The Ton December Release

Hi friends. Welcome to The Ton December release. We have quite a few fun, goodies line up for this release. But, as bird lover, I just have to showcase this Cozy Chickadee set. I love Chickadees. I think they're such a pretty birds.

For the background, I used one of the postage frame from Postage Nested die set. After cutting it, I kept the die on it to keep as masking and ink blend Hot Tourmaline on the bottom of the frame. Adhere frame to card base.

For teh bird, once I die cut all the pieces from white cardstock, I ink blend Light Onyx for the feather. For the head I used Copic marker. Put together all the pieces. Then, I worked on the greeneries using the Cascade Bits set. For the branch I used Warm Hazelnut and for the leaves I used Spring Salad and
Evergreen. Die cut the pieces and arrange on the postage frame and then add the bird.

Finished with sentiment and some enamel drops. There's plenty more fun sets from this release. PLease check out The Ton blog for more details from this release. In case I don't get a chance to post before Christmas, I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas. May you holiday season be a joyous one. Warm wishes to you all!

The Ton November Release

Hi friends. Today we're celebrating The Ton November release and it's a good one. I am excited that we have pretty good size release. First up, I am showcasing the Winter Bear Layering Stencil set. After seeing so many layered floral stencil, it is so refreshing to finally get a layered critter stencil. I love this bear! Since this is a pretty quick coloring with the stencil, it's great for mass production.

Next, I am showcasing Dazzling Daisies set paired with Nested Striped Border Dies.

I love, love how detailed the petals of these daisies are. And, love it even more that I can get all the pieces with 1 run through the die-cut machine. I die cut all the pieces using white cardstock and do the coloring afterwards. If you want a fuller flower you can use all4 layer in 1 flower or if you want a less dense flower, then just use 2 layer. Here, I used all 4 layer for the top flower and use 2 layer for the bottom flowers.

Die cut the frame using one of the die from Nested Striped Border Dies. Colored it by ink blending Spring Salad ink on it, followed by adhering the flowers and leaves. Added sentiment from an older set that I have on my sentiment piles and finally finished by adding some white dots and enamel drops.

Hope you enjoy this month's release. Please check out what the team has created and let us know what you love from this release. Thank you for stopping by here and for all the support. Cheers...

The Ton September 2024 Release

Hi friends. Welcome to The Ton release. I know it's been a while since we have some new sets and I am excited that we have more flower stencils to share. Let's get on to it shall, we?

First up is this card I made using Daisy Duo stencils. As always, I love using stencil because it make it easy for me to achieve the soft look that I love.

For my card, I simply placed the stencil on right and left side to fill up the card. I feel this way we can get more from our stencil.

Next up is a card featuring Daisy Bouquet stencils. This set comes with four stencils and also has a coordinating die available separately. For the background I used an oldie, but a favorite set of mine the Quilted A2 Coverplate die.

Hope you enjoy this month's release. Just a quick post as I still trying to rest my eyes after my Lasik procedure. Till next time friends.

The Ton 9th Anniversary Release

I still can remember when I got invited to join The Ton design team 8  years ago. Right about when  they're about to celebrate their 1st anniversary.  I was so excited because I love their gorgeous flower sets and am grateful that as we celebrated The Ton 9th anniversary I am still part of the team. And, I can honestly say I still have most of their sets because for me, their flower sets are just gorgeous and I just can't part with them.

To celebrate this anniversary, the Ton is releasing some fun sets and I am showcasing a few of the new sets. First up is my card featuring Postage Party Die and Postage Sunflower Stencil.

I die cut the postage  background and then adding the sunflowers using the Postage Sunflower Stencil. Put aside. Directly on the card base I used the Postage Stripes Stencil to do the border. Once finish, I adhere the Sunflower postage panel to the card base. Stamp the sentiment and the postage mark from Not A Bill set .

Next, am showcasing the Sweet Cherry Blossom stencil and Sweet Cherry Blossom Coordinating die.

This card pretty straight forward. For the background panel, I embossed it using Single Plaid Coverplate Die. Then, I inked up the stencil, die cut it and then adhere to the card base. Finish by adding sentiment from Rose Labels set and Soft Pink Gem Rhinestones.

That's all I have for today. Please stop by The Ton blog and teammates blogs for more inspirations from this release. Thank you for stopping by here.

The Ton Summer Release

Hi there creative peeps. Today we're celebrating The Ton summer release and I am for one excited for it as they're a good one.

My 1st card is featuring several of the new sets from this release. The Mid Rose StencilMid Rose Coordinating Die, Rose Leaves Stencil, Rose Leaves Coordinating Die, Script Notes set & Script Notes die.

For the rose I used Hollywood Star & Grand Fuchsia and for  the leaves I used Soft Garden & Deep Emerald. When adhering the rose, I actually curved the middle part and used thicker foam adhesive on the middle and thinner foam adhesive on the edge. I feel like this give better dimension to the rose. Finished by adding sentiment & some sequins.

The next card is showcasing Jumbo Rose Stencil.

For this card I used Bright Emerald, Caribbean Turquoise and Periwinkle. Once I finished stenciling in the color, I splatter some blue watercolor ink on the panel. Let dry and adhere to card base. Finished by adding sentiment and some mix size dew drops.

Last but not least, am showcasing Floral Notes Stamp.

I first stamped the sentiment and then using post it note as masking to create the border and fill in the opening with Copic marker. Once I am done with it, I feel like the card need a bit more dimension. So, I stamped the image again, colored it and then fussy cut each letter and adhere it to the card with foam adhesive. Finished by adding some enamel drops.

I hope you enjoy The Ton summer release. The team been working hard to create some inspiration using the new release sets. Please check out what my teammates has created. And, thank you so much for visiting here.

The Ton Anniversary Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton anniversary release. To celebrate its anniversary The Ton has released several coordinating stencils for previously released stamp set. So, for those of you who already has the sets, this is a great way to make the coloring process easier and for those who prefer to work with stencil, then  this is it.

For my part, I am showcasing the gorgeous Sweet Bouquet Dahlia Layering Stencil. This is such a pretty bouquet and is one of my favorite from this release.

I simply colored each layer of stencil with Coralline, Coral Cavern, Soft Garden and Matcha.
To be honest though, the first layer, I have no clue what color it was, as I was just using leftover color that still on the brush and I thought it looks pretty, so I just use it. :)  And to finish I added some Dark Purple Opaque rhinestones.

For my next card, I am featuring Sunkissed Dahlia Layering Stencil

I started by using Quilted A2 Coverplate die. Then I stenciled the Dahlia on the panel. Next, I die cut the word wishes using Bold General Greeting Word Plate die. I can't even remember how old this sentiment set is, all I know I use it quite a bit. Definitely one of those set that you can just use again and again.

Well peeps, that's all from me today. To see the complete release and see what my teammates has created for this release, please check the links below. May your week starts off wonderfully.

The Ton Fall/Holiday 2022 Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton Fall/Holiday release. I am so excited to share this release as the sets are simply beautiful & fun. As soon as I receive my package, I got busy playing.

First up, is my favorite from this release, the gorgeous Coming Up Iris stamp set..

I heat embossed the flower on watercolor cardstock, add the watercolor it and once dry, I die cut it with Climbing Iris Coordinating die. After debating whether I should use colored cardstock or not, I ended up adhering it to plain white cardstock as I feel the white really make the flower pop. And, more often than not, simplicity let things shine in my opinion.

Next, I played with Belated Iris stamp set (this set also coordinated with Jumbo Iris Layering Stencil , which I used below on my 3rd card).

I paired the Iris with a strip of rainbow strip that I created with alcohol ink. Heat embossed the Iris, add watercolor, die cut it with Jumbo Iris Coordinating die, trim and adhere to card. Finish the card by adding sentiment and some Light Purple Opaque Rhinestones.

