Watercolor Sketch Lotus

Hi peeps! I am excited to share today's card as this was among my rare attempt at no line watercoloring. Hah!

I received this gorgeous Simon Says Stamp Sketch Lotus Flowers & let just say I was so happy when I got it as it is right up my alley. This set is part of the new Friendly Frolic release from Simon Says Stamp that's available starting today.

I stamped the flowers repeatedly using distress ink Antique Linen and then watercolor it. I kind of dig the hard transition between the colors, so on purpose I decided  not to dilute them more to soften the line. Maybe that's not the right way, but hey, that's the fun part of creating, right? Just play & have fun.

Am also entering this card to Simon Says Stamp July Work It Wednesday which is all about watercolor and to SSS Wednesday Anything Goes challenge. I have another card made using this set, which I will share tomorrow. So, stay tune... Cheers....

I'm with you, I really like the hard transition of colors. It's really cool looking and gives watercolor a totally different look. I can't wait to try it, thanks for the inspiration!

Vera, beautiful colours you have used. I am getting more and more into colouring my projects now but haven't done any no-line colouring as yet must give that a go soon. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters.:P) xx
