Life Is A Story

I discover I love reading when I was on the 3rd grade. My older brother, Jeff, had a bunch of Enyd Blyton collection. If you're not familiar with her, she's an English author of hundreds of children book. I don't think she's popular here in the States, I am not sure. 

Many of her books are adventure or mystery, but very PG13. On summer vacation, my mom would drop us at the book store and my  brother and I could sit there for hours, browsing and reading books. I love reading. For me, books take you to so many wonderful, amazing places.

This latest set, called I Love Big Books from SugarPea totally capture my love of books. Granted, I don't look anything like the girl on the set when I am reading. LOL, most of the time, I'll be in my pj, snuggling on the couch and covered with dogs.

I love how I can create the shelf of book. So much fun to create!

You're Tee-rific

Hi all. I have more cuteness to share with you as we continue sharing more new products from SugarPea Designs.

Of course, I get all geeky when I saw today's set. Hubby loves golfing, so this set is so perfect for him. Now, I can make golf related cards for him and also for my brother-in-law, who's also a golfer.

Welcome Little One

Woohoo!! It's time for SugarPea Design new release week! Be ready peeps... We have lots of cuteness to share with you all.

This is my favorite card from this release. Soft colors & cute image. What's not to love, right? This cute stork reminds me of the stork from Dumbo. And, I think it's the cutest stork stamp that's available in the market at the moment.

Glittery Birthday Wishes

Hi peeps. Today, I am back with another card for Crafter's Companion. Again, I am playing with the Daisy Dream dies. This time, I ran the dies over a sticky sheet and then cover it with various color glitter.

On hindsight, I wish I have deeper color glitters instead of pastel color ones. I think it will turned out even better. Unfortunately, I don't have any on hand. Learn and move on, right? In person, this card actually looks much better because it all sparkle.

Believe In Your Dreams

Last month, Crafter's Companion is releasing a new collection called Kimono. There are 4 stamp sets in this collection and today I want to share this card using the main image from Paper Moon set.

Supplies: Crafter's Companion Paper Moon,
Spectrum Noir BT1, BT2, BT3, CT2, CT3, FS1, FS2, HB1, HB2

Beautiful image, right? I do love working with moon image. I think moon is so dreamy. On this one, on purpose I color outside the moon itself to create the glow look from the moon.

Well, I am keeping my post short and simple. LOL, when you have to schedule so many post in advance, you kind of running out of stuff to talk about. I hope you enjoy today's card.

Bunches of Good Wishes

Kind of funny to think that a few years back I found working with flower images hard and intimidating. And, nowadays, I love working with flower images.

For this card, I get to work with Crafter's Companion Daisy Dream dies.

Crafter's Companion supplies: Stamp: Party Paws Flowers From Bamboo,
Dies: Daisy Dream, Spectrum Aqua: Peacock Blue, Aquamarine,
Spectrum Noir: F5, FS6

To create the gradient color of the blue, I used Spectrum Aqua markers to color the die-cut piece. This dies is pretty fancy, so I like to keep the rest of the design simple as to not overcrowded the whole card.

Hopefully, this post goes up without a hitch. Hubby and I are taking a trip to Italy. We've been wanting to visit it for a while. It's definitely one of those place that's on our bucket list. Be back with more scheduled post through out the week. :)

POD Thank You Card

Hello May! I love the month of May. I guess because it's the month where the weather is usually pretty fantastic. Not super hot, yet, just gorgeous to spend time outside.

A while back, I finished this card that I made for Purple Onion Design that totally make me think of spring time in Europe. The old buildings, combine with beautiful blooms everywhere. 

This is one oft hose CAS card that just make my heart happy. You know what else make my heart happy? Travel! Exploring new place, check out my travel bucket list. As this post go up, hubby and I would be on our way to Italy. I am excited to experience this country and looking forward for doing some photography.

The only thing that I find hard is being away from the doggies. They're my babies and I can't help worrying about them while we're away. Hopefully, they're enjoying their own vacation time as well as they're staying with a doggy sitter that also pug crazy like I am. She has a couple cute pugs and I hope Eli & Abby have lots of fun with them.
