Somebunny Appreciates You

Hi peeps! We have new color challenge for you to try. Are you ready?

Here's my card utilizing all 4 colors in a row just like shown on  the banner. :)

This sweet bunny totally helped me in making through this challenge. I found this color combo quite challenging. So, are you u p for the challenge? Check out what the team has created for this color challenge at MFT Challenge Blog.

Now, since I am all into sweetness, I decided to make an extra card just for fun featuring another Birdie Brown set.

The plaid patterned paper made such a sweet background, don't you think? Every time I make any card with the word sunshine, I think of my niece. Our family always refer to her as our sunshine. :)

Well, that's all from me today. Have a blessed day, everyone!

MFT Sketch 243

Hi peeps! Time for new sketch challenge from My Favorite Things.

I stick to the sketch pretty much, with a dash of fun added. The bird is sitting on a flap window!

Here's a look from the side showing the "Miss You" message underneath the flap. Gotta love this interactive window flap. It added extra oomph without the bulk.

Hope you'll play along. Check out MFT Challenge Blog for more inspiration from the team.

Warm Wishes & Sunny Smile

Yesterday afternoon, we had what I consider a nice summer afternoon. It's still hot, but not to OMG or WTH level. It was nice enough that I actually sat outside with the doggies for a bit and trying to capture good pictures of them.

Yeah, I don't have enough pictures of my fur babies. Hah!

Anyway, I want to share this card that totally appropriate for summer.

I've been way too obsess with the Birds of Paradise stamp lately, that I need to remind myself to play with other set. So, here comes the penguin to the rescue.

Meanwhile, on the Yates household, we're trying our hardest not to become a foster failure. Our current foster, Clyde is so adorable and every time I think of what hard time he might have faced on the street before, I can help loving on this boy.

If you'rein Houston area and thinking of adopting a pug, please check out Pughearts Rescue of Houston. They're amazing rescue group that I am proud to support and be a part of.

Well, that's all from me today. See you all later!

Warm Wishes & Sunny Smiles

This is my 2nd post for today. For SugarPea Designs Summertime Sweetness challenge please scroll down.

We have another fun sketch from My Favorite Things that we hope will inspire your creativity.

And, here's my interpretation of the sketch. I flip the sketch to horizontal and instead of oval, I used this fun hut as the main shape. After all, no one say it has to be oval. The oval can easily be replace with other shape that caught your fancy. :)

I love this hut so much! The thatch roof added such fun texture to what might have been a flat & boring card.

And, continuing with the paradise theme, just for fun, I made this mini card featuring one of the bird from Polynesian Paradise set. I love the happy colors on this card.

Well, I hope you will play along with our challenge. Can't wait to see your creation. Check out MFT Challenge Blog for more fun inspiration from the team.

SPD Summertime Sweetness

Oh goodness, I don't know how hot it is on your neck of the wood, but on my side, it's been hot, hot, hot! Basically, it never a good sign when the weather forecast use the word "scorching hot" to describe the weather temp for the day.

Anyway, hot weather means more time indoors. And, while hiding indoors this past weekend, I decided to play along with SPD Summertime Sweetness challenge and made this super sweet card.

How cute is that? A happy penguin with a kiss mark on the cheek? Please join us on this fun & easy challenge and of course, there's prize involve. Check out SugarPea Designs blog for all the challenge & prize detail.

Polar Bear Christmas

What?? Christmas card already? I know, I know, it's still way early. But, I am always behind in doing my Christmas card, so I need all the cards I can get done early. Besides, don't forget that I am doing Caring Hearts Card Drive every year, so I always need Christmas cards. :)

For today's post, I am playing with Crafter's Companion Moonbeam Meadow Magical Star set. I love this set from the first moment I saw it. I love polar bear and this set feature such a cute momma bad baby polar bear.

Crafter's Companion supplies: Moonbeam Meadow Magical Star, Spectrum
Noir: BG1, CG1, CG3, CT2, DG2, DR1, FS6, IB1, TB1

This card would be perfect for mass production. There's not much coloring needed to make this image stands out.

That's all from me today, folks!

With Heartfelt Thanks

Hi peeps. How's your Sunday going? Hope you have a good one.

As for us, I am excited to share that we finally get to step in and have a more active role in rescue activity. On Friday, we picked up our first foster from Pughearts Rescue of Houston. He's a boy name Clyde, about 6-7 years old. He adapts to our household pretty quick. He's also pretty well behaved.

Eli and Abby still not quite sure what to think of him. They definitely need some assurance from us that they're still our number one. So, if you know anyone, who is looking to adopt a pug, let me know.

Now, let's get on to card. I played with this older set from SugarPea Designs, called Foxy Friends, that needing some dusting off. Older set need love, too, right?

This fox always make me smile with its happy grin. By the way, the SPD current sketch challenge is till on. Check out the sketch HERE and come play along. You could win a $15 GC to the SPD store.

Enjoy your Sunday!
