Happy March. I want to pop in today to share my <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fstitching%2Ddie%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%2Dmembership&afftrack=">Spellbinders' March Stitching Die Club </a>card. Spellbinders has lots of kits to choose from, so you have plenty of options. This month's stitched die kit is beautiful and can be used for so many occasions. From birthday to just thinking of you or on my case I think this be great for my niece who's been studying hard to pass her exams and I just want to let her know I am proud of her.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgg4MzFaivwC7VBIX42gCvBLERGRdv8G9l1-_vjSegPeCbU2xVDDQTEqF3RpNGlPllufiF0dlw9Tn9PinCbj9fv4oHMeSojFjHsINnNpfte2AcurCuv7hfx8dIxG9td2Tqga6Gmp-vPW1sZaiGBUGbi79kNzTT0u2oGPSVeFphadUxPM-Z1iWLYuMJAbo/s1800/IMG5064.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgg4MzFaivwC7VBIX42gCvBLERGRdv8G9l1-_vjSegPeCbU2xVDDQTEqF3RpNGlPllufiF0dlw9Tn9PinCbj9fv4oHMeSojFjHsINnNpfte2AcurCuv7hfx8dIxG9td2Tqga6Gmp-vPW1sZaiGBUGbi79kNzTT0u2oGPSVeFphadUxPM-Z1iWLYuMJAbo/w640-h640/IMG5064.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><div>As a book lover myself, this set reminds me so much of the beauty of real books. Not the digital kind. I love digital book, but there's something about touching those pages. Anyway this card is pretty straight forward. Die cut the pieces, add the stitching and then simply arrange all the pieces. Finish with sentiment from <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fbetterpress%2Dletterpress%2Dcollections%2Fproducts%2Falways%2Dand%2Dforever%2Dsentiment%2Dstrips%2Dpress%2Dplate%2Ddie%2Dset%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dbetterpress%2Dcollection&afftrack=">Always and Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate</a>.</div><div><br /></div><div>And, I chose the dark background to make the pastel colors of the book, the teacup and the flowers popped. I hope you enjoy today's inspiration and as always may something good happen to you today that make you smile and fill you heart with gratitude.</div>Vera Yates (Ling)http://www.blogger.com/profile/10444084419025494780noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145490486929629787.post-71180993823959338812024-03-06T14:19:00.003-06:002024-03-06T14:19:45.692-06:00Spellbinders Weekender Craft Kit<p>Hi all. When I saw these monsters from Spellbinders, I knew I need to have them. I mean they're ridiculously cute! Here are some of the cards I made. The first 2 cards are using the <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fjanuary%2D2024%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fdancin%2Dbirthday%2Dmonster%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dmonster%2Dbirthday%2Dcollection&afftrack=" target="_blank">Dancin' Birthday Monster Etched Dies</a> set.<br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmpjWEoDr5xxotgtu2Gk-8TtBiEmmhw1Fc2Xx_s2c_A-_IknWIHT3ox7x7xtohyIQj-Ci2HtXcUd3dyf1eTj0geHfZXGWOPt-qf4a4-o8Ridbt_2QfbjW2jYMIPyVhW0iD21yk16sI-iVH_APYhPxji3c9zpd7KEcs50ML9IXwGyFkf6fbuGhu9flJ62Y/s2410/IMG5053.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2410" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmpjWEoDr5xxotgtu2Gk-8TtBiEmmhw1Fc2Xx_s2c_A-_IknWIHT3ox7x7xtohyIQj-Ci2HtXcUd3dyf1eTj0geHfZXGWOPt-qf4a4-o8Ridbt_2QfbjW2jYMIPyVhW0iD21yk16sI-iVH_APYhPxji3c9zpd7KEcs50ML9IXwGyFkf6fbuGhu9flJ62Y/w638-h640/IMG5053.jpg" width="638" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>And, the best part? Their legs can swing side to side. There's little opening on top of the legs where I can put a small piece of foam adhesive (which hidden behind the monster body) and since there's no adhesive on the leg, the legs can move freely around the foam adhesive.<br /><br /><div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEip2zJDx8CZFA7CjiBOyKeLzHulFijHVsSexCD2Swx9znsGgR-uoI52CQ6ys0hLo1iOXV5Y-8IyYpGae7HqizTasAucWYAefGO_-Car7-6VMKC5h0RvoOkoW9FRaVOrCHnOqcc14vbM0sMRL114PiuyEaXBnMDRQNnS-0mR8sOS3KsWlbhqvszLy2Q9Reg/s2400/IMG5054.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEip2zJDx8CZFA7CjiBOyKeLzHulFijHVsSexCD2Swx9znsGgR-uoI52CQ6ys0hLo1iOXV5Y-8IyYpGae7HqizTasAucWYAefGO_-Car7-6VMKC5h0RvoOkoW9FRaVOrCHnOqcc14vbM0sMRL114PiuyEaXBnMDRQNnS-0mR8sOS3KsWlbhqvszLy2Q9Reg/w640-h640/IMG5054.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>I just love how they're turned out. I am popping in today to share this card I made using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Ffebruary%2D2024%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fqueen%2Dannes%2Dlace%2Dand%2Dladybugs%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dthrough%2Dthe%2Darbor%2Dgarden%2Dcollection%2Dby%2Dsusan%2Dtierney%2Dcockburn&afftrack=" target="_blank">Spellbinders Queen Anne's Lace & Ladybugs Etched die set</a>.<br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcIabCFXbGKNIDKYVUV3gggx7lLMwOiamqOBy6GJWjnUQKbB6zN1PDT6oJL8eXJGG8jqM0YoTchnewclxbpuMiJ9rJvhfU6eEkE81Hxx6qsAhfNhNcufUTZ7QnsrmC3mHgg7h_BOjx0MWo55YpM3qlatbepp9KmVZtT4uyWxr72A-mz2su3oNM063qCJQ/s2400/IMG5059.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcIabCFXbGKNIDKYVUV3gggx7lLMwOiamqOBy6GJWjnUQKbB6zN1PDT6oJL8eXJGG8jqM0YoTchnewclxbpuMiJ9rJvhfU6eEkE81Hxx6qsAhfNhNcufUTZ7QnsrmC3mHgg7h_BOjx0MWo55YpM3qlatbepp9KmVZtT4uyWxr72A-mz2su3oNM063qCJQ/w640-h640/IMG5059.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /> <br />I have to admit, at first I feel a bit apprehensive about this set because it seems like it's difficult, but thank goodness I was wrong. Since I've been into lilies a lot lately, I decided to paired it with the lilies from <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=www%2Espellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Foriental%2Dlily%2Dand%2Dwellies%2F&afftrack=">Oriental Lily and Wellies from Garden Club by Susan Tierney-Cockburn</a>. I think the yellow lilies paired really well with the navy background. <br /><br />This card definitely not for mailing. I do however love to tuck in this kind of 3D card inside a gift bag. I think it will brighten the day of whoever receiving it. Stay tune for simple but fun cards that's the opposite of this 3D beauty. Till next time.