Hello Cupcake

Hi peeps. How's your week so far? Last weekend I had such an amazing weekend hanging out with some fabulous crafty friends and came home rejuvenated. Time with friends is good for the soul. But then.... I came down with  a cold. I rarely sick, so this was a surprise.

My throat was sore during the crafty retreat, but I thought it was because I talk too much. You know when 44 women gather together, there's lots of chatting!! Alas..., come Tuesday I was feverish and down.

Anyway, I do want to pop in today to share a card with you. I made this Purple Onion Designs cutie a while back and haven't share him, yet.

For this card, I used Hometown Bakery and Puddles the dog. Totally keeping it clean & simple. Just let the image shine on its own. I just love the white open space. :)

Well, since my head still swimming a bit, I keep this sweet & short. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I really appreciate it. Have a blessed Thursday, peeps.

A Fox & A Frog

Hi peep! Happy Saturday. Just want to pop in to share this two friends enjoying a bike ride on the weekend. :)

I like to have thank you card handy, so this is part of building my thank you card stash. I used Purple Onion Designs Stacy Yacula - Free Spirits. I tend to build up a scene when I used POD stamps, but this time I decided to keep it clean and simple and only use 1 stamp (besides the sentiment stamp) and anchor it on a couple washi tape.

Hah... I need to get my washi tape some use. It's amazing ho much crafty goodies that just sitting in my drawers.

Well peeps, that's all for today. May your weekend be a fantastic one. Cheers....

Hello From A Couple Bunnies

Hi peeps! I am popping into share this card that I made for Purple Onion Designs (POD). It's been a while since I share a card using any of POD stamps and I really should do more since I do love their stamps.

Last night, I stamped a bunch of their images and since this weekend I'll be having a crafty get together I am hoping I will get to finish a few POD cards. :)

For this card I colored the background with distress oxide ink and played with WillaChloe (the bunny with flower). I was sorting through the images I have and I was delighted when I realized these 2 bunnies match. It looks as if Chloe was handing Willa a flower. Sweet scene, right? I sure do love bunnies.

Busy day for me, so that's all for today. May your Wednesday be a sweet one as well. Cheers....

Introducing Happy Trails

Hi peeps! Today, we're introducing the newest Stacey Yacula collections for Purple Onion Designs. All, I can say they're cuteness overload!

The Happy Trails collection consist of 33 individual stamps, Once Upon A Time collection consist of 4 stamps and there's a small set called "On the Go Set".

My 1st card is showcasing Book Plate from Once Upon A Time collection.

I was going to adhere this to one of my book actually, but I realized I have packed all my books for our upcoming move. I basically start packing all the non-essential, so I don't have to rush when moving time comes. So, I'm just showing the book plate all colored up.

I think this would be a fun coloring activity to do with your kids and  they could use it to label their own book. What do you think?

Next up is card I made using T-Bird from the Happy Trail collection.

This li'l bear is so fun to color!! I'm actually sending this to  my cousin who just graduate from Notre Dame and her goal is to become a pilot. I think she'll love this card.

Now, all the stamps are available today. And, for a limited time till June 11, 2017 Purple Onion Designs offering special discount, a little over 30% when you buy the complete collection.

Happy Trails collection  are available for $120.00 (33 individual stamps)
Once Upon A Time collection are available for $15.00 (4 stamps)

Please note that the two sentiment sets "Great News Sentiment Set" and the "Journey Sentiment Set" are separate coordinating stamp sets and not part of the complete collection.

Well peeps, that's all from me today. Hope this month starts off great for you. Cheers....

Katy's Kindness Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Kindness Campaign Card Drive and blog hop. The Katy M. Murphy Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Katy's mom Amiee. Katy had a congenital heart defect and lost her life at the tender age of 6. Amiee started the Foundation to honor her daughter's memory.

The Katy M. Murphy Foundation would like to start sending out Kindness Kits to families that are on similar journey as Katy. The purpose of a Katy's Kindness Kit is to share a bit of happiness with a child, and their families, that are stuck in the hospital. Each kit will contain items that brought Katy happiness during her many hospitalizations and will be delivered to patients, inpatient, at Boston Children's Hospital specifically on the cardiac floors.

We would like to add a handmade card to each kit and that is where YOU come in. We will need many cards and are turning to the card making community for help.

