SugarPea Designs Summer Release Sweet Peek Day 2

Hi  all and welcome to day 2 of  SugarPea Design release week. We Have more sweet sets to share with you. Today, I am showcasing Life Is A Picnic, Sunshine Sentiments & SugarCut Sunshine.

Who's ready for a picnic? Now, on my neck of the wood, I'd say it's way too hot for a picnic, but hey, if I lived at any place with nice weather, am definitely would go for a picnic. Especially when you have a cute basket filled with fun, yummy goodies. And, I wouldn't mind if a cute seagull want to join in. Hah!

It's so fun to put together this scene. And, that Sunshine sentiment dies, totally awesome in my opinion. Maybe because I always call my niece our sunshine. So, "sunshine" has special meanings for me.

Want to take a peek at the sets I am using today? Please see below.

SugarPea Designs Summer Release Sweet Peek Day 1

Hi peeps and welcome to SugarPea Design Summer release sneak peek time! We have loads of cute sets that are perfect to celebrate summer and I sure hope you'll love them as much as I do.

For day 1, I am showcasing Captain Of My Heart and Pirate Treasure Map Stencil. Please note that all links will goes live on release day, July 2, 2021.  And, since today is my birthday, I decided to go with birthday card theme. :)

For me, the pirate li'l birdie caught my attention from the moment I saw the sneak peek of this set. I mean, come on, how cute is that birdie? I don't think my nephews or niece are into pirate stuff, but whenever I make cards for kids, I always make it with them in mind. Out of habit, I guess. :)

For the background, I used a stencil that we'll introduce real soon. Then I used various ink color with Pirate Treasure Map Stencil , trim it and adhere to card with fam adhesive. Next, I simply stamp, color and die cut the pirate girl and the bird. Adhere to card and finish by adding the sentiment. Have to admit, making treasure map is fun. Felt like it bring out the inner child in me. Hah!

Here's a look at the sets that I used today.

Spellbinders' June Clear Stamp of The Month

Hi all. Happy Monday. I am popping in just to share a couple cards that I made using Spellbinders' June Clear Stamp Of The Month.

For this first card, I used the sun stamp, line it up and stamp it repeatedly using rainbow color. Then I simply stamp the sentiment and the birds. Adhere the panel to card base. Super quick card. I think with all our busy schedule, it's always good when you can do quick card, right?

Anyway, I ended up doing 2 cards with this set. Here's the next one.

For my next one, I used the mountain scene and again stamped it in various color. For the background I used one of the patterned paper from Spellbinders' June Card kit of The Month. Trim it slightly smaller than the card base and add the stamped mountain circles. Finished by adding the sentiment that I layered with metallic cardstock.

Well peeps, that's all from me today. I wish your week starts off in a good way.  Happy crafting!

Spellbinders' June Card Kit Of The Month

Hi all. Happy June. Can you believe it's already June?  Is it just me or the older we get time seems to fly by faster? Well, new month also means new kit. I am excited to  share the projects I have created using Spellbinders' June Card Kit of The Month, called Wild Hello..

I love the happy, bright & cheerful design of this month's kit. Let's take a peek at what's included on the kit, shall we?

This kit is packed with fun stuff. For my 1st card, I just have to play with the giraffe.

Started by trimming a couple of the patterned paper and adhere them to the card base. Next, I die cut the Big Thanks word border from metallic cardstock and add to the card. Next, simply add the giraffe, wreath and bow. Finish by adding the speech bubble puffy sticker.

Next, I decided to make a birthday card. Looky here, pink panther birthday card!!

I have to admit that I love how with using kit everything goes together and you can just whip up a card in no time. And, it challenge me to step out of my comfort zone and do more layering. I enjoy this more than I expected.

And, last but not least, another giraffe card.

I love that I can do the layering  and yet keep true to my clean and simple style. Those white space, make me happy. :)

There you have it, 3 fun and quick cards from the June kit. But, in my opinion, you can actually make 20 cards or more from this kit easily. Just depends on you cardmaking style of course. So, what do you think of this Spellbinders' May Card Kit of The Month? Each month I never know what I am gonna get, but that's part of the fun. I hope enjoy today's cards.

Well peeps, that's all from me today. Oh and in case you're looking for some sweet deals, Spellbinders is having their pre-summer sale going on. Just click on the banner and it will take you directly to Spellbinders site. Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. Cheers.....
