SugarPea Designs Release Day

Hi peeps! Yay... the day finally here. Everything that you've seen from this week sneak peek is finally available in the store today.

For today as we celebrating the release, I am sharing a clean & simple card showcasing SugarCut Botanical Branches.

After die cutting the pieces, I did ink blending on the branches. Tip, leave the leaves inside the negative pieces to keep them in place while you do the ink blending. Otherwise the dainty pieces would get ripped or bent. Finished coloring, adhere a strip of patterned paper to the bottom of the card base and  then glue the leaves. Finish by stamping the sentiment and some enamel drops. This card totally make my heart sing.

Please check out what my teammates has created for today. And, feel free to leave comment along the way. Each comment give you opportunity to win a $50 Gift Voucher to SugarPea store. Please leave a comment on SugarPea blog as well. TWO lucky commenters will be randomly selected from the Sweet Peek Week comments to win a $50 Gift Voucher! Winners will be announced on their blog on Monday, May 3rd. Thank you for stopping by here. Happy Thursday!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week Day 4

Welcome to day 4 of SugarPea Sweet Peek week. We have more adorableness to share. For today, we're introducing a new set to add to our bear collection, called Hello Spring and a fabulous Spring Scene Builder Cover Plate, designed to provide you with all you need to quickly and easily create a delightful outdoor scene.

Here's my card featuring the sweet bear.

To start, I die cut the outdoor spring scene. Remove all the positive pieces and colored them with some ink blending. Once that done, I put everything back together and adhere it to a green cardstock panel.  Die cut the fence using the new Picket Fence dies. Stamp, color and die cut the bear, bird, & flower basket. Then arrange it all to create the scene. The bottom of the fence area looks a  bit empty, so I decided to add some tiny flowers that's part of the Spring Scene Builder Cover Plate and finish by stamping the sentiment. Adhere the whole panel to card base.

I sure love the bear series from SugarPea. You could use them for so many different occasion. Wants more inspiration? Check out what my teammates has created for today. Spellbinders Stained Glass Bouquet collection

Hi all. I am excited to share my 1st post for Spellbinders. I am so honored and had a pinch me moment when I got the invitation. For today, I am showcasing a couple beautiful sets from Stained Glass Bouquet Collection by Becca Feeken.

Let's get on with the first project, shall we? First up is my card using Deco Bloom Etched Dies. The moment I saw this set, I immediately I just love how elegant and classy this set look.

And, of course, in brainstorming on how to use this set in a way that's totally my kind of card, I went with soft color theme. I started by die-cutting the delicate frames and then coloring just some of the parts that are parts of the oval design with ink blending.

Once that done, I die-cut and colored the roses part with Copic markers and adhere to the card with foam adhesive. For the sentiment I used Yana's Special Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set from Yana's Blooming Birthday Collection and hot foil it with Speckled Aura. Then adhere the panel to
Raindrop Color Essentials Cardstock. Safe to say, with  my love for soft coloring, this soft blue cardstock has become one of my favorite cardstock. Am pretty delighted with the way this card turned out. As much as I love the intricate design, I was also a bit nervous & really hope that I can challenge myself to make a card that showcasing this gorgeous set while staying to my clean & simple style.

Now, for my next card, I went for the rainbow! I used Radiant Oval Etched Dies.

After die-cutting the oval ray, I pull out each section and colored them by doing ink blending. Once that done, I adhere the oval ray to the card base. Next, I die-cut the roses and adhere them to the card base with foam adhesive. Then colored all the positive pieces. For the sentiment, again I used Yana's Special Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set from Yana's Blooming Birthday Collection and hot foil it with Aura. Finished by adding some sequins.

Phew, it's been a while since I wrote quite a lengthy post. I hope you share my excitement on this new opportunity and sure hope you enjoy the cards. Thank you for stopping by here and I wish you all a beautiful Sunday. Cheers....

The Ton Spring 2021 Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton Spring release. We have loads of new fun stamp, dies & stencil sets and also we're releasing 19 new ink pads. I am super excited for this release and playing with the new sets like kids in candy store. Let's dive in to the projects right away, shall we?

First up, I am showcasing Baroque Frame Oval et and pair it with one of the flower from Grouped Fresh Carnations set.

I stamped the frame with Caribbean Turquoise and then die cut it with the matching Baroque Frame Oval Dies. Put it aside and next I stamped, heat embossed, watercolored and die cut the carnation. I decided to stick with clean & simple design to really showcase the beautiful design of the frame.
Adhere the frame and the flower both with foam adhesive. Finish by adding sentiment from previously released Easy Expressions set.

On to the next card.

For this card, I stamped and heat embossed the Mum Close Up cling set on a panel of cardstock. Colored it with Copic markers and once done, I adhere the panel to my card base. For added interest, I adhere a rectangle frame using. I used Rectangle A2 Frames Slim Borders Coverplate Die and  have a  bunch of this rectangle frame ready to go for future projects. For the sentiment I used the word Hugs from Grouped Fresh Daisies. Finished by adding some enamel drops.

Since, I watercolored this set with  metallic watercolor, it actually has pretty nice shimmer. Here on this pic you can see the shimmer more.

Last but not least, I am showcasing the Many Mums cling stamp.

For this card, I am using the smooshing technique. Basically I laid some watercolor on my glass work space, spritz it with water to get it wetter and then laid my watercolor cardstock on top of it. Let dry and then stamped the image. Next, I die cut it with the Scalloped A2 Nested dies and adhere the panel to the card base. Finished by adding the sentiment from Grouped Fresh Daisies.

There, 3 projects showcasing the new sets. I have more projects to share using the new sets and will share it during our Instagram hop. If you haven't follow me on Instagram, I'd love for you to do so. I do share more projects on Instagram. You can find me HERE.
