SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 5

This is it peeps. Welcome to day 5 also known as release day for SugarPea Designs Sweet Peeks week. Last but not least, we're introducing SugarCut Die - Floral Pocket Tag and Christmas Characters.

Now, you know how I feel about flowers, right? I loveee flowers. So, needless to say for today's card I am showcasing SugarCut Die - Floral Pocket Tag.

I started by die-cutting all the flower elements out of white cardstock and then colored all of them. Now, come to think of it, if I follow the season, I should have colored them in fall theme. But, that's not how my mind works. What color combo I used really depends on my mood when I created, so spring color it is. ;)

Then I die cut the pocket tag. Using the same dies, I do partial cut, so I can get a tag matching the pocket and just trim the sides a teeny weeny bit, so the tag can slide in and out the pocket easily. You can guess what  make this card super fun in my book? Um, yeah, you can pull out the tag and use it as book mark. At least, that's what came up to my mind what to do with the pretty tag.

I created the background using Geo Snowflake Stencil.

I hope you enjoy our sneak peeks throughout this week and I sure hope you're as excited as I do over this month amazing releases. Have a blessed Friday all.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 4

We're getting there peeps. We're mid way to SugarPea Design release day. For today we are introducing Sweet As Pie, Cutie Pie, Leaf Cover Plate (please note all links will go live on release day)

When I saw the Leaf Cover Plate, it was love at first sight. I just love the detailed cut out of the leaves.

I colored the panel with various distress oxide ink pads before I run it through my Cuttlebug (what??? Yes, I still have the oldie but goodie manual die cut machine). Then adhere it to the card base. Next, I stamped, colored an die cut the cute bear from Hey Winter set that we introduced the day before. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a vellum and punch it out before adding it to the card.

Now, giveaway time. How would you like to win Sweet As Pie set? Simply leave a comment on SugarPea blog. And, for extra entries, check out the DT blogs and leave comment along the way. Thank you all for stopping by here. One more day to release day!!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 3

Woohoo.... We're mid way to SugarPea Designs holiday release day. Today we are introducing Christmas Car, Joy Word With Shadow, Merry Word With Shadow, and Oh So Jolly Sentiments.

The Christmas car die is just so cute & really this whole card comes together pretty quick. Diecutting the car from colored cardstock definitely save time from having to color it. :)

Using Falling Snow Stencil, I stenciled the background and then simply adhere the car, add shadow to the Christmas tree and attached it with foam adhesive to make it pop a bit. Finished by stamping the sentiment from Oh So Jolly Sentiments and add a strip of patterned paper on the bottom. Quick & simple. This is definitely one of those card that you could for for mass production.

Want to join today's giveaway? Please make sure you swing by SugarPea Blog and leave a comment there. Then for additional entries, check out what the team has created and also leave comment along the way. The team has worked hard for this release and I hope you enjoy everyone's creation. Thank you all for stopping by here. Happy hump day! Cheers....

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 2

Hi y'all and welcome to day 2 of SugarPea Designs sweet peek week. We have more cuteness & fun products to share and I for one adore today's cutenesss. :)

Today we're introducing Hey Winter, Falling Snow Stencil, Geo Snowflake Stencil (all link will go live on release day). For my project today I only used 2 of the 3 sets. Stay tune for a super sparkly project using the Geo Snowflake Stencil that I will share on SPD blog later on the month.

I first partially inked up the card panel and then using the Falling Snow stencil I added some Glitz glitter gel. While I let it dry, I worked on the cute bear. Once the panel dry, I adhere it to the card base and it kind of hard to see but I added some snow shade behind the bear and also stamped the Christmas tree.

Arrange all the elements on the card and stamped the sentiment on a strip of cardstock.

What I love of the bear on Hey Winter set is that you can actually use him for more than just a winter card. Just using the set itself, you could use it for winter, fall, Christmas or birthday card. And, you can even get more out of it by mixing it with previously release sets.

