totally capture children's joy on Christmas. Somehow it reminds me of our Christmas when we were growing up, where my cousins would come over and celebrate Christmas with us! On this card I simply adhere the ribbon behind the image panel.

So, what do you think of my venture to the vintage side? Yay, nay? Kind of fun pushing myself outside my comfort zone. :)

Now, you ready to hop? Today's hop include:
