Handmade Holidays

Hello. I am back with more cards featuring Spellbinders latest release, this time highlighting the Handmade Holidays collection. First up is my card showcasing Delivering Joy Sleigh Etched Dies.

Am keeping it clean and simple with soft coloring except for the pop of red for the sleigh. For the sentiment I used Handmade Sentiments set and finish the card by adding some enamel drops.

For my next card, as usual, I ended up with non traditional color combination to showcase Winter Rose Background Press Plate.  I used the press plate for hot foiling on this card and am happy that the roses foiled perfectly for this card.

Once the foiling done, colored the image with Copic markers. At first, I was going to leave the background white just the way it is. Bu then, that's my comfort zone, so I decided to step out and colored the background with gray. Almost went with black, but too chicken to try it and I don't want to waste the whole thing. Honestly, am not quite sure how I feel about the gray. I think it's okay, but that's about it. Won't know till I try it, right?

That's all I have for today. Hope you enjoy today's cards and my wish for you may something good happened to you today that makes your heart smile. Till next time, friends.

Pug Love

Hi friends. I am back from my visiting my family in Jakarta. It was the shortest visit I ever had, due to work schedule. I am not complaining though as I am very grateful that I ge tto accompany my mom home and able to visit with my siblings even if it's only for a week. Oh, and of course, I got sick during the trip, too. As usual, the longe flight mixed with being busy as soon as I arrived. I always try to soak in meeting family & friends that I don't get to see throughout the years and  as a result, I always get sick when I went home. :)

Anyway, to combat my sadness of saying bye to my family, I dive right in back to crafting & keep myself busy. Lucky for me, this month new release from Spellbinders is full of cuteness. Am thrilled to share my projects featuring Bibi Cameron's latest sets for Spellbinders, Big Pug Etched Dies set & Big Cat Etched Dies set.

If you have followed my blog for a long time, then you should know I am a die hard Pug lover. After all most of my fur babies are Pugs. So, needless to say when I saw this set, I was like please, please, please let me have it. Yep, this is a must have. In my opinion this is the best Pug set I've ever seen in the card making market so far.

So, my first card was inspired by the candle hat I have for my Pug. Hubby on the other hand said it reminded him of Elton John, which we both love.

Had to add some sparkles to the glasses of course. I love ,love, love  Big Pug Etched Dies set so much that I ended up making 3 cards with it right away. My second card reminds me of Pug LouLou that I followed on Instagram. Yea, more than half of the account I follow on IG are Pugs or animal related.

For my card above, I simply accessorize the Pug with flower crown. Same with the card below, except below instead of a Pug card, I made a Bulldog card. I do have special love for flat nose breed, though I love my long nose girl as well. My girl, Abby is a mutt and she has long nose, but I love her just as much.

Wanna know how much I love Pugs? Besides the thousand pics of my Pugs on my phone and the various Pug collection I have at home, check out below, my stamp for the back of my card. Yep, I have this specially made by Bossy Joscie last year.

And, even though I don't have a cat and I really doubt I'll ever have a cat (though I am 100% love watching cat videos), I enjoyed making the card below just as much. I mean, Bibi really knock it out with her stes this month. I paired the Big Cat Etched Dies se with Cats & Pugs Accessory Dies set.

Phew...I feel like I pack lots of excitement on this post. I just LOVE Pugs and I am animal lovers, so today's sets just make me so happy. I hope somehow, someway this post inspire you to create and get crafty. Would love to hear your thoughts on these sets and thank you for stopping by. Cheers....

Spellbinders Out & About

Ack, I had this post scheduled t go up while I was gone and that didn't happened. So, here we go. I made a few cards using Spellbinders sets before I left on my trip to visit my family in Jakarta.

First up is the card I made using Spellbinders Glimmering Buttercup Glimmer Plate & Stencils Bundle. & Thank You Etched Dies.

I simply hot foiled teh flower and colored it using the coordinating stencil. Finished by adding the sentiment. Pretty easy & straightforward. :) The next card, I paired an older embossing set that I think is just timeless & I used it quote often, the Leafy 3D Embossing folder with the Hello Stitched Dies that was part of  Spellbinders June release.

And, last but not least, a clean and simple card featuring Embossing Club Kit (Hydrangea Bloom). and Stitched Thank You & For You Etched Dies.

Now, I am back at home & been busy crafting. So stay tune as I have much more projects to share in the coming days. May your weeks started off wonderfully.

Nature's Botanical Garden

Hi peeps. As this post goes up, I'll be on my way back from visiting my family in Jakarta. A week with my family is definitely way too short, but am also looking forward to being home with hubby and the pups.

