My Happy Place Is With You

Crafty peeps,  you really are amazing! This weekend I've been working on sorting, recording & starting to package the cards that I received for Caring Hearts Card Drive. So far, I have recorded 8729 cards at my end. That's more than what I received last year!!

With Thanksgiving and all, we all still working hard on getting things tally and finalized. Hopefully by the end of this week, I should get all  the number from everyone and we can share all the details by early next week an of course, pick winners for the prizes. Please be patient as we all working on this ourselves.

Let me just say, that I have packaged about 6 boxes and hubby was saying it didn't look as if I am making a dent. Well, yeah, when  there's over 8000 cards covering your dining room, it'll take a while before you see a dent. But, I am making progress. :)

Well,  that's the update so far. Now, how about ending this post with a sweet card?

I just love this Top Dog set. You can use them to make holiday cards as well as everyday card. Can't go wrong with cute doggy set, especially for a doggy lover like myself. :)

Well peeps, that's all for today. May your November ends sweetly.

Christmas Delivery

Popping in to share another Christmas card. This should be my last card for Caring Hearts Card Drive. Yep, I am not just collecting. I like to contribute as well. ;)

I made this card using the sweet Crafter's Companion Moonbeam Meadow Santa's Delivery.

Crafter's Companion supplies: Moonbeam Meadow Santa's Delivery, Spectrum Noir: CG3, CR7,
CR8, CR10, CT3, CT4, FS5, FS7, IB2, IG1, IG4, IG8, TN1, TN4, Ranger Distress ink: Tumble Glass

Pretty classic image. But, hey it's Christmas, I need to at least make 1 card with Santa's image, right?

Christmas Love

I am seriously not ready for this weekend to be over. I wish today is Saturday instead of Sunday. Hah! So much to do, so little time.

Today, I want to share this sweet & super quick card that I made for Crafter's Companion. As I am still swimming in cards for Caring Hearts, I am short in time for everything else, till it's done. So, again, I am all for quick and easy. And, digi image to the rescue. :)

Crafter's Companion supplies: Moonbeam Meadow Christmas CD-ROM, sentiment from BebunniChristmas Angel,
Stardust Stickles

This card took me about 5 minutes to finish, once I picked and print the image. For a bit of festivity, I added glitter with Stardust Stickles to the mistletoe. I love the Moonbeam Meadow collection. They just have that sweetness on all their images.

Well folks, plenty of chores waiting, so that's all from me today. Cheers........

Merry Banner

Hi peeps. How's your Thanksgiving? We had a lovely get together at my SIL's place and a pretty quiet Black Friday. No, I didn't join the Black Friday craziness. LOL, I don't have the energy or the desire to battle the crowd.

Instead, I went to work for a short bit & also to catch the mail man so I can get Friday mail for Caring Hearts Card Drive. Once I got home, I pretty much spent the whole day just opening package, sorting through them, recording all the submissions and so on. By 10 pm, I was exhausted.

Poor hubby, I don't know how many times he got the look from me for trying to talk to me while I am counting.

Well, anyway, I want to share this card that I made for fun. If last time I made a window card with Christmas fish banner (you can check it out HERE), this time I made one for the doggy lover with bone and heart banner.

And, for extra fun bits, I even string some beads in between the banner. I love making fun cards like this.

Hah... this card capture my readiness to decorate our Christmas trees. Yes, trees. I love having small trees around the house. We're going to try to put up our big tree again and see how the doggies react to it. Am hoping that they won't think it's a real tree. ;)

I better get going. Have tons of thing to do still. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Holiday Cheer

Yay for long weekend! I am hoping that I can get a little rest sometime this weekend. Things been so crazy, I feel like I am always going 100 miles an hour.

Anyway, as we all gather with family and friends today (for those of us that celebrate Thanksgiving), we also want to challenge your creativity with a new & fun color challenge.

And, here's my card using this color combo.

Snowman in pink? Hey, why not? My snowman is not afraid of pink. Hah! Please check out MFT Challenge Blog to see what the team has created for this challenge.

And, happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate Thanksgiving. May your day be filled with blessings, lovely time with your family & friends and let us all count our blessings, even the small ones as often those small blessings are what makes our life rich. Have a blessed Thanksgiving day, my friend.

