Welcome to Pink Power Bloghop. The purpose of this hop is to raise breast cancer awareness and support our friends and family who are going though breast cancer treatment. My dear friend, Chaitali Narla, has rounded up some of her crafty friends to help spread BC awareness. This is a cause close to her heart because she lost her mom to it earlier this year.
I joined Chaitali on this hop last year, when her mother was still going through the battle. She even designed a special Pink Power set for Verve Stamps to show her love & support for her mom. For this year, I decided to use another set that she designed called Moments Remembered.
Whether your family been touch by BC or not, I think this is a great reminder to cherish our loved ones and spend quality time with them, because many times this quality times becomes moments that we'll always remember.
I'd like to encourage you all to go get checked regularly. I, myself, just got my 1st check this year as I turned 40 and after my 1st mammogram, they said I need to get another one as they saw some lumps. Nope, that's not something any woman want to hear.
Luckily, after the 2nd mammo they think the lumps are only benign calcium deposit. However, to be safe, they want me to have another mammo in December so they can compare whether there's any change or not. Trust me, I'll take that 3rd mammo just to be sure. Mammo is not the most comfortable thing to do, but it's totally worth it. Better be safe than sorry.
Now, here's the complete hop participants. I hope you'll join us and check out all blog. Thank you for stopping by here.

What a sweet card.
Absolutely gorgeous card! I love how you colored the pink peacock! So beautiful!
Beautiful card! And very happy that you are getting checked out and keeping an eye on this potential deadly "C".
Such a pretty design! Love the bit of texture going on in the corner!
How beautiful, both the card and the sentiment.
Lovely pink rare bird!
When I first started having mammograms I got called back for second looks every year:( But always a releif when found clear the next round.
In recent years, I simply have my OB order a DIAGNOSTIC mammo. It is more in-depth and already scheduled for ultrasound if needed.
Happy to report that this year, all looked great on the first one! First one in 10:) I came home saying "I passed!" It was a great day.
Praying your follow-up is as possative!
Beautiful card with a beautiful sentiment. It is so true. Those moments are important. Thank you for sharing your story. I turned 40 this year too and will get a mammo scheduled at my yearly exam in January. Not looking forward to it, but want to be proactive. Sending you positive thoughts for a reassuring 3rd mammo (ouch) and praying for negative results when they do. :)