For my 3rd card, I am showcasing Jumbo Iris Layering Stencil. Seriously, I think Iris is one of those flower that's so much fun to color. I mean, I just go wild with the color combo. :)

Here, I thought the pine branch from Holiday Cones Outline (older but timeless set) would make a fun background for this flower. I kind of like the light feathery look of it. What do you think?

Now, how about a couple Christmas cards? The Jolly Season Large Stencil is sooo fun! You can keep it simple with just a few color of you can go with more colors that make it even merrier. This stencil cover a whole cardstock sheet and you can get 4 cards done at the same time or you can just use one section at a time.

Below are a couple of the cards that came out from the sheet above. I'll share the other 2 cards on my Instagram later on.

Fun & merry Christmas cards, right? I really love playing with The Ton large layering stencil. The gorgeous design is my top reason and second, I can get 4 cards done quick this way. My teammates has work hard to make awesome projects for this release. Please visit their blog below & leave some love. Let us know what you think of this release. Happy Tuesday!!

The Ton's July Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton's August release. I am excited to share this release, so let's get on with it, shall we?

For my first card, I am showcasing this fun & gorgeous Pretty Pansy Fields stencil set.

This set is simply beautiful and I plan on playing more with this set. That's what I love about The Ton sets, so many of them are simply timeless and I can honestly say I still have most of my sets because I know I could and will use them again and again. For this card I inked up the stencil with Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms, Violet Fringe, Lemon Drop and Matcha ink. Simply trim the panel once I am done, adhere to card base and finish with the sentiment.

On to my 2nd card. For this one, I used Pretty Peony Close Up stencil and paired it with previously released Love & Hugs Word Plates dies.

Gotta love stencils. It makes card making quick and easy. And, last but not least am showcasing Fierce Ferns set.

I simply ink blend Hot Tourmaline, Caribbean Turquoise and Soft Garden on a panel of cardstock and then stamped the panel. I decided to add some doodling to some of the leaves to create interest. I think this is a fun way to get more out of your stamp.

Well peeps, t hat's all from me for today. I'll be sharing  more from this release in the coming days and on The Ton's blog. Hope you all having a wonderful weekend.

The Ton June's Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton June's release. Today we are releasing 6  new stencil & coordinating dies. I really been loving playing with stencils as I feel they really help me in making quick cards. Let's get on with the first card, shall we?

For my 1st card I am showcasing Luminous Sunflower set. How gorgeous is this set? I love this set. I guess because for me sunflower means happiness, cheerfulness. This card comes together pretty quick. Just inked up the stencil and then die cut with coordinating die and voila! Sentiment from  Easy Expressions Birthday Stamp Set.  Here's a peek at the stencil layers.

Next, I am playing with Poised Morning Glories. If I am being honest, I want to re-do this card. Am not too happy with the way I colored the center of the flowers. Should have just leave it blank or use different color maybe. But, I was already short on time. So, stay tune for a remake. :)

Here's a peek at the stencil layers.

My talented teammates have create some wonderful projects for this release, please check them out and leave some love, will you. That's all from me today and may your week starts off wonderfully.

The Ton Spring Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton's mini spring release. For this release, The Ton is introducing 2 stencil sets and 1 stamp set and I just love them, cause I love flowers!!

For my 1st card, I am showcasing this beautiful Gentle Peonies stencil set.

This stencil is a 6 layered stencil, so you will get pretty detailed layers. I decided to go with cooler tone and use Arctic Sky, Parisian Blue, Italian Denim and True Navy for the flowers and Matcha ink for the leaves. For the center of the flower I used Lemon Drop. Once I am done with the stenciling, I trim the side of the panel slightly thinner than the card base. Then I cut the panel horizontally in two. Add some gold strips and sentiment, then trim the bottom panel to fit the card base. For extra sparkle I added some glitter to the center of the flowers.

