Birthday Cards Galore

Hi all. Today, I am sharing a few cards as I get to spent this past Sunday crafting away. The first couple cards featuring the newly released Spellbinders' Scrolled Punch & Pierce Plate-die from The Four Petal Collection. For both card, I paired it with Spellbinders' January Large Die Club Kit of the month

For the first card above, I used the Scrolled Punch & Pierce Plate-die on a piece of blue cardstock and I did some ink blending on the edges before adhering the whole panel to a brown cardstock. Then I die cut all the flower and leaves pieces, arrange and adhere all of them to the card. Finished by adding sentiment from  Yana's Sentiment Glimmer Hot Foil Plate,

For my next card, I repeated al the same steps, just changing the color scheme.

And for the sentiment I used one of the sentiment from Simon Hurley Butterfly Kisses set, which is a set I also used for the next card.

Am keeping it clean and simple for this card as I really want the beautiful butterfly to pop & shine.

There you go, the rare occasions I have 3 cards to sharer. Hah! That's all for me today. Hope you enjoy the cards. :)

Four Petal Blooms

Hi friend. Every month I am always excited when I get to share my project using Spellbinders' sets. This month is no exception. Today, I am featuring the new set Four Petal Bloom Reflection Etched Dies. I am so happy with the way  my card turned out.

As crafter, we find inspiration everywhere and we have a lost of crafter that we love. I have to say that Yana Smakula is probably is one of my top favorite card maker and I often inspired by her. I tend to shy away from dark color, until I saw her cards. She often use dark color cardstock and that really inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and do more card with dark color cardstock. And, I find myself actually loving dark color cardstock, especially when I get to combine it with soft color cardstock. I feel like it really make the color pops while still has a soft look to it, like this card.

For the background I used Dazzling Dots Embossing Folder. Then I die cut the flourishes from Four Petal Bloom Reflection Etched Dies twice and went to town creating the layers with various color cardstocks. Assembled all the pieces and finished by hot foiling sentiment from sentiment from More Sentiments Hot Foil set.

I hope you enjoy today's card & am hoping to have more free times to create more card with this set, cause I am in love with this set. Wishing you all a good, happy weekend. Cheers.

Spellbinders February Embossing & Glimmer Kit

Hi friend. I am back with more cards showcasing Spellbinders Club kit. I have another card showcasing Spellbinders Embossing Club Kit.

For this one, I ink blended various ink on the cardstock before running the panel through the embossing folder. Once that done, I trimmed the panel and adhere it to the card base. Next, I die cut branches and bird using Spellbinders' Sealed Birds Etched Dies. Adhere it to card base and finish by hot foiling sentiment using More Sentiments Hot Foil & Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments set.

I was on a roll, so I finished 2 cards using February Glimmer Club kit. Check out my post on Instagram to see the pretty glimmer on this tulip card.

I simply hot foiled the tulips on a panel of cardstock and keep the design clean and simple by not adding any color at all. Instead I added some cardstock strips for the pop of color. Thanks to my friend Alba, who told me how beautifully Yupo paper take hot foiling. Yep, the same Yupo paper that I used for alcohol ink.

For my next card, I di dte opposite & go all colorful.

And, yeah, I have so many patterned paper from my scrapbooking day that this is the rare time I used patterned paper. It will take me a long time to really h through those paper. 3 full drawers of them. Well peeps, that's all from me  today. Hope you enjoy today's cards and may your day be a wonderful one.

Spellbinders February Stitch Club Kit

Hi peeps. Happy February. Today I am showcasing Spellbinders' February Stitching Die Club kit and  Embossing Club Kit . And, they're really fun kits. I really love the way my card turned out

For the background panel, I embossed it with the embossing folder and then adhere it to the card base. Next, using various colored cardstock I die cut the flower and leaves pieces from the Stitched Die kit. Now, come the therapeutic part, the stitching. Hah! I just took my time & enjoy the process.  Once all the stitching done, arrange all the pieces on the card base. Some I adhere with glue and some with foam adhesive to create dimension.  I also added some rhinestone to the flower center. Finish by hot foiling sentiment from Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments set.

I don't usually use dark color, but I find myself loving them more and more nowadays. Well peeps that's all from me today and I wish you all a wonderful February filled with lots of love. <3