<p></p>Vera Yates (Ling)http://www.blogger.com/profile/10444084419025494780noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145490486929629787.post-25307191255482630862024-02-26T11:00:00.006-06:002024-02-26T11:09:08.611-06:00The Ton 9th Anniversary Release<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I still can remember when I got invited to join The Ton design team 8 years ago. One of my favorite card maker is Yana Smakula and my cards today are inspired by her creations <a href="https://www.yanasmakula.com/foiled-monogram-cards-with-spellbinders-every-occasion-floral-alphabet-betterpress-video/">HERE</a>. For me, her cards always so eye catching, so inspired by her monogram cards, I created the cards below showcasing more of Spellbinders <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fevery%2Doccasion%2Dfloral%2Dalphabet&afftrack=">Every Occasion Floral Alphabet</a>.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">First up is the <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Ffebruary%2D2024%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Ffloral%2Dx%2Dand%2Dsentiment%2Dpress%2Dplate%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Devery%2Doccasion%2Dfloral%2Dalphabet%2Dcollection&afftrack=" target="_blank">Floral X</a>. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq5qLiwOSnF5nXAl9Nq3b5JLVsTP_7ptcYe45GtAJKMpSzQHqZlvO2f7g3lOza_FqlvDjDNn1CzhUvcXeblCN-EDTUIk4PEyrs40RI3svMiIrFQoKhiNmKI2VcDX9Xw-W0EFNtfX_aLkDh7UGwlV-PV-_Qj4diHZNgvZp4ivE_zJECTffLmUQMg5Qxsts/s2400/IMG5050.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq5qLiwOSnF5nXAl9Nq3b5JLVsTP_7ptcYe45GtAJKMpSzQHqZlvO2f7g3lOza_FqlvDjDNn1CzhUvcXeblCN-EDTUIk4PEyrs40RI3svMiIrFQoKhiNmKI2VcDX9Xw-W0EFNtfX_aLkDh7UGwlV-PV-_Qj4diHZNgvZp4ivE_zJECTffLmUQMg5Qxsts/w640-h640/IMG5050.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For this one, I used white ink pad for the press. Then since the result only soft white and I want it to pop more, I decided to do white embossing. The white embossing definitely make it popped more against the black background. Then, I decided to use my pastel to add some color. I simply rubbed the pastel chalk on the flowers and get this beautiful result. For the flower, I used <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fblooming%2Dheart%2Dlarge%2Ddie%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%3F%5Fpos%3D3%26%5Fsid%3Dd9d3d06df%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" target="_blank">Blooming Heart Large Die</a>.<br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhORI5jv9URF_Rks3FWUddrPBxlsq8tF6ulOnaAo4coKY2v8i_5KezEIdQY2CZvnIe4XCnG4wsoGDQh8j9rCRy_lfQyc_p8Mq5tB_LreGweIF07CcSvzlZKQ1RnfY6nJT603ab3gbRuAleHy9hS9FDcXK33w3GolUHTLHI66B2-U5qBFvWgnupiF6wgN0I/s1200/IMG5050.2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhORI5jv9URF_Rks3FWUddrPBxlsq8tF6ulOnaAo4coKY2v8i_5KezEIdQY2CZvnIe4XCnG4wsoGDQh8j9rCRy_lfQyc_p8Mq5tB_LreGweIF07CcSvzlZKQ1RnfY6nJT603ab3gbRuAleHy9hS9FDcXK33w3GolUHTLHI66B2-U5qBFvWgnupiF6wgN0I/w640-h640/IMG5050.2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>I really love the way this card turned out. I remember my mom got the roses and I got the carnation. Now, my dad wasn't good at these kind of thing, so getting the flower was very special for me and since then carnation have a special meaning for me. So, when I received this <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fcarnation%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dthrough%2Dthe%2Darbor%2Dgarden%2Dcollection%2Dby%2Dsusan%2Dtierney%2Dcockburn%3F%5Fpos%3D1%26%5Fsid%3D458880454%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" target="_blank">Spellbinders Carnation Etched dies</a>, I was pretty excited to play with it.<br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXFkt6vdh-VhGkJUC6A0ejhLjqkE6pR_RKAsLLzIKyR_zQvMZliRX6OEq3GIGBZ2vskCAu73G5XEklSXJDOw8X19vIw1GrcAH30RDgvowIfqUIsR1E6YjI785UFh6ySPPg0fSM7E08cn09fPKt1XL1iek5fMzGIaU7NwFE4y8rYmFTabFGR3-bFEuLlIM/s2400/IMG5048.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXFkt6vdh-VhGkJUC6A0ejhLjqkE6pR_RKAsLLzIKyR_zQvMZliRX6OEq3GIGBZ2vskCAu73G5XEklSXJDOw8X19vIw1GrcAH30RDgvowIfqUIsR1E6YjI785UFh6ySPPg0fSM7E08cn09fPKt1XL1iek5fMzGIaU7NwFE4y8rYmFTabFGR3-bFEuLlIM/w640-h640/IMG5048.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /> <br />When you click on the <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fcarnation%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dthrough%2Dthe%2Darbor%2Dgarden%2Dcollection%2Dby%2Dsusan%2Dtierney%2Dcockburn%3F%5Fpos%3D1%26%5Fsid%3D458880454%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" target="_blank">Spellbinders Carnation Etched dies</a> link, you'll also see the video of how to put together this flower. For my card, I decided to paired it with <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fembossing%2Dfolders%2Fproducts%2Fcopy%2Dof%2Dstylized%2Dtrellis%2Dembossing%2Dfolder%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth&afftrack=" target="_blank">Floral Archway 3D Embossing folder</a>. I love, love this embossing folder. I consider it as one of the prettiest 3D embossing folder from Spellbinders. I am enjoying some crafting time this weekend and excited to share a couple of the cards that I finished. It's been a while since I played with Spellbinders Better Press plate and am happy to get back to it. I made a couple cards using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fjanuary%2D2024%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fspellbinders%2Dexclusive%2Dkaleidoscope%2Dgarden%2Dpress%2Dplate&afftrack=" target="_blank">Kaleidoscope Garden</a> set that was released this January.<br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAvqRGzTbK6kIiPFhoUIEFxkXO_xq9cPDOfmYUeC44oBNVypOnuEwInuvNAZi0RwrFeA9_77XYidjE52AEP3lGwypOuvjLytb7mCBMxe-wRc5L1CATCK2PWEXZc_dH-fZQFVDhD168UtpDok-6K1mE54WIhXkxZUOVy0ZfM5GVw-q6_-keQyLZBy8vDxo/s2400/IMG5047.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAvqRGzTbK6kIiPFhoUIEFxkXO_xq9cPDOfmYUeC44oBNVypOnuEwInuvNAZi0RwrFeA9_77XYidjE52AEP3lGwypOuvjLytb7mCBMxe-wRc5L1CATCK2PWEXZc_dH-fZQFVDhD168UtpDok-6K1mE54WIhXkxZUOVy0ZfM5GVw-q6_-keQyLZBy8vDxo/w640-h640/IMG5047.