Next, I am showcasing the Cosmos Mail set. Now, obvious use would be to stamp this set on your envelope to make it all fancy and pretty. But, I want to show you how you could also use it for your card.

I simply stamped the image and colored it with Copic. Adhere the panel to card base. Then, I simply covered the lined area for address with sentiment. In fact, I was able to position the sentiment in a way where the lines becomes a border for the sentiment.

There you go, a couple cards from me and my teammates has created some gorgeous projects for this release as well. Please visit the links below:

Well peeps, that's all from me today. Hope you enjoy today's cards and may your week starts off wonderfully.

The Ton Fall Release Day 2

Hi all and welcome to day 2 of The Ton fall release. For this release, The Ton is introducing 19 stamp & dies and I am excited to share them with you. Let's get on to the cards, shall we?

For my 1st card, I am using the gorgeous Poinsettia Bouquet & Styled Christmas Sentiment set. I start by stamping and heat embossed the poinsettia with gold embossing powder on a watercolor panel. Then, I watercolored the image and let dry. Once dry adhere the panel to card base. Then stamp & heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it with Styled Christmas Sentiment coordinating die. Then adhere to the card and we're done. :)

Now, on to the second card.

For this card, I run a panel of cardstock with Festive Folk Coverplate die. I love, love the details of this coverplate. Adhere the pane to card base. From my card that I shared yesterday, I have the pieces from Holiday Coloring Bits that I used on this card. Arranged the bits and adhere with foam adhesive to the card. To finish, I stamped and die cut the sentiment from Styled Christmas Sentiment.

I hope you enjoy today's cards. Want more inspirations? Please check out my teammates blog. Wishing you all a lovely weekend. Cheers....

The Ton Fall Release Day 1

Hi all and welcome to day 1 of The Ton fall release. We're already in September, can you believe it? Well, September also means it's time to start working on Christmas cards!! I know, I know, it's early, but if you're like me and don't have too much free time, it's always good to start building your Christmas card stash in advance.

For this release, The Ton is releasing a good size collection. Please note that as of this moment you can pre-order the new release on 9/3 and they will start shipping on 9/22.

For today, I am showcasing the gorgeous & detailed Fancy Folk Tree Layering Coverplates dies. There are 2 coverplate and you could just use one of the plate or use both for beautiful piercing details.

To start, I run the 1st coverplate dies on a piece of white cardstock. Afterward, I run the same panel with the 2nd coverplate. This 2nd one also cut the tree out. Next, I colored the tree by ink blending Parisian Blue, Bright Emerald, Matcha and Lemon Drop. Once I am done, I adhere the white panel to card base, followed by the colored tree.

Next for the sentiment, I used Ribbons Holiday and stamped it with Miami Cool ink pad and the second part with Versamark embossed with gold embossing powder. The good thing is you get tp stamp several sentiments at the same time and also die cut them with just 1 run. Adhere sentiment with foam adhesive. Last for final touch, I stamped and heat embossed Holiday Coloring Bits and die cut it with its coordinating dies. I only used one of the pieces and saving the rest for my other card that I will share tomorrow!

For more inspiration and sneak peek, please check out my teammates blog below. Stay tune and come back here tomorrow for more new release goodies. Thank you for stopping by and have a beautiful day, peeps.

The Ton August Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton August release. Let's get on with it, shall we? For my first card, I am using the new Cosmos Border cling stamp.

How gorgeous is this border set? So fun to color and I went to town with my kind of coloring. I am so happy with the way this card turned out. Simply stamped and colored. For the sentiment, I used the Happy Birthday  sentiment from another new set called Charming Cosmos. The small sentiment is from a previously released set called Heartfelt Blossoms.