Would you like to win Hey Winter set? Easy peasy. Simply leave a comment on SugarPea Blog. Wants more chance to win? Then check out my teammates blog and leave comment along the way for extra entries. Well peeps, that's all from me today. Hope you have a lovely day and see you tomorrow with more sneak peeks.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 1

Hi peeps. Welcome to day 1 of SugarPea Design Sweet Peek week. We have lots of fun new goodies to introduce with this release.

For day 1 we're introducing Buffalo Check, Gnome for Christmas and Snowglobe dies. I am using all 3 sets on my card.

I die cut the snowglobe and colored the base with distress oxide ink. Then I work on the gnome. I love gnomes. They just so cute! At first I was going to do a simple die cut card, but then decided to make shaker card.

Once I am done with the shaker card part, I stamped the Buffalo Check directly to the card base. Then I added the snowglobe.

Now, my teammates have created some amazing projects for this release. So, make sure you check their blog. And, we have daily giveaway during this whole week. STAMPtember Party

Hi peeps. It's that time of the year. It's finally here. Yep, yep.... Time to celebrate STAMPtember with Simon Says Stamp.

I am sure by now you 're familiar with this awesome event. It's like the most amazing celebration in card making. There will tons of inspiration going on, so I'll keep my post short & to the point.

For my card, I am playing with SSS Celebrate You set.

I simply stamp the martini several times, colored them with Copic and then covered it with liqui enamel. For the sentiment, to make it more festive I heat embossed it with WOW Black Glint embossing powder. This is what I call simple but fun card. ;) Who doesn't love colorful martinis, right?

And, please make sure you stop by Simon Says Stamp blog for more details on this awesome celebration and for special offer throughout the month.

Honey Bee Autumn Blessings Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to day 2 of Honey Bee Autumn Blessings blog hop. You should arrive here from Brenda Noelke blog and in case you miss any link, you can always find the complete hop list participants on  Honey Bee blog.

For this hop I used Grateful Heart, which is my favorite set from this release. And,boy, coloring this is what I called therapeutic coloring.

I stamped the heart and after that I just kind of like in the zen zone. It took  me a while to finish coloring this, but that's okay. After a busy day, sitting down and coloring this put me in calmer mind. Double  benefit. I get to make pretty card & free therapy. Hah!!

I know you have quite a few blog to hop to, so I am keeping my post short and sweet. Oh, and in case you missed it, I have made THIS card using the same set that I shared on my Instagram previously. I do share more cards on my Instagram, so if you'd like to, you can follow me there. :)

From here, please hop on over to my dear friend, the super talented Emily Midgett. Thank you all for stopping by here and may your weekend be an awesome one. Cheer....

The Ton Fall 2019 Release - Day 2

Hi all. Welcome to day 2 of The Ton's Fall 2019 Release. We are releasing 14 new photopolymer stamps and all of the new designs will be available for purchase on August 21st at 9am EST. New release orders will begin shipping on August 28th.

I know it's only August, but hey, it's never too early to start working on your Christmas cards. And, psst.... this year I'll be hosting the 10th annual Caring Hearts Card Drive (More info on that in October, so make sure you follow my blog so you won't miss the announcement). So, today's set are perfect to get you started on the Christmas projects.

Let me starts with the gorgeous Poinsettia Wreath.

As I started coloring this wreath, I just start shaking my head because again I tend to try non-traditional color combo. I don't know why, but before I do the traditional colors, I just like trying non-traditional for fun. I actually almost re-doing this card, but I ended up sticking with it. I mean, you don't always have to do Poinsettia in red and green, right?

Now, for my second card, I come a bit closer to the traditional color. Almost!! :)

On this card, I used the Loose Poinsettia and paired it up with an older Poinsettia Garden Cling Background set. I do love it when new set can inspired me to use an older set.

I hope you love the new sets. Want more inspiration? Check out my teammates blog below.

The Ton Fall 2019 Release - Day 1

Hi peeps. We are celebrating The Ton's Fall 2019 Release with 14 new photopolymer stamps! All of the new designs will debut on August 20th and 21st. Everything will be available for purchase on August 21st at 9am EST. New release orders will begin shipping on August 26th.