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><div style="text-align: left;">This set reminds me a lot of those coloring book. It's quite therapeutic to color. After I pressed the image I took the time to watercolor the image for the card above. For sentiments, I stamped the sentiment from <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fsending%2Dsentiments%2Dclear%2Dstamp%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%3F%5Fpos%3D1%26%5Fsid%3De2c82fde4%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" target="_blank">Sending Sentiments</a> set and die cut it using the <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fsending%2Dsentiments%2Ddies%2Donly%3F%5Fpos%3D2%26%5Fsid%3De2c82fde4%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" target="_blank">Coordinating Sending Sentiment die set</a>. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Now, for my next card, I took the easy way. I simply did ink blending on the background panel before doing the letter press.</div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVxpfoXzY9OUlEMdo0bS_3uZei66F25JV8XiaTGHpnNjuOHj_puTjfSHohs1NdMepbIQXcX122z9zPncs5pBNzsnNp4Hp7YtlxPHPpUwTpK2a-5HiHq558gDC6jSKSJk7HEpvBWqEZnp7vMHolWkkHghK0GbvYDmcDvQssQZQLxFm8dEmNaNi2BFTfHy8/s1800/IMG5046.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVxpfoXzY9OUlEMdo0bS_3uZei66F25JV8XiaTGHpnNjuOHj_puTjfSHohs1NdMepbIQXcX122z9zPncs5pBNzsnNp4Hp7YtlxPHPpUwTpK2a-5HiHq558gDC6jSKSJk7HEpvBWqEZnp7vMHolWkkHghK0GbvYDmcDvQssQZQLxFm8dEmNaNi2BFTfHy8/w640-h640/IMG5046.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><br /> I am using the same sentiment set as on the first card to finish it. I do like the easy way of the 2nd card and I think it would be fun to create the gradient background with green or blue hues. Well peeps, that's all I have for today. Hope you're enjoying a good weekend.<p></p>Vera Yates (Ling)http://www.blogger.com/profile/10444084419025494780noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145490486929629787.post-26379232367316234442024-02-04T20:14:00.000-06:002024-02-04T20:14:01.383-06:00Spellbinders Stitched Floral<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #424242; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; text-align: start;">Hi friends. I've been doing some stitching this weekend and want to pop in to share this card I made using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fstitching%2Ddie%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%2Dmembership&afftrack=">Spellbinders' January Stitching Die Club kit</a>,<br /><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB8I2o5gkJlGP7_O-9eKa5kfDaHD0VK9ahuAWJ0HlufAF1MLMC-771-gudc-I8DwvZfKHeCpO-OGNgF829SxlWsZM1gU6rnYLoCzSwVln3t-iEyGgFkS_gaikGzhDrmK8vq2e9Acu_7JIeyYodidFlzWbp5LVLwyEJEJ4oB9XDVZpzFS_KaFUhLS4-K4E/s2400/IMG5036.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB8I2o5gkJlGP7_O-9eKa5kfDaHD0VK9ahuAWJ0HlufAF1MLMC-771-gudc-I8DwvZfKHeCpO-OGNgF829SxlWsZM1gU6rnYLoCzSwVln3t-iEyGgFkS_gaikGzhDrmK8vq2e9Acu_7JIeyYodidFlzWbp5LVLwyEJEJ4oB9XDVZpzFS_KaFUhLS4-K4E/w640-h640/IMG5036.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /> <br />How adorable is this kit? This bee is a fun one to stitch. And, if you're not into stitching, you really could just draw line with fine tip colored marker to create faux stitching. I happened to enjoy stitching, so I went for it. For the body I used double threads and for the wing to create a delicate look, I only use a single thread. Once I am done with all the stitching, I assemble the body and the wings and put aside. For the background, I die cut the flower stems several times. I estimate where I want to adhere the bee and only added the glue on the body part at this point. This way, I can arrange the flowers all around it. Only once I am happy with all the flower stems placement that I added glue to the bottom wings and foam adhesive to the top wings for extra dimension.<p></p><p>Hope you enjoy today's card. And, be sure to check out my Instagram account <b><a href="https://www.instagram.com/wirianta/" target="_blank">HERE</a></b> as I posted more cards there than on the blog. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Cheers....</p>Vera Yates (Ling)http://www.blogger.com/profile/10444084419025494780noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145490486929629787.post-80986604711902125432024-01-23T16:52:00.000-06:002024-01-23T16:52:03.644-06:00Whale In A Bottle<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">My intention for 2024 is to create more using sets that are brand new to me. They might have been an older sets that were released last year or even 2 years ago, but they're still new to me because I haven't use them. Well, this set here, <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fwhale%2Din%2Da%2Dbottle%2Dlarge%2Ddie%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%3F%5Fpos%3D1%26%5Fsid%3Da8da15040%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" target="_blank">Spellbinders Whale In A Bottle</a>, I got back in August 2023. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I remember when I saw this set, I was like I have to have it right away. I can't wait. And yet, it sat on my box of sets to use for months. Whether it's work or other stuff, this set just sat there till this past weekend! I finally get to use it. Yay!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNfPPJ64z0sq9Q9c_sgKsjSGm-OhZVz_bZhmjAD4roP0QAefoB_OqxFn9h9y3AnYUq25d52rSFMabaqpXMzJMmka_scwTwLoGqZ3XVg7ph0zJoj4ESl2MvfVD8BaHJ1QTrNUajqrTC4YX09ypZAQSqO8xJ5-GgV8wCPI915eSQdfiCnQTNXx_Rr6FFPpg/s2400/IMG5034.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNfPPJ64z0sq9Q9c_sgKsjSGm-OhZVz_bZhmjAD4roP0QAefoB_OqxFn9h9y3AnYUq25d52rSFMabaqpXMzJMmka_scwTwLoGqZ3XVg7ph0zJoj4ESl2MvfVD8BaHJ1QTrNUajqrTC4YX09ypZAQSqO8xJ5-GgV8wCPI915eSQdfiCnQTNXx_Rr6FFPpg/w640-h640/IMG5034.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /> <br />I had so much fun playing with this set. This past couple of weeks, I've been enjoying crafting for the sake of crafting. It's not for any assignment. I find it as quite liberating and I've been making a bunch of cards. On my last post I shared a project using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fhummingbird%2Dand%2Dlily%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dbibis%2Dhummingbirds%2Dcollection%3F%5Fpos%3D1%26%5Fsid%3Dffedfc006%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=">Spellbinders Hummingbird and Lily Dies from Bibi Cameron</a>. Today, I am sharig another card I made using the same set, just changing the color theme and the sentiment.