You Color My World

Hi peeps. Happy Monday. Today I want to share this card that I made inspired by the classsic View Master toy. I remember loving this toy & always have fun viewing the various reel.

I actually made this card long time ago for a submission & I realized that I never share this card. Can't let that happen, right?

I cut the circle using Silhouette Cameo and then I traced out all the opening, so I know where to stamp my images. I love Panda, maybe because when I was growing up the most famous panda back then was named Lingling. Same as my name. :) So, for this one I used Mama Elephant Pandamonium & they're are just perfect for the opening.

Looking at some classic toys, I can't help but wonder if kids nowadays still know these toys. I think our kids this day spend so much time on gadgets & are missing out on a lot of classic toys that feed your imagination & sense of wonder. Maybe I am old school in certain way. Hah!

Well peeps, that's all from me today. May your weeks starts off wonderfully. Cheers....

Honey Bee Stamps Bee Bold Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to Honey Bee Stamps Bee Bold Blog Hop. All the new release sets from Honey Bee are now available in store and today we have line up several fun & creative projects for your inspiration using the new sets.

If you've been following my blog, you know that I am a big time animal lover. Needless to say, when I saw the No Probllama, I did a happy squealing. Hah! This llama is so darn cute!

For my card, I keep it clean & semi simple. After I stamped & colored the llama, I die cut the sentiment on the panel using Bee Bold Alphabet dies. Then, I trace the opening on a piece of cardstock and inked it with distress oxide inks. I put this piece behind the letter opening. Adhere the panel with foam tape. Finish by adding some sequins from Cloudy Day sequin mix.

Okay, on to the next card. This time, I am using Frappe Shake Card dies. Now, you can use this dies to make frappe shape card, or you could cut it in half and use it on normal rectangle card. In all honesty, I was going to do the shape card, but I messed up the coloring and since I don't like to waste paper, I decided to just cut it and use the still blank site & start over. :)

I inked the cardstock with distess oxide ink and then run my wet watercolor brush over it to kind of soften the colors & the blending. Once it dry, I die cut the "thankful" sentiment. And then stamp the sentiment from Grateful set. I also use the Sentiment Banner dies to highlight the word friendship. I sprinkle some Candlelight confetti mix to mimick the bubble tea look, which is one of my favorite drink.

GIVEAWAY:

Woot, woot! Honey Bee is giving away two $50 gift certificate to the store. All you need to do is leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win. Winners will be announced on HERE of the Honey Bee blog on August 10th.

Sending Lots of Love

Recently, I mentioned to some friend, how sometimes card that I love so much, didn't get that much love from everyone else & yet sometime a card that I thought was blah, get lots of love. Truly show how everyone have different taste, right?

But, when you love a creation so much & those that you look up to think the same way, it's like yay, yippie kaiyay! That's the case with my card that I posted yesterday for Simon Says Stamp. I actually almost didn't want to send it to SSS for the FB live, because I spent so much time making that card. At the end, I did mail it out & created another card using similar technique.

I am pretty excited with this card as well. I sure do love the color combination on this one. So glad that I decided to stick it out and keep working on my no  line watercoloring. I wanted to give up when I made the first card (see my post from t he day before HERE) because at the beginning it just didn't look right & I wanted to just toss it. Luckily, some part of me keep pushing not to do so & now I am inspired to practice more on my watercoloring.

Make sure you check  out Simon Says Stamp blog today as today they have fun hop to celebrate their Friendly Frolic release.

And, I am up on The Ton blog today as well, so check it out will you. May your Friday be a great one. Cheers...

Watercolor Sketch Lotus

Hi peeps! I am excited to share today's card as this was among my rare attempt at no line watercoloring. Hah!

I received this gorgeous Simon Says Stamp Sketch Lotus Flowers & let just say I was so happy when I got it as it is right up my alley. This set is part of the new Friendly Frolic release from Simon Says Stamp that's available starting today.

I stamped the flowers repeatedly using distress ink Antique Linen and then watercolor it. I kind of dig the hard transition between the colors, so on purpose I decided  not to dilute them more to soften the line. Maybe that's not the right way, but hey, that's the fun part of creating, right? Just play & have fun.

Am also entering this card to Simon Says Stamp July Work It Wednesday which is all about watercolor and to SSS Wednesday Anything Goes challenge. I have another card made using this set, which I will share tomorrow. So, stay tune... Cheers....

Birthday Otrichs

Hi peeps. How's it  going? This weekend, I immerse myself in some crafting time. Often, this hobby, card making, helps me to deal with things. It allows me to just let my  mind wander & become a therapy for me. :)

I work on some design team assignment, but I also make card just for fun. It's been a while where I see a set & immediately think I have to have this set. Well, it happened with this Wplus9 Oh My Gostrich! set. I saw it & it was love at first sight. I just thought the ostrichs look soooo cute! Can't resist them.

For this card, I combined it with Honey Bee Hello Gorgeous set. I love the way the flower wreath frame the banner & the ostrichs.

Seriously, this is the cutest ostrich set ever! As animal lover, I sure love cute animal sets.

Well, that's all for me today.

Oh yes, I can't go without announcing the winner from Get Cracking on Christmas hop. Congratulations, Sue D, you're the lucky winner for the Pinkfresh Studio Joy & Cheer stamp & dies set. Please email me with your mailing information.

May your week starts off wonderfully. Cheers....