Today we are kicking off the card drive with a blog hop. We are hoping that all of you will help us by sending in cards to help complete Katy's Kindness Kits. The foundation will be delivering kits to the hospital to help make the children and their families stay at the hospital easier, or kinder if you will.

All the details for the card drive can be found HERE, as well as a list of AMAZING sponsors who have offered up some phenomenal prizes to be raffled off to those who submit cards. Please read the rules carefully. The card drive will run from February 14th to April 15th, 2017.

I made this sweet card using Purple Onion Designs stamp just for this hop:

I hope many of you will help and participate by sending in cards. As card maker, we have lots of handmade cards in our stash, what better way than putting them for good use to brighten someone's day, right?
Now, let's get on with the hop. Here is the list of participating blogs. Thank you for stopping by here and may your day be a blessed one filled with lots of love.

Celebrate The Season

Hi peeps. Quick post. I have one more card featuring the new Stacey Yacula stamp from Purple Onion Designs. Introducing Hope the bunny who loves sledding!

For the background, I used Snow Day Hill. I simply add some shading to the hill using Copic and of course, a little glitter wouldn't hurt, right? I guess, I have to add sledding to my bucket list of things to try out. Yep, I have never been sledding in my whole life. Now, if only I can convince hubby to take me to a place where it's snowing. ;)

As I said, short one. May your Tuesday be a blessed one.

Today, I am sharing one of the card I made using this collection. I used Nutmeg - Autumn Owl to create this fun fall celebration card.

I seriously love Stacey Yacula's designs. I followed her on Instagram and she just has the cutest & cozy designs.

Another reason, I have to celebrate, hubby and I are getting closer to reaching our dream of building our own home. We work for construction company and we finally got a spot for our townhome. We're submitting the plan for permit and cross fingers before the end of the year we'll break ground!! We're pretty darn excited for this as once our house done, it means we no longer have to do long commute from the suburb.

And, yay for cooler weather! We finally have fall weather here in Houston. Happy Friday, y'all!

Elliot & Sprout

Hi peeps! How's thing going. It's been quiet at my end. I know. My blog is functioning at minimum level at the moment while life happens. It's so rare for me to have my mom here with me, so I am making sure I spend lots of time with her.

We do things that I normally do by myself. Like going shopping, watch animation movie (you can bet my mom and I are looking forward to see Finding Dory), watch Law & Order, CSI together. You know, little stuff, that is just nice to be able to share it with my mom. I miss doing things with her and whenever she's here it's like making up for what I am missing.

So,  yeah, other stuff get to be put aside for a bit. Time with my mom is precious & I am so grateful that I am blessed with great relationship with my mom. She is my rock. :)

Well, before this month disappear, I just want to pop into share another Purple Onion Designs card.

For this card, I used Elliot, Garden Bushes, and Sprout from Garden Bugs set. Elliot, the cute mouse is so darn adorable in my opinion. I also love Sprout the snail. I am not sure why, but I always love cute snail stamps.

And, just a reminder that today is the last day to take advantage of the special offer for the entire Stacey Yacula's Garden Blooms collection, which contains 34 new images within a total of 25 stamps/sets. The entire collection can be purchased for $90.00 .

That's all from me today. May you have a blessed Memorial Day and thank you to all of those who protect and service our country and our freedom.

Graduation Weekend

Hi peeps! Happy Monday. Phew... This weekend sure flew by fast. On Friday, between work and all, we sneak out to see my niece receiving her honor awards. She graduated magna cum laude and received a few scholarships. This girl is proof that there's good teenager. She's talented (she used to sing for the Houston opera & in her school choir), smart, polite & most important, she's kind. Yep, we are so proud of her. Her parents really did a wonderful job in raising her.

Then on Saturday, my mom and I went to an event called Puppies for Breakfast which is a fundraising event for local rescues in Houston. We only took Eli with us, because it would be impossible for us to take all 3 dogs without going crazy. Afterward, hubby took Eli home while my mom & I went to the outlet for some retail therapy. Hah! That was a good day!

Sunday, we attended our niece graduation ceremony & party. I have to say it kind of did make me feel old. Our niece, Maddy really hold a special place in my heart, because she's the one who got all excited when hubby and I first dating & when we got engaged. Back then, she was all shy & definitely shorter than me. Can't say that anymore. She's no longer shy and way taller than me now. Here's a pic from her graduation party. And, I am sure glad that my mom is here to celebrate along with us.