For my next card, I used the pretty flowers and sentiment from Charming Cosmos

I know I wanted to use the sentiment, so I started with that. I stamped with my favorite green Matcha ink and then die cut it with one of the square from the Double Pierced Square Nested Dies. For the flower I used Bubble GumDolled Up and Coralline ink. Stamped and die cut the flower and put aside. For the leaves I used the new set Multi Monsteras and inked them using Honey Dew & Spring Salad. Now, time to put them together. Adhere the sentiment and arranged the flowers and the monsteras leaves with foam adhesive. Finished by adding some sequins.

There a few more sets being released and you can see them by visiting The Ton blog and of course, there's even more inspiration. Please stop by  my teammates blog and you can see their beautiful creations. Hope you enjoy today's release and thank you so much for stopping by here.

The Ton Summer 2021 Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton Summer release. Effie had designed some fun sets that I think are quite refreshing. The sets being released today definitely make me think of my home in Indonesia because of the tropical feeling.

I was out of town for a quick short trip with hubby, so I was only able to make 1 card for today. But, I was using 3 of the new sets on this card.

For the background, I stamped and heat embossed Many Monsteras Cling Background. Then, I blend in Deep Emerald, Bright Fern, Evergreen & Soft Garden. I sure do love this color combination. Make the card have that fresh feeling in my eyes. :)

Then, I stamped the pot from Plentiful Planters and die cut it with the coordinating dies. Adhere this to the card. Then I stamped, die cut and colored the leaves from Petit Planters. Adhere to the card with foam adhesive.

To finish this card, I die cut sentiment using Many Sentiments Coverplate on a piece of white cardstock. Adhere to the card and for final touch add some Pastel Mint sequins.

I sure will be making more projects with this release. If you haven't follow me on Instagram, I'd be thrilled if you follow me there as I share more of my projects there. You can find me HERE

Please check out what the team has created for this release.

Well peeps, that's all from me today. May your weekend starts off wonderfully.

The Ton May Release

Hi all and welcome to The Ton May release. I am so excited for this release. So many beauties!! The ton is releasing 10 new stamps, 3 stencil and 1 floral pop up dies. My flower lover heart totally loving this release. Let's start with my favorite from this release.

First up, is the Peony Print Layering Stencil with coordinating die. I love this set!

For this card, I simply did ink blending on each layer of the stencil to create this floral background. Then, I stamped and heat embossed the Wonderful sentiment from Jumbo Sentiments on a piece of vellum ad then die cut it using the coordinating Jumbo Sentiments die. Stamp the "you are" using Grand Fuchsia, die cut and adhere to the card.

And, to mail out this card, I use Rose Pretty Mail set to decorate the envelope.

I used Soft Ash ink to stamp the image as I feel using black ink might be too strong or make the envelope looks too busy. I just love soft colors. :)

For my next card, I used the classy and elegant Grouped Fresh Garden Roses and paired it up with Many Banners set.

Super fast and easy card. Simply stamp each layer, die cut the roses with the coordinating Grouped Fresh Garden Roses dies. The colors I used are Whisper Pink, Peach Blossom & Coralline. Adhere all the parts to the card base and then simply add the sentiment banner. And, of course as usual I like to add some enamel dots to finish my card.

For this next card, I used popsicle stick to create the fence look. A few years ago, I had card that was published on Paper Crafts magazine using popsicle and I thought I'd create another card using the same supply. To be honest, this card with the popsicle stick been sitting in my drawer for 2-3 years. I know, crazy right? Finally, with this Blossom Branches set I feel like I found the right set to use with this card base. Anyone else did this, keeping half done card for years? Or am I the only crazy one? Hm... on second thought, don't answer that. Hah!!

Last but not least, I am sharing the Hibiscus Pop-Up dies with coordinating stencil. You can watch the video on how to color and assemble all the parts HERE.

How pretty is this? For me this is like a sweet surprise inside a card. I simply adhere this to a card that I have previously finished. This just an extra oomphh to the card, don't you think?

Well peeps, that's all I have to share for today. I hope you love this release as much as I do. What catch your eyes? Need more inspiration? Please check out what The Ton team has created using the new sets. I wish you all a beautiful Thursday. Cheers.