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgKPs2jjSrYtJiN4K0XkOrhyfWKI-CzQ17obHvdK19-E772YM9ywzAqZA0DagvwCWhrc-HBKovXEPS1JmgoQNAAXxXWoKlzd6WFcG3reQxTFLFTBcFFEFe42h70fW7ekbPGE7Adp82QvT3PRqX9Il3hHK8uZf2eYwvLT0I2E8G77XLVe0lHvrEp9B21kM/s2400/IMG5025.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgKPs2jjSrYtJiN4K0XkOrhyfWKI-CzQ17obHvdK19-E772YM9ywzAqZA0DagvwCWhrc-HBKovXEPS1JmgoQNAAXxXWoKlzd6WFcG3reQxTFLFTBcFFEFe42h70fW7ekbPGE7Adp82QvT3PRqX9Il3hHK8uZf2eYwvLT0I2E8G77XLVe0lHvrEp9B21kM/w640-h640/IMG5025.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /> <div>For the next card, I am using just the lily from the set & paired with this super adorable Memory Box Layered Hummingbird. I am pretty picky on the kind of bird set that I love and this one just went to the top of my favorite because it's so cute and I can make a bunch of them in short amount of time. </div><div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ88RvTg5I7OnhSc3f6601djdeMAY-ZL84j9Ma5nMep01ON_k4TZ9cGIEF23K2jOLmP8rE53cgqY5gHtZFs8kMcO7uxmIfWc9f_ChXq3_zwNuhYhFxlV8wtS1G19DcFxuPNEo2YMx8iUdyeakeflXrsu_JNW-r-9FJmo7liKuVhLT98Pt19HptqSiATMQ/s2400/IMG5035.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ88RvTg5I7OnhSc3f6601djdeMAY-ZL84j9Ma5nMep01ON_k4TZ9cGIEF23K2jOLmP8rE53cgqY5gHtZFs8kMcO7uxmIfWc9f_ChXq3_zwNuhYhFxlV8wtS1G19DcFxuPNEo2YMx8iUdyeakeflXrsu_JNW-r-9FJmo7liKuVhLT98Pt19HptqSiATMQ/w640-h640/IMG5035.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p></div><div>To finish the card, I used a sentiment from old Papertrey Ink set. And, I am not kidding when I said old, but it's one of those set that I just adore.</div><div><br /></div><div>Well peeps, that's all for today. We're getting ready for a downpour tomorrow on our neck of the wood and I have a feeling that I'll be spending quite a bit of my time in my craft room. Till next time.</div>Vera Yates (Ling)http://www.blogger.com/profile/10444084419025494780noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145490486929629787.post-51425312064985427972024-01-11T21:11:00.002-06:002024-01-11T21:11:42.675-06:00Hummingbird Love<p>Hi friends. Happy 2024! As we enter this new year, my goal is to spend more time using sets that I purchased but haven't really used. I am sure you all been in my position, where you see sets that you just have to have and then once you get them, they sat in your drawer for the longest time unused. Well, I am challenging myself to change that. At least every 2 weeks, I want to create using set that is brand new to me. They might be released a year ago or longer, but they still brand new in their package, so, new to me. :)</p><p>Not only I find this challenge refreshing, it also give me freedom to just use any sets and combine sets from various different company.</p><p>And with that in mind, I want to start this year with this gorgeous <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fhummingbird%2Dand%2Dlily%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dbibis%2Dhummingbirds%2Dcollection%3F%5Fpos%3D1%26%5Fsid%3Dffedfc006%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" target="_blank">Spellbinders Hummingbird and Lily Dies from Bibi Cameron</a>. I love hummingbird and lilies are among my favorite flowers, so when I saw this set, I just had to buy it. And, yep, it sat unopened for the longest time and other new release becomes priority, etc. Well, now I am happy that I actually get to use it!!</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKRGm2qsMrnrbYaBVvZV3CuDN65JgN1fCnFIdfcjQXQpuaLNK6NdhTlAJygK682d4K-rejFiUEw0binhWRHSqaTSS8Qnv4pJfILM7TpOzn01rNkLXFdwwg9pLQ5GVv532jDk5_MZ_-X5YnvrGFQZO9tIiqPL_Dkz0Ix_QPoXdvVBNV3oRPM8tiaIg9sDs/s2400/IMG5024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKRGm2qsMrnrbYaBVvZV3CuDN65JgN1fCnFIdfcjQXQpuaLNK6NdhTlAJygK682d4K-rejFiUEw0binhWRHSqaTSS8Qnv4pJfILM7TpOzn01rNkLXFdwwg9pLQ5GVv532jDk5_MZ_-X5YnvrGFQZO9tIiqPL_Dkz0Ix_QPoXdvVBNV3oRPM8tiaIg9sDs/w640-h640/IMG5024.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>I am seriously in love with this set. I actually made 3 cards with this set and will share the others soon. Anyway, with this one, I just die cut everything from white cardstock and then ink blending various inks for the flowers and the bird. Splatter the card base with some gold watercolor and splatter the flower and the bird with some white ink. Finish with sentiment from and old, old set from Papertey Ink.<p></p><p>The way the color come out on the hummingbird makes me happy. So, friends, what do you think of this challenge? Care to play along just for fun? I hope you will and create just for the sake of create. For fun. Not an assignment, just creating because that's something you enjoy. </p><p>May this 2024 be filled with many creative moment and joy for you all. Cheers!!</p>Vera Yates (Ling)http://www.blogger.com/profile/10444084419025494780noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145490486929629787.post-77580985262905626452023-12-25T11:17:00.003-06:002023-12-25T11:17:38.374-06:00Sending Hugs<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hi friends. Hope you're all enjoying this holiday season to the max. Am popping in just to share this cozy card featuring Spellbinders' <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fdecember%2D2023%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fsnuggle%2Dup%2Dcling%2Drubber%2Dstamps%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dhouse%2Dmouse%2Deveryday%2Dcollection&afftrack=" target="_blank">House Mouse Snuggle Up</a> set. Here at my neck of the wood, it's definitely not a white Christmas and this year, it's not super cold either. But, when it' cold, snuggling up is absolutely my favorite thing to do.<br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBa60DOmNtRJtqnlw0o67gSRJmnPVqDLzRvU9W4bWBAywaJ8Y-B3qkmVWbj9ID0HNm6JC5L5X1j-BsOcgeC_9xyz9sA4km47T9WsOFvoBl0NcHKeRjnRIRR59pSfUyIXQG0IMBz4WPN-V8lt_DW87TafjBGjDmcqzWab4PxTtKuA-ubX9gJ5u-4cSV114/s1802/IMG5020.