For today, I am showcasing two sets. First is my favorite set from this release, called Transformation. After all, she made this set based on my request. I love how with Effie I can suggest something and she make it even better than I imagined. I really love how beautiful this set is.

Seriously, with this set you don't need to do much to make it shine. I simply colored it with Copic and finished by covering the image with shimmer marker. Coloring this image is so relaxing and am so happy with the way this card turned out.

For my next card, I showcasing the beautiful Dahlia Close Up 2.

I usually do soft color, but for this one I decided to go with bold color. After I stamped the image, I watercolored it and let it dry. Once it dry, I added some white dots for details and die-cut the word hello from Peony Laurel dies set and layered it 4 times to make it stand out. Then I stamped "just a note" sentiment from Sweet Bouquet set and finished by adding some mix size dew drops.

So, what do you think? Gorgeous sets, rights? I hope you enjoy today's projects. Make sure you check out what the team has created. Thank you so much for swinging by here and see you tomorrow with more fun projects.

Today, I am showcasing the beautiful Waves stencil. I love, love, love this stencil. I did early sneak peek for this with my card from yesterday.

For today's card, I started by spraying one side of the stencil with Pixie Spray. Let it air for about a minute before placing the stencil on the card panel. Then on my work space, I mix some Glitz glitter gel with various color alcohol ink. I guess I didn't work fast enough, because by the time I was done, some of the gel already dried on the stencil and it cause some paper pulling when I lifted the stencil.

My wave result is not as crisp as I wanted, but I decided not to be too hard on myself and just continue using the panel instead of obsessing over the imperfection. It really is okay to let go!! :)

Next, I work on the sweet bear from Hey Summer that we introduced on day 3. Simpley colored him with Copic marker and adhere directly to the glittery wave. Finished by stamping the sentiment.

And, today, we're also introducing Cool Treat, which I will use on my project for SugarPea Mix It Up challenge (you'll see it next week on SPD blog). Even though, I am not showing the set, you sure could win it! How? Simply leave a comment here and also on SugarPea blog. Winners will be announced on Sunday, June 23rd on SPD blog.

For the background I used Wave Stencil (psst... I sneak this in. This stencil wouldn't be introduced till tomorrow!) and ink it up with various distress oxide ink and then splatter it with some water. Let dry. Then I stamp, die cut and colored the mermaids and adhere them with foam adhesive to the card base.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 3

Hi everyone and welcome to day 3 of SugarPea Sweet peek release week. We have 2 more days of sharing the 15 NEW products that will be available for purchase starting this Friday, June 21 at 6PM EST in the SPD Store.

Today we're introducing a beary sweet set that called Hey Summer. I just think the two bears in this set look so sweet & adorable.

For my mini card, I started by inking the Honeycomb Stencil with distress oxide inks. On purpose I don't ink up the whole background as I love the gradient look where the ink just seem to disappear. Next, I stamped, die cut and colored the bear. I want the bear to looks like he's holding the flower in his paw, so I cut a slit along the paw line. This way I can tuck in the flower. Finish by stamping the sentiment.

In case you're wondering, my mini card measurement is 3" x 4.25".

Giveaway time! Would you like to win Hey Summer set? Make sure you check out SugarPea blog and leave a comment there and here as well. Also, below are the links to my teammates blog. Check them out and leave them some love as well. Every comment on each blog count as additional chance

The Ton May 2019 Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton May's release. Effie has released 11 new stamps today along with coordinating cut files! In addition to new designs, we have some giveaways and a free gift with purchase. Read on for giveaway details and don' forget to head over to The Ton's blog for more free gift with purchase details.

For my first card, I am showcasing the beautiful Abstract Peonies and mix it up with Happy Florals.

There's just something about soft coloring flowers that often call my names. I mean, sometimes I started a card with the intention of using brighter, bolder color & still ended up up with soft coloring. Hah!!