Wishing You Blessings

Hi peeps! I hope today finds you staying at home & getting ready for Thanksgiving. As for me, I still have to go in to work, at least half a day. Fun, right? Blah...

Anyway, we have new fun sketch to inspire your creativity.

And, here's my interpretation of the sketch. Instead of feather, I used this cuties to create a fun fall scene that's perfect for Thanksgiving.

Hope you'll play along. Check out the beautiful projects the team has created for this challenge, HERE. Can't wait to see your creations!

Puggy Love & Caring Hearts

Hi peeps! I feel so lucky that recently there's 2 companies that releasing set with Pug on it. You know... it's not like I am partial toward them or anything like that. Hah!!

Being momma to 2 pugs and a mutt, means the world to me. My doggies are my babies. They bring us so much joy and laughter with their personality. So, anyway, as you can probably figure out, I can't resist the chance to build up  my pug related stash. After all, I know quite a few people that would love a card or tag with pug on it.

For today, I am sharing this tag I made using the pug from Pretty Pink Posh Holiday Pals Stamp set. Dude... curly tail got me every time. :)

And, quick reminder, if you want to mail out your cards for Caring Hearts Card Drive, please do so. I will keep an eye for them. At my end, I have received over 4600 cards and on Tina's end, am pretty sure she has received the same amount or more. I am humbled and so thankful for all your support for the card drive.

Every year, I am always worried we won't get enough card and every year, you showed me the generosity of paper crafter all around the world. And, guess what?? Next year, we'll expand to UK!!! Whoopie!! I have found a gal who's willing to collect and represent Caring Hearts in UK. I am so darn excited!

Well, that's all from me today. I am drowning in cards, but hey... it's an amazing problem to have. I have bandage ready to protect my fingers from all t he paper cuts and hubby already volunteer to step in and help me pack (I think he wants to have our dining table back, hah!!). Have a blessed day!

SPD Color Challenge # 7

Hi peeps! Welcome to the last week of November. I am super happy for this week as it's short work week. Not that I have time to lounge around. This long weekend, will give me a chance to pack for Caring Hearts Card Drive. I mean, as of today there's over 3500 cards on our dining table!!

And, if you just send in your cards this week, don't worry, I will wait and keep an eye for your package. No cards go unused!! :)

Now, how about more holiday card inspiration? We have the latest color challenge from SugarPea Designs. Gorgeous colors to play with.

For my card, I definitely go with the lighter, brighter tone. And, I can't help but reaching out to this oldie but goodie Hot Diggity Dog set and combine it with the hat from the elf from Merry Makers. I just did partial stamping and stamped the hat right on the pup's head to turn this pup into Christmas pup! :)

I hope you will play along with us. Who knows, you could be the lucky one to win gift certificate to
the store. Thanks for swinging by here, peeps!

'Tis The Season To Be Jolly

Oh weekend... How do I love you! And for sure, I can't wait for the coming long weekend next week. I need the extra day off desperately. Between work, the remodeling, card drive, & normal household stuff, day off just sounds soooo good. ;)

For today, while I am stuck in my room with 3 dogs while we have people working in the house, I am going to try to somewhat organized my room, like from shipwreck level to at least, hey I can see my desk a bit. Hoping nothing will distract me. Hey... squirrel!!

Oh yeah, I also supposed to pick pictures for our dining room wall. Been planning that over a month. So much to do so little time.

However, I do have the time to share this cuties from the latest Stacey Yacula's collection for Purple Onion Designs. Aren't they just so cute??!

This, makes me want to get scarf for all my dogs and have them posed for a Christmas card picture. Wonder how long it will take to get them co-operate with their mommy crazy idea. Hubby would just say, I am  trying for the impossible.

Well, peeps, that's all for this rainy day. Enjoy your weekend!

Christmas Fish Banner

This day, I think we all could do with more silly stuff. I was just playing around and I thought from a cat point of view, a fish banner would be what they call beautiful. Hah!

In my imagination, this cutie pie cat want to decorate his crib a bit to make it more festive. So, he thought... hey, I can make fish banner and hang it on my wall. And.... it came out like this!

I love the way this card turned out. It's kind of silly and I hope it will make whoever get it smiling and grinning. Now, I should make one for the doggies. Stay tune! And, here's one more look at the card with the banner swinging. Thanks for swinging by here, peeps!