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1802" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBa60DOmNtRJtqnlw0o67gSRJmnPVqDLzRvU9W4bWBAywaJ8Y-B3qkmVWbj9ID0HNm6JC5L5X1j-BsOcgeC_9xyz9sA4km47T9WsOFvoBl0NcHKeRjnRIRR59pSfUyIXQG0IMBz4WPN-V8lt_DW87TafjBGjDmcqzWab4PxTtKuA-ubX9gJ5u-4cSV114/w640-h640/IMG5020.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /> <br />As someone who loves critters, when I saw this set, I was immediately drawn to it. It's cute & give me that cozy vibe, so am excited to play with it. I simply stamped and colored the image with Copic markers. Then I frame it using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fnestabilities%2Dhemstitch%2Drectangles%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dvenise%2Dlace%2Dby%2Dbecca%2Dfeeken%3F%5Fpos%3D2%26%5Fsid%3Da9ac4f2a7%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" target="_blank">Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangle Etched Dies Venise Lace</a>. All in all this is a pretty quick card and I finished by adding some enamel drops. <p></p><p>That's all I have for today peeps. Wherever you are and whether you celebrate Christmas or not, I wish that joy of the season be with you and your family.</p>Vera Yates (Ling)http://www.blogger.com/profile/10444084419025494780noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145490486929629787.post-48164061405615146592023-12-08T10:00:00.063-06:002024-01-11T21:11:55.123-06:00Spellbinders Fave Club Products Blog Hop<div class="separator"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgre-a4GYSO3FF46rMc6utcud78jKuwvovlCHmmhtBFOzDoTQN64uRJycy63IE4H_QpHb7PpgTz0TdjJgy4pu76dCAWDhXZfutxMAnx8cp8ZNo-wFkG1tMmNK1NOOCnR9Vq4K46vbVbUHuEOK0-B_mN41ut_9LriIAyegupFdW6ZcUvIqnOVjU1Jlcw6lk/s2040/November%20Club%20Blog%20Hop_1530%20x%20944%20BLOG.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1259" data-original-width="2040" height="246" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgre-a4GYSO3FF46rMc6utcud78jKuwvovlCHmmhtBFOzDoTQN64uRJycy63IE4H_QpHb7PpgTz0TdjJgy4pu76dCAWDhXZfutxMAnx8cp8ZNo-wFkG1tMmNK1NOOCnR9Vq4K46vbVbUHuEOK0-B_mN41ut_9LriIAyegupFdW6ZcUvIqnOVjU1Jlcw6lk/w400-h246/November%20Club%20Blog%20Hop_1530%20x%20944%20BLOG.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><p><br />Hi friends and welcome to Spellbinders Fave Club Products Blog Hop. Happy December. Today, I have a few projects featuring Spellbinders December Club kit. First up is the card I made using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fglimmer%2Dhot%2Dfoil%2Dkit%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%2Dclub&afftrack=">Spellbinder's December Glimmer Club kit</a>. I love when the foil set is flower related, just like this one. </p><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFCk-Zxs9nIfWju2NSreMVwuzorHCHNyghhmbV3F4WZqUQc6sDUIBUabzEMvqjafLW4woLdgt7J9Qi5OAiFeurfLBT0qkHE_K5rRhIxE_Y3PnOm4gwQlxFMUxI4qEMaClgdKIWRcnGrSXwyPzV5vTci_BjZBaBlEEPaiLutf3kJ4zqrL16N2J2gtQkIh0/s1800/IMG5014.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFCk-Zxs9nIfWju2NSreMVwuzorHCHNyghhmbV3F4WZqUQc6sDUIBUabzEMvqjafLW4woLdgt7J9Qi5OAiFeurfLBT0qkHE_K5rRhIxE_Y3PnOm4gwQlxFMUxI4qEMaClgdKIWRcnGrSXwyPzV5vTci_BjZBaBlEEPaiLutf3kJ4zqrL16N2J2gtQkIh0/w640-h640/IMG5014.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><br />I simply hot foiled the flower corner twice to create the full frame and then colored them with Copic markers. For the sentiment I hot foiled one of the sentiment from <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Finside%2Dcard%2Dglimmer%2Dsentiments%2Dglimmer%2Dhot%2Dfoil%2Dplate%2Dfrom%2Danemone%2Dblooms%2Dcollection%2Dby%2Dyana%2Dsmakula%3F%5Fpos%3D14%26%5Fsid%3Dbad17abb3%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" style="color: #cd6636; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank">Yana Inside Card Glimmer Sentiment</a> and combined it with the birthday sentiment from sentiment from <a href="https://shrsl.com/3dvra">Yana's Layered Script Sentiments</a>.<br /><br />Next is the card I made using Spellbinders' <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2F3d%2Dembossing%2Dfolder%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%2Dmembership&afftrack=">November 3D Embossing folder</a>.<div><br /></div><div><br /><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX2L9Z3Mz_AzAtYWvCcnYnN04z5qTqhjcJ8n6RmGYVHFSD_m7jH0m0aP5Ub1B9JcDqX6VePpZbcNQF2_6ZX4-g8sEnkdfBXSv2d0qzS_Q93b44E_AbWh8s_2fhL0n1JU6AOp6M6AIX6iHGb07xwK9umTnVqyCtHcSPuIG8pixKmaxuOp6b8YRxnyYCsJY/s1800/IMG5015.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX2L9Z3Mz_AzAtYWvCcnYnN04z5qTqhjcJ8n6RmGYVHFSD_m7jH0m0aP5Ub1B9JcDqX6VePpZbcNQF2_6ZX4-g8sEnkdfBXSv2d0qzS_Q93b44E_AbWh8s_2fhL0n1JU6AOp6M6AIX6iHGb07xwK9umTnVqyCtHcSPuIG8pixKmaxuOp6b8YRxnyYCsJY/w640-h640/IMG5015.jpg" /></a></div></div><br /><br />Once I embossed the card panel, I colored the embossed flowers with Copic and add hot foiling sentiment that comes with the set. Finished by adding some enamel drops.</div><div><br /></div><div>For my 3rd card, am showcasing <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fembossing%2Dfolder%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%2Dmembership&afftrack=">Spellbinders November Embossing Club Kit</a>. <br /><br /><div><span face="Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif" style="color: #424242;"><span style="font-size: 13px;"><br /></span></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyOIlupOlB0BLtAigFKtya3OdWTi7GXGbKwO6-wjcjz-e4DE4BMcHJ8Df_aTFMteCwQhl0QSnSy3ZqeVHmKh-CgTbcBhQSS8aq03i1i-umaAWpA_36jq8osoG8Crkg9VpT6VZtAlACfCFSUu0kmW8jMXOKRucKSzHZytpuRcZWiOpFPqd41s7Nn0-YkK4/s1800/IMG5013.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyOIlupOlB0BLtAigFKtya3OdWTi7GXGbKwO6-wjcjz-e4DE4BMcHJ8Df_aTFMteCwQhl0QSnSy3ZqeVHmKh-CgTbcBhQSS8aq03i1i-umaAWpA_36jq8osoG8Crkg9VpT6VZtAlACfCFSUu0kmW8jMXOKRucKSzHZytpuRcZWiOpFPqd41s7Nn0-YkK4/w640-h640/IMG5013.