I {Heart} Wieners

Hi everyone. Earlier this week, I mentioned that there's a new challenge coming to town. Well, its' heereee!! Welcome  to Naughty or Nice challenges. 

Our very 1st challenge theme is LOVE. Now, it's up to you. You can make sweet lovey dovey card or you can make hot naughty card?;) Either way we'd love to see what you come up with. Use products from any company. No restriction there.

Here's what I made. I am a dog lover, so go with sweet image and as for the sentiment... it's up to your interpretation, right? ** wink ;)

TSG Critter Christmas Challenge

Happy December! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving with your loved ones. We had a lovely dinner with the family, ate too much (there were 4 different dessert for us to choose from including creme brule, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin cake with chocolate mouse) and all in all just enjoying a good family time.

The rest of the long weekend, I just enjoy being at home and do lots of cleaning. I also get to meet up with my dear friend, Trinh, for a breakfast and spent some time with my cousin and my super cute nephew. So, it was really a pretty great weekend.

Now, back to work. Hah...  And, can you believe it's already December?? Yikes... Felt like this year just fly by.

Anyway, this week I get to pick the challenge theme at There She Goes Stamp blog. Since I love animals, no surprise there I pick a challenge that involves critter. Yep, my challenge is to create any Christmas project using critter image. And, here's mine using the adorable moose from the newly released, Merry Christmoose set.

I love this set! The moose is cute & fun to work with. A quick coloring and some fussy cut later, I have this CAS card done in bout 20 mins. Love it when a card can come quickly like that. You have 1 week to play along. To play along and for the prize detail please check out TSG blog.

TSG Winter Fun Challenge

Hi everyone. How's your Monday going? Poppin' in for a quick post to share a card I made for There She Goes winter fun challenge.

 

 

 

This week challenge is to create a project with winter fun theme. And, of course I am reaching for my cute Pugalicious set. It didn't show well on the picture, but the snow is actually outlined with sticklers for some extra glitter.

 

Hm... I wonder if Eli would let me put antlers headband on him. I have a feeling that's not going to go well. Hah...

Stripes & Dots

There's just something very sweet about ducky. Since I was a kid, I always love duck images, including the classic hot temper Donald Duck. In fact my subscription Donald Duck magazine was the longest subscription I ever had.

Anyway, the reason I am talking about ducks is because my latest card for There She Goes Stamp is using these super cute ducks from TSG Lucky Duck set. I made this card this week TSG Pattern Power challenge. Basically the challenge is to create a project using both stripes & dots pattern.

Pugalicious Blog Hop

We love our animal stamps here at There She Goes, and we love it even more when you can dress up your animals for the holidays!! Who doesn't like putting antlers on a pug, anyway?! (Psst... yours truly might or might have not begged for this pug set. Not that I am obsessed with pugs or anything like that... haha...)

For my card I combine the pug with the Snow Globe set and cover the snow globe with stickles. An, the neat thing about this card, the pug is movable. Yep, you could twirl the pug on the snow globe.

To make the pug movable, I punched a hole in the middle of the snow globe, attached a pop-dot to the pug, put it through the hole and adhere the pop-dot to a button.

I notice that my pile of mini cards is growing and I am okay with that. I really love this size of card 3" x 4.25".

Good morning, peeps and happy Monday! So sorry that my blog been so neglected this past couple weeks. 

Now that things kind of back to normal at the office, am optimistic that I can get back to blogging regularly. :) Starts with new challenge from There She Goes Stamp, shall we?

This week, TSG is challenging us to be prepared and get our Christmas card done early. Of course, I totally agree with this as I will need lots of cards done for the card drive. :)

I love snow globe and even have a small collection of snow globe. Seeing the glitter floating around always mesmerize me. So, needless to say I also love making card with snow globe image. For the snow underneath the snowman I use white opal liquid pearls. Then for extra sparkle, I trace the snow globe outline with Star Dust stickles.

You Are One of My Nicest Thoughts

Hi all. Through out this week, There She Stamp is highlighting some previously released sets. You can see the post for Home Sweet Home Halloween Addition, You're A Hoot, and Pumpkins On The Vine on TSG Blog. 

For today, the Trendsetters were asked to create new project using one of those set. As usual, I can;t resist sweet image, so I created my card using Pumpkins On The Vine set.

I love that squirrel! :) Actually when it comes to card making, fall theme card is one of the biggest challenge for me. I mean, I love the fall color in nature, but when it comes to cards, they are my least favorite color combo to use. Luckily, I have this old stash of SEI patterned paper that I thought is perfect for fall card and use that as the base for my card.