Today, I am featuring the new release from Spellbinders Nature Botanical Garden collection. First up is the Flowering Quince set. I decided to use this set to decorate the band that hold the gate card below.

I used white cardstock for the whole thing and then once I die cut all the pieces I colored them with Copic markers. Put all the flowers aside once they're all assembled. For the card's gate, I cut 2 strip of panel and embossed it with Leafy 3D Embossing folder, Colored the embossed part with Copic markers and I also ink blend green and blue ink on the panel. Adhere the panel to card base. Trim a piece a vellum strip and wrap around the card. Arrange the leaves and flowers on the vellum strip. For the sentiment I used the many extra strips I have from Always and Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate.

For the next card, am featuring Azalea & Garden Pot set. At my office, our Azalea always make stunning display in the spring. Again, for the background I used Leafy 3D Embossing folder and this time I colored it with gray marker.

For the sentiment, I letter press the sentiment from Nature Botanical Garden Sentiment set and die cut the sentiment before adhering it to the card. I love the way both cards turned out. Hah... my mom asked me how am I going to mail these cards. I told her that these are the kind of cards that I hand delivered. So, yep, I save these cards for my local friends. :)

Well peeps, that's all from today. Pray for safe travel for me. Till next time as I have lots of projects to share this month. Cheers....

Thinking of You Always

Today I am sharing this quick card that I made using Spellbinders Timeless Duo Etched DiesSpellbinders Timeless Duo Etched Dies.

I thought it's pretty neat how the scroll design can be put together to create elegant, elaborate design or you can also use each by itself for simpler look. Here, I use both designs to frame the sentiment from Always You Timeless Sentiment. Finish with a  butterfly from previous release that I have laying around. In case you're looking for pretty butterflies sticker, Spellbinders has quite a few selection, but my favorite are Summer Day Butterflies and Sunset Butterflies.

That's all I have for today. Stay tune for more Spellbinders goodness. :)

Spellbinders' Floral For You

Hi there. Today I am sharing a couple projects featuring a set from Spellbinders Sealed 3 D Botanical collection, called Floral For You.

For the card above, I start with plain white cardstock and added some ink blending before die-cutting it. Once the die cut done, then I did the embossing. I found this to be better than doing the embossing first, which kind of flatten the embossing part a bit. By doing the die cut first, it allowed me to keep the raised image crisp. Then simply adhere the arch panel to card base and finish with sentiment from Always and Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate. I have made a bunch of sentiment from this set and always have them handy.

Next, another card using same set and simply changing the color scheme. For this card the hot foiled sentiment is from my favorite sentiment set, More Sentiments.

I know I haven't been blogging as much. I do share more cards on Instagram. If you'd like to follow me on Instagram, you can find me under WIRIANTA. Thank you so much for stopping by here and may your week starts off in a wonderful way.

Have A Sweet Day

Hi peeps. Phew, May seems to fly by past me. My mom is visiting from Indonesia and mid May my aunt also came to spend some quality time with my mom. So, crafting is taking a back seat a bit this past month and this month. On weekend though, I still try to squeeze in some crafting time. And, today, am popping in to share this card that I completed this past weekend using Spellbinders' June Stitching Die Club card.

I love, love the way this card turned out. Making that waffle pattern on the ice cream cone is so fun. And the gradient stitching on the ice cream? I am patting myself on the back for it. Hah! I used white cardstock for all the die cutting and then ink blended the colors on it. Followed by the stitching. For the panel, I used the Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangle Etched Dies Venise Lace. It's definitely one of my favorite frame dies. Finished the card by adding the sentiment and some sequins.

I hope you enjoy today's card and that in my own little way it inspire you to squeeze in some crafty time. Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

Blow Bubbles

Hi friends. I honestly haven't been blogging or crafting too  much lately as things just been a bit busy. Today, I want to pop in real quick to share this card I made using Stampendous Pop! Cling Rubber Stamp Stampendous Pop! Cling Rubber Stamp.

Pretty straight forward card. I start by stamping the image on the cardstock panel and then colored it Copic markers. NExt, I ink blended the top and bottom edges of the panel before doing the frame die cut using Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangle Etched Dies Venise Lace. Finished by adding the sentiment.

Hope your day be a good one friends. Till next time.

Thank You Pineapple

Hi friends. Happy May! Sorry that I haven't been blogging as much. I currently have my mom visiting all the way from Indonesia and am focusing on spending time with her as this kind of moment are rare and few in between.

However, today, am popping in to share my Spellbinders' May Stitching Die Club card.