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>I ink blended some red, pink and orange on the card panel before embossing it. I've been want to use Spellbinders <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fseptember%2D2022%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Ffolk%2Dsong%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dwinter%2Dtales%2Dcollection%2Dby%2Dzsoka%2Dmarko&afftrack=">Folk Song</a> set again and thought this embossed background is perfect for it. I am popping in to share some cards I made using Spellbinders' November Club Kits. And, boy, am I in love with this month kits!! First up is this bright, eye catching color card I made using Spellbinders' <a href="http://spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/large-die-of-the-month-membership" style="background-color: white; color: #3778cd; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">November Large Die of The Month Set</a><span face="Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif" style="background-color: white; color: #424242; font-size: 13px;">. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj38oF-4Z3oV_0zO3ExoLOakLVr9KMU_E2gE_tdI8XOwCDXd0hyya9bgY-ZYm_Pt8SwxY4TaO8xIjS7pVQSLrFMnxNPCXxAOrS4kBPhx_UmsFy-E-tlvEiOcFlEQryO72CSamrNp5fGtt16NAK7uFO64HpAXGXQqCL8NF69hT-CrCaLc4YWuXzVlgcFhtE/s2400/IMG5007.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj38oF-4Z3oV_0zO3ExoLOakLVr9KMU_E2gE_tdI8XOwCDXd0hyya9bgY-ZYm_Pt8SwxY4TaO8xIjS7pVQSLrFMnxNPCXxAOrS4kBPhx_UmsFy-E-tlvEiOcFlEQryO72CSamrNp5fGtt16NAK7uFO64HpAXGXQqCL8NF69hT-CrCaLc4YWuXzVlgcFhtE/w640-h640/IMG5007.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Hubby said this card is one of his favorite as he said I rarely used dark colored background. Sentiment is from <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fglimmer%2Dhot%2Dfoil%2Dkit%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%2Dclub&afftrack=">Spellbinder's November Glimmer Club kit</a>. I had so much fun playing with tis set, I can't help making another card (below) with this set.<div><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-LdD2eWMKU8pv872Li3WxqjX6HPNzvk_zvRFShQ-exAyYcX_OSZuDZANdeTn9tnDcL1oX3-Rt_5pK5n_3mqfCvAAzZNIkGuI0I3BGylDlzaGl4DrfRgJdjlRuxl9CNusgenUJpYU4SGE4LgTlRdnWolsXJNUW_JR0xxbAQosXbgl3IShvJGSDn68dJxs/s2400/IMG5005.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-LdD2eWMKU8pv872Li3WxqjX6HPNzvk_zvRFShQ-exAyYcX_OSZuDZANdeTn9tnDcL1oX3-Rt_5pK5n_3mqfCvAAzZNIkGuI0I3BGylDlzaGl4DrfRgJdjlRuxl9CNusgenUJpYU4SGE4LgTlRdnWolsXJNUW_JR0xxbAQosXbgl3IShvJGSDn68dJxs/w640-h640/IMG5005.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Then, since hubby complimented my usage of dark colored background, to showcase <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fstitching%2Ddie%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%2Dmembership&afftrack=">Spellbinders' October Stitching Die Club kit</a>, I decided to again use black cardstock for the background. Today I am showcasing Simon Hurley Snowglobe collection for Spellbinders. I have soft spot for snow globe since I do have a small collection of Disney snow globe that I love. Anyway, whenever I get a chance to play with any snow globe related products, I do it in a heartbeat.</p><p>First up, is this card using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Foctober%2D2023%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fsimons%2Dsnow%2Dglobe%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dsimons%2Dsnow%2Dglobes%2Dcollection%2Dby%2Dsimon%2Dhurley&afftrack=" target="_blank">Simon's Snow Globe Etched Dies set</a>. </p></div><div class="separator" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><div style="text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcscFtD8csAOjXFswdbxQtAVN7ueFIcm3Hrc9W9Eod32JlQP3bo7vJCSBOfWXH6bg9Bf87dkvUCSQGIB_o5lkvODBzH9roijYZE7nKm-3AKH6xUTDg18FWcNG29vzfcUxBZ59fr35zbnazYrT6k5Ysujqx_fi37uH3sRZwUAaV-7dxRP0LcloJ3Uaz2rY/w640-h640/IMG4489.jpg" width="640" /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br />It's pretty much a classic scene right to see Santa and his reindeer dashing from rooftop to rooftop? For the next card, we change scenery from city to the quiet forest scene using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Foctober%2D2023%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fwoodland%2Dscene%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dsimons%2Dsnow%2Dglobes%2Dcollection%2Dby%2Dsimon%2Dhurley&afftrack=" target="_blank">Woodland Scene Etched Dies set.</a> As an animal lover this scene definitely pull me in and I find it peaceful.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBbo0vGCL5O7pb2gNztWu-2pCwJDDpbcF7Dszem3b_gB_7PGiPsswlyxA0RKfjXtiDPWQL_cVLRtwlvhrUP7ftZofEaU3jH6F8vTiR5JApisaZN2ZMPTlzKBLu2cVgR_sdiHgoMrEB5sSw1r11PQsUMdsISFsx7baFCT19PhY4AJdjscUsXKhMc4kdlNw/s1806/IMG4490.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1806" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBbo0vGCL5O7pb2gNztWu-2pCwJDDpbcF7Dszem3b_gB_7PGiPsswlyxA0RKfjXtiDPWQL_cVLRtwlvhrUP7ftZofEaU3jH6F8vTiR5JApisaZN2ZMPTlzKBLu2cVgR_sdiHgoMrEB5sSw1r11PQsUMdsISFsx7baFCT19PhY4AJdjscUsXKhMc4kdlNw/w638-h640/IMG4490.jpg" width="638" /></a></div></div></div><p><br /></p><br />And, last but not least also part of Simon SNow Globe collection is this <a href="https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/collections/october-2023-new-arrivals/products/playful-poinsettia-3d-embossing-folder-from-the-simons-snow-globes-collection-by-simon-hurley">Playful Poinsettia 3D Embossing folder</a>, that comes with coordinating die.<div><br /></div><div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK8ZA8U4Z5RwERcoQEdNIAWWw4NamYD2DECa9m2GjLyR_imfBeMW-WtdTgwZZRAwx8ogfsVO0jO14RKiakWcxkbvlpewAAW7ETHgN-BBB7ceARk8gG69QlNqJwkLYemoDxsV0ow0Q2uOBoaC1iT_2mGcbYPL5JzrDcjqENhkXyxtKC6aaViJ9Y32LfxOc/s1800/IMG5003.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK8ZA8U4Z5RwERcoQEdNIAWWw4NamYD2DECa9m2GjLyR_imfBeMW-WtdTgwZZRAwx8ogfsVO0jO14RKiakWcxkbvlpewAAW7ETHgN-BBB7ceARk8gG69QlNqJwkLYemoDxsV0ow0Q2uOBoaC1iT_2mGcbYPL5JzrDcjqENhkXyxtKC6aaViJ9Y32LfxOc/w640-h640/IMG5003.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>I simply embossed the cardstock and splatter it with some gold watercolor. The cool thing about this stencil is even though it's layered it all come in 1 large sheet, so at least you don't have to worry about losing or missing a layer. Considering the way I am crafting, often with so many stuff piled around, this may or may not happened once or twice. Hah!<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizxHo6YzHSP3iHhd6Zrs8lptiAkGTNwwa5Dh1dKHHhuciGaewt7Agm8M7HcwruMWNcgevg4c6PIVyDp8GKzoNEYrB6vfd5C7-jP0aTOVRU7wcPxIcdTs9gJ7hnz6K5Aqv99ZL8oLgJelxXxAmtmcmsfC976HqLLTnVvGwzY5jBAzQXRCpXU9Ss26fL6RY/s2405/IMG4499.