SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 5

This is it peeps. Welcome to day 5 also known as release day for SugarPea Designs Sweet Peeks week. Last but not least, we're introducing SugarCut Die - Floral Pocket Tag and Christmas Characters.

Now, you know how I feel about flowers, right? I loveee flowers. So, needless to say for today's card I am showcasing SugarCut Die - Floral Pocket Tag.

I started by die-cutting all the flower elements out of white cardstock and then colored all of them. Now, come to think of it, if I follow the season, I should have colored them in fall theme. But, that's not how my mind works. What color combo I used really depends on my mood when I created, so spring color it is. ;)

Then I die cut the pocket tag. Using the same dies, I do partial cut, so I can get a tag matching the pocket and just trim the sides a teeny weeny bit, so the tag can slide in and out the pocket easily. You can guess what  make this card super fun in my book? Um, yeah, you can pull out the tag and use it as book mark. At least, that's what came up to my mind what to do with the pretty tag.

I created the background using Geo Snowflake Stencil.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 4

We're getting there peeps. We're mid way to SugarPea Design release day. For today we are introducing Sweet As Pie, Cutie Pie, Leaf Cover Plate (please note all links will go live on release day)

When I saw the Leaf Cover Plate, it was love at first sight. I just love the detailed cut out of the leaves.

I colored the panel with various distress oxide ink pads before I run it through my Cuttlebug (what??? Yes, I still have the oldie but goodie manual die cut machine). Then adhere it to the card base. Next, I stamped, colored an die cut the cute bear from Hey Winter set that we introduced the day before. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a vellum and punch it out before adding it to the card.

Now, giveaway time. How would you like to win Sweet As Pie set? Simply leave a comment on SugarPea blog. And, for extra entries, check out the DT blogs and leave comment along the way. Thank you all for stopping by here. One more day to release day!!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 3

Woohoo.... We're mid way to SugarPea Designs holiday release day. Today we are introducing Christmas Car, Joy Word With Shadow, Merry Word With Shadow, and Oh So Jolly Sentiments.

The Christmas car die is just so cute & really this whole card comes together pretty quick. Diecutting the car from colored cardstock definitely save time from having to color it. :)

Using Falling Snow Stencil, I stenciled the background and then simply adhere the car, add shadow to the Christmas tree and attached it with foam adhesive to make it pop a bit. Finished by stamping the sentiment from Oh So Jolly Sentiments and add a strip of patterned paper on the bottom. Quick & simple. This is definitely one of those card that you could for for mass production.

Want to join today's giveaway? Please make sure you swing by SugarPea Blog and leave a comment there. Then for additional entries, check out what the team has created and also leave comment along the way. The team has worked hard for this release and I hope you enjoy everyone's creation. Thank you all for stopping by here. Happy hump day! Cheers....

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 2

Hi y'all and welcome to day 2 of SugarPea Designs sweet peek week. We have more cuteness & fun products to share and I for one adore today's cutenesss. :)

Today we're introducing Hey Winter, Falling Snow Stencil, Geo Snowflake Stencil (all link will go live on release day). For my project today I only used 2 of the 3 sets. Stay tune for a super sparkly project using the Geo Snowflake Stencil that I will share on SPD blog later on the month.

I first partially inked up the card panel and then using the Falling Snow stencil I added some Glitz glitter gel. While I let it dry, I worked on the cute bear. Once the panel dry, I adhere it to the card base and it kind of hard to see but I added some snow shade behind the bear and also stamped the Christmas tree.

Arrange all the elements on the card and stamped the sentiment on a strip of cardstock.

What I love of the bear on Hey Winter set is that you can actually use him for more than just a winter card. Just using the set itself, you could use it for winter, fall, Christmas or birthday card. And, you can even get more out of it by mixing it with previously release sets.

Would you like to win Hey Winter set? Easy peasy. Simply leave a comment on SugarPea Blog. Wants more chance to win? Then check out my teammates blog and leave comment along the way for extra entries. Well peeps, that's all from me today. Hope you have a lovely day and see you tomorrow with more sneak peeks.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 1

Hi peeps. Welcome to day 1 of SugarPea Design Sweet Peek week. We have lots of fun new goodies to introduce with this release.

For day 1 we're introducing Buffalo Check, Gnome for Christmas and Snowglobe dies. I am using all 3 sets on my card.

I die cut the snowglobe and colored the base with distress oxide ink. Then I work on the gnome. I love gnomes. They just so cute! At first I was going to do a simple die cut card, but then decided to make shaker card.

Once I am done with the shaker card part, I stamped the Buffalo Check directly to the card base. Then I added the snowglobe.

Now, my teammates have created some amazing projects for this release. So, make sure you check their blog. And, we have daily giveaway during this whole week. Check out SugarPea Blog for details on the release & giveaway. Thank you so much for stopping by here and come back tomorrow for more sneak peek. Happy Monday!

STAMPtember Party

Hi peeps. It's that time of the year. It's finally here. Yep, yep.... Time to celebrate STAMPtember with Simon Says Stamp.

I am sure by now you 're familiar with this awesome event. It's like the most amazing celebration in card making. There will tons of inspiration going on, so I'll keep my post short & to the point.

For my card, I am playing with SSS Celebrate You set.

I simply stamp the martini several times, colored them with Copic and then covered it with liqui enamel. For the sentiment, to make it more festive I heat embossed it with WOW Black Glint embossing powder. This is what I call simple but fun card. ;) Who doesn't love colorful martinis, right?

And, please make sure you stop by Simon Says Stamp blog for more details on this awesome celebration and for special offer throughout the month.

Psst.... want free gift with purchase? Use the coupon code below. Thank you all for stopping by here. Happy Labor day and happy STAMPtember. Enjoy your day!