This pineapple is just gorgeous and yep, never thought I'd ever say that about a pineapple. Hah... but the stitching definitely add such a special touch to the pineapple. For the background of the card I used Leafy 3D Embossing folder, which is a classic and I feel like it can be used for many occasions. Once I am done with the embossing, I splatter some gold ink on it. Let dry and then adhere the stitched pineapple.

For the sentiment I used one of the sentiment All You Need Glimmer Sentiment set. And finish by adding some rhinestones.

Hope you enjoy today's card and thank you for stopping  by here.

Sincere Sentiments

Hi peeps. Am popping in to do quick share os these cards that I made a while back, but haven't share it here on blog land.

Also, before I forget, if you're a fan of Spellbinders' dies, they're having a monstrous die sales at the moment. Check it out HERE to take advantage of the sales (and if you kindly click through my blog, I do get small commissions from the sales and of course, at no cost to you).

Back to the card, I went back to my clean and simple root and did these cards below using Stampendous' Sincere Sentiments set.

Sometimes I forgot how much I love clean and simple style and these cards totally reminded me why I love doing CAS card. All those white space just make me happy. :)

On the next card, I just made a little change and stamped teh image on colored cardstock instead and frame the image by adding the dotted frame.

Often less is more, right? Have a blessed day everyone!

All The Sentiments

Hi friends. Today, I hope to bring smile and joy to you through my cards. First up is this card featuring Dancin' Birthday Dragon from Spellbinders paired with the newly released Stampendous All The Sentiments stamp & die set.

I die cut all the dragon pieces from white cardstock (except for the eyes and claws) and ink blending various colors on the. Piece them all together. On this card, I actually stamped the small sentiment first after measuring that I have enough opening for the cursive happy word. Stamp and die cut the cursive word. Adhere the dragon head with foam adhesive and leave the rest of the body dangling, so the body can swing. Here's my confession.... Only after all these done that I realized I want to add some shading on the background and am too lazy to undo the sentiment, so I ended up adding the shading above it.

I fix that booboo on the card below. Here, I actually added the shading before I adhere the word happy. For variation, I decided to use Dancin' Birthday Monster Etched Dies set. I adore this li'l monster.

2 fun interactive cards. These cards makes me smile and I hope somehow in a small way they also makes you smile & brighten your day. Till next time... :)

Glimmering Buttercups

Hi there. As fans of hot foiling, I am excited that I get to play with the new Spellbinders Glimmering Buttercup Glimmer Plate & Stencils Bundle. They really knock it out of the park with the new Glimmering Flower collection. I want them all!

For my 1st card I hot foiled the flower using Copper hot foil roll. Then colored the image with various inks using the stencil that came with the bundle. Finish by adding sentiment from More Sentiments set hot foiled with Mini Rainbow Stripe hot foil roll.

For my  next card I went with pink and orange tone for the flowers and hot foiled the image with Matte Gold, which is one of my all time favorite hot foil roll to use. It just has such an elegant feeling to it.

Here's  close up look to show the gold shimmering under the light.

I hope you enjoy today's inspiration. As this post goes up, I will be in Japan with hubby chasing the cherry blossoms. If you'd like to see my travel adventure as well, you can follow me on Instagram under WIRIANTA. I don't have separate account for personal or card making, it's all in one. Just For Fun

Hi friends. This year, I definitely been making more cards for fun and not for assignment. I am making a conscious effort to use sets that I bought but haven't use or rarely use. Considering how much I spent in crafting goodies, I feel like I should actually us them instead of just collecting them. Hah!!

Today I want to share a few cards. For this first card, am using The Greetery Leaves All Around stencil with sentiment from Verve Stamps (they closed their door a few years ago, but they used to be one of my favorite company). I love Irish Blessings sentiment. For me they're just such a nice wishes to send or to say to your loved ones.

For the next two cards,  I used Pinkfresh Studios Berries & Blossoms set and again sentiment from Verve Stamps set. This sentiment set is part of my must keep for as long as possible. :)

I have shared the last 2 cards on my Instagram, but then I realized I haven't share much cards on my blog, so might as well post them here as well. I hope you enjoy these cards and my hope is somehow, some way in my little way I can help inspire you to keep creating. Thanks for stopping by here. Till next time.

Spellbinders' March Stitched Die

Hi there creative peeps. Happy March. I want to pop in today to share my Spellbinders' March Stitching Die Club card. Spellbinders has lots of kits to choose from, so you have plenty of options. This month's stitched die kit is beautiful and can be used for so many occasions. From birthday to just thinking of you or on my case I think this be great for my niece who's been studying hard to pass her exams and I just want to let her know I am proud of her.