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2405" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizxHo6YzHSP3iHhd6Zrs8lptiAkGTNwwa5Dh1dKHHhuciGaewt7Agm8M7HcwruMWNcgevg4c6PIVyDp8GKzoNEYrB6vfd5C7-jP0aTOVRU7wcPxIcdTs9gJ7hnz6K5Aqv99ZL8oLgJelxXxAmtmcmsfC976HqLLTnVvGwzY5jBAzQXRCpXU9Ss26fL6RY/w638-h640/IMG4499.jpg" width="638" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>For the sentiment, again I used sentiment from <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fbetterpress%2Dletterpress%2Dcollections%2Fproducts%2Falways%2Dand%2Dforever%2Dsentiment%2Dstrips%2Dpress%2Dplate%2Ddie%2Dset%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dbetterpress%2Dcollection&afftrack=">Always and Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate</a>. I have a lot of them just laying around since I made a bunch already for quick grab.<div><br /></div><div>Okie dokie, that's all I have for today. Pretty good way to start the week, I'd say with 3 projects done. I did crafting quite a bit this past weekend, so stay tune for more Spellbinders goodness. </div>Vera Yates (Ling)http://www.blogger.com/profile/10444084419025494780noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145490486929629787.post-25436905244403395222023-10-17T10:30:00.003-05:002023-10-17T10:30:21.614-05:00Autumn Serenade<p>Hi there crafty friends. I am excited to share today's projects as the colors on this card are so my kind of colors. Let's get on with it, shall we?<br /></p><p>First up is this soft pink hue card using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Foctober%2D2023%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Ffoiled%2Dvellum%2D6%2Dx%2D6%2Dpaper%2Dpad%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dserenade%2Dof%2Dautumn%2Dcollection&afftrack=" target="_blank">Spellbinders Serenade of Autumn Foiled Vellum</a> set.</p><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSDicOe6gg2RC_4Q9H_Sv-ky6CG_c5dE38EKE_Omp_l4IRPE5vQNcSlN916I-yST9XB5vjNN9g7BPAzwCPc1DRkizi_1xj8vEa3OQFRtObO1kEduU9vdCfaCM3Pl_VQfIcVYGR8UzhEjled988zFIojezAZF7GjevzNWK8QBsxx4kpjLeZ-Jh7Gg0PVkI/s2400/IMG4493.jpg"><img border="0" data-original-height="2398" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSDicOe6gg2RC_4Q9H_Sv-ky6CG_c5dE38EKE_Omp_l4IRPE5vQNcSlN916I-yST9XB5vjNN9g7BPAzwCPc1DRkizi_1xj8vEa3OQFRtObO1kEduU9vdCfaCM3Pl_VQfIcVYGR8UzhEjled988zFIojezAZF7GjevzNWK8QBsxx4kpjLeZ-Jh7Gg0PVkI/w640-h640/IMG4493.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I love, love, love this vellum design . It just so pretty with it's gold foil. I simply did some ink blending on the back of the velum and add glue behind the gold foil line so it wouldn't show through the front. Added the beautiful, dainty butterfly from <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Foctober%2D2023%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fdimensional%2Dautumn%2Dbutterfly%2Dstickers%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dserenade%2Dof%2Dautumn%2Dcollection&afftrack=" target="_blank">Dimensional Autumn Butterfly Stickers</a> and finish with hot foiled sentiment from <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Finside%2Dcard%2Dglimmer%2Dsentiments%2Dglimmer%2Dhot%2Dfoil%2Dplate%2Dfrom%2Danemone%2Dblooms%2Dcollection%2Dby%2Dyana%2Dsmakula%3F%5Fpos%3D14%26%5Fsid%3Dbad17abb3%26%5Fss%3Dr&afftrack=" target="_blank">Yana Inside Card Glimmer Sentiment</a> that I popped with foam adhesive.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Now, the next 3 cards, oh my word, I am in love with them. LOL, my friends said these are my kind of cards as the colors are totally my kind of color. I am using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Foctober%2D2023%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fautumn%2Dserenade%2D3d%2Dembossing%2Dfolder%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dserenade%2Dof%2Dautumn%2Dcollection&afftrack=" target="_blank">Autumn Serenade 3d Embossing Folder</a> for all 3 cards and simply changing the placement of the cardstock to get the different look.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixZR4BCQZXgCWJlNeprO5GnA8HLBd4edu1S7pKXSScbjKHTUYuirw0bRgYleRt-meO0GeHtuM_tjBqZdMPP2hpctjL7p0eR2ZZs0_wEtDgJE2ONqFv3L_QaTnurEy8jTyHMJd0jU6qK28E6FTN8LFfIFWH_IJdRLG2bDvIIVLCO-poNOkrg-icxyovnoo/s2409/IMG4496.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2409" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixZR4BCQZXgCWJlNeprO5GnA8HLBd4edu1S7pKXSScbjKHTUYuirw0bRgYleRt-meO0GeHtuM_tjBqZdMPP2hpctjL7p0eR2ZZs0_wEtDgJE2ONqFv3L_QaTnurEy8jTyHMJd0jU6qK28E6FTN8LFfIFWH_IJdRLG2bDvIIVLCO-poNOkrg-icxyovnoo/w638-h640/IMG4496.jpg" width="638" /></a></div><br /><div><br /></div><div>Once the embossing done, I ink blending the colors using Distress Oxide Ink on the embossed side, then using wet watercolor brush, blend and spread the color even more. Anyway, I am happy that I finally finish this fun Christmas card using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fstitching%2Ddie%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%2Dmembership&afftrack=" style="background-color: white; color: #cd6636; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; text-align: left; text-decoration-line: none;">Spellbinders' October Stitching Die Club kit</a><span style="background-color: white; color: #424242; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; text-align: left;">.<br /><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Orq3zokqQV7zybCrNTWmTl__o7vO6JAUPU2Y-o-ohdspudcHJomzmwgCEPMtolwqnHvtvetHwNhgML4dNO6Mz5FxEgJDXn2aMTqWtks2qK7l3Sr5JTK0WGihse4qiKNVfq8JOJQFOT7YiEAGVxCP1bWmxtj4veJsUfUDkOMdsAvIhzgob_LQR2Fe5YY/s2400/IMG4492.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2400" data-original-width="2400" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Orq3zokqQV7zybCrNTWmTl__o7vO6JAUPU2Y-o-ohdspudcHJomzmwgCEPMtolwqnHvtvetHwNhgML4dNO6Mz5FxEgJDXn2aMTqWtks2qK7l3Sr5JTK0WGihse4qiKNVfq8JOJQFOT7YiEAGVxCP1bWmxtj4veJsUfUDkOMdsAvIhzgob_LQR2Fe5YY/w640-h640/IMG4492.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /> <p></p><div>I love the stitching pattern on the Christmas tree and also that it's only a few stitching required. Just like that we're entering the last 3 month phase on 2023. This month's kits from Spellbinders are full of fun & beautiful sets. Let's get on with it, shall we?