Coffee & Corgi

Hi all. I was invited by my dear friend, Shelly Kurth to partner up with her in creating coffee theme card. We agreed to use the same Coffee Break set from Honey Bee Stamps and make a card with coffee & critters. What's better than combining the tow things I love. Hah! Here's a quick look at my card and check out Shelly's card on Coffee Loving Card Makers blog

I want to be able to tuck in gift card on my card as I plan to give this card to my mail lady, so I decided to make an easel card. The pocket inside function to hold the gift card and also to keep the easel part in position.

Well, that' all from me today peeps. Have a blessed day all.

Joyful Words

Hi all. I am still on a roll of making Christmas cards and today I am featuring this gorgeous Spellbinders' Joyful Words Clear Stamp.

I think this large sentiment set is perfect for mass production card. I simply heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder, trim the panel, layered it with another cardstock to create a thin frame around it. Then adhere to card base. For embellishment, I used Holiday Blooms Etched Dies set. I die cut the Poinsettia from pearlesecent paper and the leaves from white vellum, which I then colored with ink blending. Finish by adding enamel drop to the center of the poinsettia.

That's all from me today. May your weekend been a great one. Cheers.

Christmas Gnomes

Who's ready for more Christmas cards in August? Hah! I know, when it's blazing hot kind of hard to think of Christmas. Or when you're dealing with Covid. Yep, hubby and I unfortunately got it after avoiding it all this time. It hit hubby pretty hard and not as hard for me, but I had the sore throat and what really bug me right now is the constant headache and feeling like in a fog.

Anyway, enough about me. Let's get on to the cards, shall we? Luckily I finished these cards way before. Today, I want to share a couple super adorable gnome car. First up, is this card showcasing the Gnome Tree Etched Dies.

How adorable is this Gnome tree? I started by working on the background. I ink blended some distress oxide inks and splatter it with some white gouache. Next, I die cut and assemble the pieces for the gnome tree. Adhere the finish piece to the panel. Trim & layered the panel and adhere to card base. Next, I added some highlight to the gnome hats with Copic marker. For the sentiment, I hot foiled one oft the sentiment from previously released Mini Christmas Sentiment with Matte Gold hot foil roll. On the light string I add enamel drops and finish the card by adding some rhinestones. Cute & fun, right?

On to the next card, with this naught gnome. Introducing Holly Jolly Gnome Etched Dies. He may be jolly, but the way he behaves make me think he's a bit naughty. Hah!!

I loveeee the background on this card. I used the new Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. Seriously, am in love with this hot foil plate. It just so pretty!! Once I am done with the background, I simply piece together the gnome and the ornament and bow. You can view on my Instagram to see how the ornament actually move. Finish the card by adding some rhinestones.3

There you go, 2 fun gnome cards that hopefully get  you in the mood to create some Christmas cards. Well peeps, I still have to rest up, so that's all from me. Have a blessed day!

Spellbinders' Dancin' Snowman

Hi peeps. How's it going? Even though it's only August, it sure is not too early to start working on some Christmas cards in my book. And, the new releases from Spellbinders make it so easy to create fun & adorable Christmas cards.

Today, am showcasing the adroable Dancin' Snowman and paired it with what have become my favorite hot foil background, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Hot Foil Plate.

I started by ink blending some blues for the panel. Once that done, I hot foiling the background with  Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Prism hot foil roll. Love, love, love this background. I mean, the glimmering silver against those blue are just gorgeous. adhere the panel to card base. Next, I die cut and put together the snowman. adhere to card. Finish by stamping and heat embossing sentiment from Dancin' Holiday Sentiment Clear Stamp set. Oh yes, for the sman hat I also added liquid applique for extra texture.

This jolly snowman just looks so cute, isn't it? I hope you enjoy today's card. That's all from me today as I am still dealing with Covid and not feeling the best. So keeping this post short & sweet. May your week starts off wonderfully. Cheers...

Sellbinders' Glimmer Hot Foil of The Month

Hi peeps. I am excited to share Spellbinders' August Glimmer Hot Foil of The Month set. This month's glimmer set is beautiful.

I definitely have a weakness toward floral hot foil and when I saw this month's set, I might have squealed a bit. Hah!

To start, I hot foil the flower with Rose Gold hot foil. Once done, die cut it with the coordinating die and colored with Copic. As usual I went with soft colors. Put aside and work on the background panel, which I  embossed with Party Spots Embossing Folder. This embossing folder probably is one of my favorite as it's so versatile. Adhere it to card base. Next, I hot foiled the sentiment that came in the set on a wide strip of cardstock. For the sentiment I used Matte Gold hot foil roll. By the way, this is the one hot foil that I feel is a must to have. At least for me. Yep, a bit obsessed with this roll. Adhere to card and finish by adhering the foiled flower with foam adhesive and add some mix size sequins.

Pretty easy peasy and I feel like the hot foil really help add some oomph to a clean & simple card. What do you think? Well, that's all from me today and I wish you all a happy day.

Spellbinders' August Small Die Cut of The Month

Hi all. Today I am showcasing Spellbinders' August Small Die of The Month set. This month's small dies set is a fun one and can be used for so many different occassion.

I know I want to have texture for the background of this card, so I decided to start with the background first, using Tile Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere the panel to the card base. Put aside. Then I die cut a bunch of the flowers and leaves from various colored cardstock. Before adhering the flowers, I thought I better make sure where I want to place the sentiment and do the flower arrangement around it. I grab my favorite, More Sentiments Hot Foil set. Once I am done with the sentiment, I just play around with the flowers placement. Finished by adding some sequins and enamel dots to the center of the flowers.

That's all from me today. May your day be a wonderful one.

Spellbinders' August Large Die Cut Of the Month

Hi all. Wow, it's already August. I feel like I have to pinch myself, since in my head it feels like we had just celebrated New Year not that long ago. Anyway, as we enter the August month, I am here today to share Spellbinders's August Large Die Cut of The Month set.

August's large die set is simply sweet & fun. I mean, who doesn't  love strawberry? This card is full of texture. I simply die cut all the pieces several times to create this basket full of strawberry. I ink blend a bit of gray to the strawberry to create shadow & depth. Arrange all the pieces on the card base. Then, for the sentiment I hot foil the birthday sentiment from More Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. Finished by adding some rhinestones.

I really love the way this card turned out and till I find the recipient for this card, it's on display on my craft room shelf just because it  makes me happy. That's all from me today. May your August starts off in a wonderful way.