Anyhoo... on to card. Last week, Purple Onion Designs released Stacey Yacula's Garden Blooms collection, which contains 34 new images within a total of 25 stamps/sets. And, until May 30th the entire collection can be purchased for $90.00 .

Here's my card featuring Oliver from the Garden Blooms collection.

I combined him with some stamps from previous releases. He's adorable, right with the snazzy hat on him?!

Well peeps, that's all from me on this fine day. May your weeks starts off wonderfully. Cheers.

Hi peeps! I am excited to share the latest collection from Purple Onion Designs featuring Stacey Yacula's designs that are available in the store starting today. This cute collection is called Garden Blooms and the stamps are perfect for the warmer weather months. The adorable critters in this collection can really be used year round too. There is an introductory special set price for a limited time. The entire collection can be purchased for $90.00 until May 30th.

For my 1st card, I am using Elliot, Chip & Wild Flowers from Garden Bloom collection along with the new Celebrate sentiment.

Hah... as always, I love stacking my critters. Literally, if you go back and see my cards from when I first started blogging, you'll see me stacking the critters quite often. I just think they looks cute this way. ;)

Next... Petal the turtle! I loooveee turtle. In fact, I love it so much that I got myself a small tattoo of turtle when I was in Hawaii a few years back. My one and only tattoo. Well, I was thinking of getting a pug one someday, but so far hubby is convincing me the real pug is cuter.

Back to card, here's my triple turtle.

How cute is the smile on this turtle?? Come to think of it, I actually have a small stuff animal turtle that has a smile like this. Like I said, I love me some turtle.

Anyhooo...., I hope you enjoy my projects showcasing the Garden Blooms collection. All the stamps are available at Purple Onion Design Store starting today. Thank you for stopping by here.

Oh yes... today, I am also up on The Ton blog. Check it out, will you. Cheers,

A Bunny & A Duck

Hi peeps. Looks like my blog is a bit neglected this past week, isn't it? I wasn't much in the mood to create last week. Then on Thursday evening, my puppies decided to make our evening more exciting by getting into a fight when someone knocked on the door.

Needless to say, I went from chillin' on the sofa into a ninja trying to stop the fight. With pug, I always have to be careful with their eyes. So, even though I know that I shouldn't put  my hand in between, I did that as I tried to keep the teeth away from the eyes and yep, my pinky got a couple big puncture and a couple small ones.

So, my plan of crafting that night went out the window as  my finger was swollen and my whole hand throbbing all night long. Finally on Sunday, my finger kind of back to normal. Still a bit swollen, but at least my hand stop throbbing and I can hold things with my left hand with no pain. I did a couple simple scrapbook page. Yay, me. :)

Anyway, I am back today to share this card I made for fun using Purple Onion Designs stamps and MFT Peek A Boo Wonky Window dies.

I love duck stamp. I think they are just so cute & sweet. To make it a bit  more festive, since it's a birthday card, I added some sequins from The Ton Stamps. 3 brands in 1 card! It's fun to mix and match from variety of brands, don't you think?

Well, that's all from me today. May your week starts off wonderfully.

'Tis The Season To Be Jolly

Oh weekend... How do I love you! And for sure, I can't wait for the coming long weekend next week. I need the extra day off desperately. Between work, the remodeling, card drive, & normal household stuff, day off just sounds soooo good. ;)

For today, while I am stuck in my room with 3 dogs while we have people working in the house, I am going to try to somewhat organized my room, like from shipwreck level to at least, hey I can see my desk a bit. Hoping nothing will distract me. Hey... squirrel!!

Oh yeah, I also supposed to pick pictures for our dining room wall. Been planning that over a month. So much to do so little time.

However, I do have the time to share this cuties from the latest Stacey Yacula's collection for Purple Onion Designs. Aren't they just so cute??!

This, makes me want to get scarf for all my dogs and have them posed for a Christmas card picture. Wonder how long it will take to get them co-operate with their mommy crazy idea. Hubby would just say, I am  trying for the impossible.

Well, peeps, that's all for this rainy day. Enjoy your weekend!