</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">First up, I made this Christmas card using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fglimmer%2Dhot%2Dfoil%2Dkit%2Dof%2Dthe%2Dmonth%2Dclub&afftrack=">Spellbinder's October Glimmer Club kit</a> and then simply color the image with Copic markers. For the bouquet I used <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fglimmer%2Dhot%2Dfoil%2Fproducts%2Fglimmer%2Dhot%2Dfoil%2Droll%2Dcopper%3F%5Fpos%3D13%26%5Ffid%3D3fd9897b5%26%5Fss%3Dc&afftrack=" target="_blank">Copper hot foil roll</a>. And, I love the dainty bow on this set & want it to stand out a bit from teh bouquet, so I hot foiled it using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fglimmer%2Dhot%2Dfoil%2Fproducts%2Fglimmer%2Dhot%2Dfoil%2Droll%2Dmagenta%3F%5Fpos%3D34%26%5Ffid%3D3fd9897b5%26%5Fss%3Dc&afftrack=" target="_blank">Magenta hot foil roll</a>. Today, I am sharing a few cards showcasing a couple of Spellbinders latest Better Press sets. I have to say that with al of these sets, my Christmas cards collection grows quite well.</p><p>First up is this classic Santa card using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fseptember%2D2023%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fholly%2Djolly%2Dsanta%2Dpress%2Dplate%2Ddie%2Dset%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dmore%2Dbetterpress%2Dchristmas%2Dcollection&afftrack=" target="_blank">Holly Jolly Santa Press Plate set</a>.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXIoRilfDAX2Ocy9rbueYoAv8NFsEqvMQ7zugIS8GZgbJKqp64zw9IWyUz1tmbFGpKTrKR9fNiUwqXn1d5Yagzx14j8Z-0VK9LX-sTFwC9og3__EO8YHIVU-H8YLBQS6ZPZFr4mmXxPXgDhZTOgWuUZ4NZeYTtYFbI5uy8Ar2PFfIuqXArcK8BwOKbwAs/s1800/IMG4476.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXIoRilfDAX2Ocy9rbueYoAv8NFsEqvMQ7zugIS8GZgbJKqp64zw9IWyUz1tmbFGpKTrKR9fNiUwqXn1d5Yagzx14j8Z-0VK9LX-sTFwC9og3__EO8YHIVU-H8YLBQS6ZPZFr4mmXxPXgDhZTOgWuUZ4NZeYTtYFbI5uy8Ar2PFfIuqXArcK8BwOKbwAs/w640-h640/IMG4476.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>I press the Santa image on watercolor cardstock and then i add green and blue watercolor to the background. Let dry and then using one of the arch die from <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fdies%2Fproducts%2Fessential%2Darches%2Detched%2Ddies%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dglimmer%2Dgreetings%2Dcollection%3F%5Fpos%3D144%26%5Ffid%3Dde3255d6f%26%5Fss%3Dc&afftrack=">Essential Arches Etched Dies set</a>, I cut the top part above the Santa to create the tag shape. Bottom part I simply create the flag end by cutting it with scissor. For the card background I used <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fseptember%2D2022%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fski%2Dlodge%2Dembossing%2Dfolder%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dwinter%2Dtales%2Dcollection%2Dby%2Dzsoka%2Dmarko&afftrack=" style="background-color: white; color: #cd6636; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; text-decoration-line: none;">Ski Lodge Embossing Folder</a>. Put all the pieces together and finish by adding sentiment and some enamel dots.</p><p>Next up is the card I made using <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fseptember%2D2023%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fpoinsettia%2Dcorner%2Dpress%2Dplate%2Ddie%2Dset%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dmore%2Dbetterpress%2Dchristmas%2Dcollection&afftrack=" target="_blank">Poinsettia Corner Press Plate</a>. I actually made 2 cards using this plate. The first one I used the plat with the hot foil machine. Yep, the BetterPress plate works pretty well with the hot foil machine.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihMeOw8-jVZu3mNsWF89eeLbj5qDbaICTegkKbhCpClLx-xZpeMjcMzhLuw-Pb7rjSvWz_yIdoFfhsCfrDRqsZ9L8VOflnZ3R7k57AwXYhxL2vgTAQQbawcfUoMFU_IlW4y_OWj53M2p57e82ODjNx5VyhL-bLduYH7X-ukvll7MVDPz24zKdAQ2IYbh4/s1802/IMG4477.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1802" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihMeOw8-jVZu3mNsWF89eeLbj5qDbaICTegkKbhCpClLx-xZpeMjcMzhLuw-Pb7rjSvWz_yIdoFfhsCfrDRqsZ9L8VOflnZ3R7k57AwXYhxL2vgTAQQbawcfUoMFU_IlW4y_OWj53M2p57e82ODjNx5VyhL-bLduYH7X-ukvll7MVDPz24zKdAQ2IYbh4/w640-h640/IMG4477.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>I simply colored the image with Copic marker as I hot foiled the image to regular cardstock (not watercolor or cotton press cardstock). Once done, I simply trim the panel and adhere to card base. Add sentiment and some rhinestones.<div><br /></div><div>Last but not least, I used the <a href="https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=981584&u=1519733&m=70661&urllink=spellbinderspaperarts%2Ecom%2Fcollections%2Fseptember%2D2023%2Dnew%2Darrivals%2Fproducts%2Fpoinsettia%2Dcorner%2Dpress%2Dplate%2Ddie%2Dset%2Dfrom%2Dthe%2Dmore%2Dbetterpress%2Dchristmas%2Dcollection&afftrack=" target="_blank">Poinsettia Corner Press Plate</a> again and press the image twice to on each corner of the panel. Watercolor the image, trim the panel and adhere it to card base.<br /><div><br /></div><div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyLQ-byJ73qHnd1q3EqggZskgbWjn75hlkpaVSl2q2oaj_h2gWI-O01no-5hMPnzkp2rMG-2Oghx6EZZcP9an2tU17E9eo5SFETsPN0qHvgDn4Udm8H0kt7bKfP1Y6F8mT6Gxuu35F9afUgtGnMLWmpaUKr7o8hKh7isojX4C1YRSoYmYAatljhy1k1aU/s1805/IMG4478.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1805" data-original-width="1800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyLQ-byJ73qHnd1q3EqggZskgbWjn75hlkpaVSl2q2oaj_h2gWI-O01no-5hMPnzkp2rMG-2Oghx6EZZcP9an2tU17E9eo5SFETsPN0qHvgDn4Udm8H0kt7bKfP1Y6F8mT6Gxuu35F9afUgtGnMLWmpaUKr7o8hKh7isojX4C1YRSoYmYAatljhy1k1aU/w638-h640/IMG4478.jpg" width="638" /></a></div><br /><p>Finish by adding sentiment and some glimmer to the Poinsettia with Stickles. I love the way this card looks in person as the glimmer definitely add fun element to it and who doesn't love a little sparkle on their Christmas card, right?</p><p>Okie dokie, that's all I have for today. Hope you enjoy today's Christmas inspirations. Cheers...</p></div></div>Vera Yates (Ling)http://www.blogger.com/profile/10444084419025494780noreply@blogger.com0