As a book lover myself, this set reminds me so much of the beauty of real books. Not the digital kind. I love digital book, but there's something about touching those pages. Anyway this card is pretty straight forward. Die cut the pieces, add the stitching and then simply arrange all the pieces. Finish with sentiment from Always and Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate.

And, I chose the dark background to make the pastel colors of the book, the teacup and the flowers popped. I hope you enjoy today's inspiration and as always may something good happen to you today that make you smile and fill you heart with gratitude.

Monster & Dinosaur

It's been a long while since I play with fun, cute monster stuff. When I saw these monsters from Spellbinders, I knew I need to have them. I mean they're ridiculously cute! Here are some of the cards I made. The first 2 cards are using the Dancin' Birthday Monster Etched Dies set.

And, the best part? Their legs can swing side to side. There's little opening on top of the legs where I can put a small piece of foam adhesive (which hidden behind the monster body) and since there's no adhesive on the leg, the legs can move freely around the foam adhesive.

I just love how they're turned out. Like candy cute monster. The color reminds me of cotton candy. Hah!

For the next batch, I am showcasing Birthday Dinosaur Etched Dies. I think this would make such cute birthday cards for kids.

To add a bit more festivities, I decided to use rainbow hot foil for the sentiment.

I hope you enjoy today's cards. Wherever you are I wish that may today something good happen to you that makes you smile.

Queen Anne's Lace

Hi there. I am popping in today to share this card I made using Spellbinders Queen Anne's Lace & Ladybugs Etched die set.

I have to admit, at first I feel a bit apprehensive about this set because it seems like it's difficult, but thank goodness I was wrong. Since I've been into lilies a lot lately, I decided to paired it with the lilies from Oriental Lily and Wellies from Garden Club by Susan Tierney-Cockburn. I think the yellow lilies paired really well with the navy background.

This card definitely not for mailing. I do however love to tuck in this kind of 3D card inside a gift bag. I think it will brighten the day of whoever receiving it. Stay tune for simple but fun cards that's the opposite of this 3D beauty. Till next time.

The Ton 9th Anniversary Release

I still can remember when I got invited to join The Ton design team 8  years ago. Right about when  they're about to celebrate their 1st anniversary.  I was so excited because I love their gorgeous flower sets and am grateful that as we celebrated The Ton 9th anniversary I am still part of the team. And, I can honestly say I still have most of their sets because for me, their flower sets are just gorgeous and I just can't part with them.

To celebrate this anniversary, the Ton is releasing some fun sets and I am showcasing a few of the new sets. First up is my card featuring Postage Party Die and Postage Sunflower Stencil.

I die cut the postage  background and then adding the sunflowers using the Postage Sunflower Stencil. Put aside. Directly on the card base I used the Postage Stripes Stencil to do the border. Once finish, I adhere the Sunflower postage panel to the card base. Stamp the sentiment and the postage mark from Not A Bill set .

Next, am showcasing the Sweet Cherry Blossom stencil and Sweet Cherry Blossom Coordinating die.

This card pretty straight forward. For the background panel, I embossed it using Single Plaid Coverplate Die. Then, I inked up the stencil, die cut it and then adhere to the card base. Finish by adding sentiment from Rose Labels set and Soft Pink Gem Rhinestones.

That's all I have for today. Please stop by The Ton blog and teammates blogs for more inspirations from this release. Thank you for stopping by here.

XO Monogram Cards

Hi peeps. One of my favorite card maker is Yana Smakula and my cards today are inspired by her creations HERE. For me, her cards always so eye catching, so inspired by her monogram cards, I created the cards below showcasing more of Spellbinders Every Occasion Floral Alphabet.

First up is the Floral X

For this one, I used white ink pad for the press. Then since the result only soft white and I want it to pop more, I decided to do white embossing. The white embossing definitely make it popped more against the black background. Then, I decided to use my pastel to add some color. I simply rubbed the pastel chalk on the flowers and get this beautiful result. For the flower, I used Blooming Heart Large Die.

I really love the way this card turned out. Now, if my 1st card is bold, the next one I went with softer design, to showcase Floral O.

This time, for the flower I used Four Petal Thank You Floral Etched Die and finish the card by adding some mix size rhinestones.

I hope you enjoy today's cards and may you always find some times to do things that brings you joy.

Handmade Holidays

Hello. I am back with more cards featuring Spellbinders latest release, this time highlighting the Handmade Holidays collection. First up is...