For this card I simply stamped all the flowers on a panel of cardstock and once I am happy with it simply layer it with a soft blue cardstock and finished by stamping sentiment and adhered some sequins.

Now, for my next card, I did successfully used bright colors. Yay! ;)

I stamped the Scenes Parisian Cafe and pair with it with an oldie but goodie City Girls: Retail Therapy set. I don't want the background to overwhelm the scene, so I just keep it black and white and only colored the girl & the shopping bags/boxes.

For the sentiment I used the birthday sentiment from Macarons set, another oldie set. I love it when I get to show older stamps some love. Make me feel better when they're actually being used.

GIVEAWAY
No release is complete without giveaway, right? We're giving away 3 stamps from our new release! Leave a comment on The Ton's blog and each participating design team member's blog to qualify to win one of three stamps. Comment period will close on the 28th and winners will be announced on The Ton's blog after.

For today, I can't help but chose to play with the sweet Strike Up The Band set. A parade of cute critters? Yes, please. :)

Since I want to fit quite a few of the critters on my card, I decided to make a long card. Colored a panel with various distress oxide ink and sprinkle with some water for added intereest. Adhere to the card base. Next, stamped, die cut and colored all the critters and then arrange them on the card. I used foam adhesive for all my critters as I love dimension on my cards.

How cute is that baby elephant? I find him irresistible!! Oh, and the floating hedgehog? Love...

For today, we're introducing a sweet set that will inspire you to let your creativity sprout, bloom and grow. Introducing this darling springtime stamp set called Sprout Bloom Grow.

I ground my sweet dog that peeking from the flower pot on a tag created by using the Card Front Element Builder II die set. I just love the look of this round top tag. Then, surprise... LOL, yes I am still going strong playing with alcohol pearl ink. I used it to color the tag.

For the background I use the Stacked Honeycomb and arrange them on the background randomly and shaded them with Copic, just so they don't look so plain. I think the addition of some soft colors make a difference, don't you think?

This is such a fun & cute set. I love it and I hope you do, too.

I don't know about you, but this set kind of make me want to own an old typewriter. There's just something sentimental and sweet about it. I remember that I used one to type some report back when I was in junior high.

For my card I ground the typewriter on some lines that I created using Card Front Element Builder 2. This is such a versatile dies and you can use the parts individually or together. And... teal typewriter? Heck, yeah.... Hah!! This is the favorite color for most card maker, right? ;)

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Day 1

Hi peeps! Welcome to day 1 of SugarPea Design sweet peek. We have loads of fun & cute sets to introduce on this release. We’re excited to finally able to share it with you all. Please join us over the next 5 days as the SugarPea Designers and I share Sweet Peeks for the 16 NEW products that will be available for purchase starting this Friday, April 26th at 6PM EST in the SPD Store.

Let’s get on with the project, shall we? For today,  I am playing with Hey Honey set (there are also Honeycomb Cover Plate & Stencil along with Stacked Honeycomb dies that complement this set perfectly).

At the moment I am going through alcohol ink phase, so that’s what I did for my background. I just love the glossy look on this background. It’s so shiny! :) Next, I stamped the bear twice, colored & fussy cut them. Granted there’s matching dies for this set but I wanted a cut that’s right on the line. Besides, I find fussy cut relaxing and this was an easy one.

I want to make the m as couple, so on one of the bear I simply added eye lashes. Hah... I love how pretty she looks. Simply adhere them to the card base. I did curl them a bit and added foam adhesive to the middle of the bears so it doesn’t look too flat. Finished by stamping the sentiment using Grateful set from previous release.

Now,  how would you like to win Hey Honey set? Check out SugarPea blog and leave a comment there.

Our team has some amazing and creative inspiration for you using the products featured here today. You can visit each of our designers’ blogs below for details on their projects. And while you’re there be sure to leave a sweet comment for them, giving you an extra entry to win today’s giveaway.

I sure hope you’re as excited as we are over this release. Thank you for stopping by here and may your week starts off wonderfully.  Happy Earth day!
