Create With Marcie Sharp

Hi peeps! How's thing going? You know, one of the thing that I love about card making is the wonderful people I get to meet because of it. Whether it's someone that I have met in person and online. Well, one of those girl is Marcie Sharp.

So, last week she asked me if I want to play along with her blog weekly series called Crate Together, where another cardmaker and her challenge each other to create a card from a theme or limited supplies or inspiration photo, etc. Well, since I always love creating with others, of course I say yes.

We decided to CASE each other. Since, I am a fan of happy card, I chose to CASE her unicorn card from this POST. This is her card:

Such a happy card, right? I  love the layer of clouds and the cute unicorn. So, here's my card:

I create my own happy card by using Taylored Expression Rolling Clouds dies along with this cuties from My Favorite Things Hog Heaven set. On this set, only one of the piggy have wing, so I just draw one for the one on the left side. If you click on the picture you can see the bigger picture and hopefully you could see the pretty glitters on the wings.

Oh... and that piggy in a barrel is from my own critters collection. I have a whole set of cute piggies figurines. I seriously could not resist their cuteness. I love collecting cute stuff. And, this one is perfect to complement the card, right?

Pop-Up Box Birthday Card

Hi peeps. This March, I had the honor to guest designing for Taylored Expressions. Today, is my last day. I had so much fun playing with their stuff and I thank Taylor for this opportunity.

Hoppy Birthday

I notice that since I have my 2 cutie pie nephews, I find myself making boy cards a bit more often than before. Well, I figure, even if don't use all the cards, my cousin could use the cards for their school friends. I tend to make cards that I know I will use or my family & friend will use.

Anyway, I made this boy card using SugarPea Designs Unfrog-gettable set.

I just love that fish peeking out from  the pond. It's my favorite part of the set. Check out SugarPea Designs blog for more fun inspiration from the SPD team.

Birthdays Are The Best

Hi peeps. Just want to pop in to share this mini card that I made just for fun. I have several sets that are still brand spanking new and of course, I cannot just let them sit there untouched, right?

For this card, I used Taylored Expressions Balloon Buddies stamp & dies set & their Rolling Clouds dies. I love that all the animals on this set have their tongue sticking out. It makes them look cuter & sillier in my opinion. :)

Well, short one, peeps. Hah... My mind is blank, I have no stories to tell, so that's it. ;)

Love You More Than Cupcakes

 Today, I want to share a card that I made purely just for fun. No challenges, no assignnet. Simply creating for the purpose of creating, playing with sweet image & coloring.

I have several cupcake stamps & dies, but I think this Sweet Tooth Tower stamp & dies set from Taylored Expressions is my favorite. The size is just perfect.

Such pretty rows of cupcakes, aren't they? I had so much fun coloring the cupcakes and the font combo on the sentiment... totally LOVE it! I am pretty happy with the way this card turned out.  And, it's fun playing simply for fun.

Oh, since yesterday was Chinese New Year, look at this sweet family pic my family sent me. I FaceTime with all of them and to hear my niece saying the New Year's greeting just made my day. Doesn't she looks so cute with her red Chinese dress?

To all my family and friends who celebrate it, I want to wish you all a very happy & prosperous Chinese New Year. May this Monkey Year brings you joy, prosperity & good luck!