Get Cracking on Christmas Challenge Hop

Every year, come Chrismas time I always scramble to make Christmas cards. I mean, I always have the good intention on getting ready early, but in reality that very rarely happen.

And, yep, I have quite a few cute holiday sets that I haven’t even had a chance to play with yet.

So, Jenn Shurkus was mentioning about this challenge she does with our crafty friends Chari and Cheiron. Basically they challenge each other to create at least one-holiday card a month. Well, ofr this month, she sent open invitation for us to join this hop. Since I need to do this to build up my Christmas card stash, of course I jump in at the chance.

You should arrive here from my dear friend, the super talented, Emily Midgett. In case you miss any stop, I have complete link of the hop participants at the end of the post.

So, for my card, I played with Pinkfresh Studio Happy Holidays set. I think this is a great set to use for mass produce as there's not way too many area to color.

To add some festive feeling to the card, I trace the Happy Holidays part with Copic Spica glitter pen. Below is pic of the card from different angle and you could see the shimmer on the sentiment and the trees.

GIVEAWAY
Now, how about a giveaway to make the hop more fun. Along the way, some of the hop participants will do giveaway. You will need to check each blog. For my blog, I am giving away this Pinkfresh Studio Joy & Cheer stamp & dies set.

All you need to do is to leave a comment here and if you'd like to follow me on Instagram, you can find me under "Wirianta". It's not a requirement as I really prefer people to follow because they want to. Please leave your comment here by midnight, Sunday 7/22/2018. Winner will be announce on Monday 7/23/2018.

Well lovely peeps, that's all from me for today. From here, please hop on over to the sweet & talented Tifany DeGough. Thank you all for joining in & I hope you enjoy the hop. Cheers...

SugarPea Designs Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

Hi peeps! Happy Friday and welcome to SugarPea Designs Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop! I hope by now many of you have our cute Summer Release in your hot little hands. The SugarPea design team has created fabulous projects to inspire you with even MORE creative possibilities featuring our newest and hottest products!

Let's get on with it, shall we? For this hop, I played with Geo Floral CoverPlate SugarCut and made a couple colorful cards.

One card has cool tone and one has warm tone. To start I used various distress & distress oxide inks to color the panels. Once that done, ran the panel & the coverplate through the dies machine & adhere the panels to the card base.

Because of the pattern and the colors, I feel like I don't need to add anything else. I am a CAS girl at heart, so I like to keep things minimal. Just add sentiment. The sentiment is from the Spring release Topiary Garden set. I just love the font combo on these sentiments.

I framed the sentiment so it doesn't just disappear on the card. Again, I simply colored a piece of cardstock in the color that match the background and use that as my frame. I actually almost  tempted to add some liquid enamel to the background, but then I don't want to end up messing the card. Sometime you just have to know when to stop, right? ;)

Now, giveaway time! How would you like to WIN a $20 gift certificate to spend on SugarPea Designs store? Please visit with each of our design team members listed below and leave a comment for your chance to win! The winner will be announced on Friday, July 20th.

Well, that's all from me today peeps. Thank you for stopping by here, enjoy the hop & may your weekend starts off wonderfully. Cheers...

Pinkfresh Studio Lined Floral Hello

Hi peeps. Popping in for a quick post to share this card that I made using Pinkfresh Studio Lined Floral Background stamp.

I actually stamped this panel back in April during a craft retreat and it's been sitting in my need-to-finish pile. And, I finally did it!! Yay...

As you may notice, I haven't blog as regularly. I actually been sharing more on Instagram. If you'd like to follow me on Instagram, you can find me under Wirianta. Just a heads up, I am sharing more than cards there. I don't separate between personal and cards, so you will see my pups & family pic as well. :)

Well, as I said short one. Cheers...

I love the design of the feathers on BoHo Feathers set. It looks pretty and delicate.

I stamped and heat embossed the feathers on a piece of watercolor cardstock and  then went to town & add the watercolor rainbow to the panel. For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of vellum and wrapped it around the panel. Then, I adhere the panel to the card base.

Since I love bling, I just had to add some rhinestone sequins for finishing touches.

SugarPea Designs Summer Release: Day 2

Hi peeps, welcome to Day 2 of our Summer Product Release! We are sharing Sweet Peek for the 15 NEW products that will be available for purchase starting this Friday, June 15th at 6 PM EST in the SPD Store.

Today, we are introducing Geometric Floral Coverplate, Stuck On You Stamp & Dies set. I chose to focus on the Geometric Floral Coverplate set and made this card below.

I love the way this card turned out, but oh my goodness!! The whole time doing it part of me was like what was I thinking?? Took me forever to in lay the cut out pieces. So, I first die color a white cardstock panel with some oxide distress ink. Once that done, I ran it through the die cut machine and put that aside. Next, I ran a black cardstock through.

I adhere the black cut out to the card base and then one by one pick up the cut out color parts and laid it inside the black frame one by one. Took me about half a day. Hah! Luckily, I was doing this during a crafting day with friends, so at least I get to chat while working on this. The thanks die is from previous release.

Here's a peek at all the sets that being introduced today.

Today we are introducing the adorable Llama Just Say stamp & dies set.  Let me just say this release got me squealing with delight. I love llama and so excited when I saw this cute set.

I cut the panel using Postage Stamp Coverplate and after I cut it, without removing the dies, I added the green and blue shadow. Once that done, I stamped the succulent directly on the panel and color it. Then I work on the llama. Stamp, color, die cut it and adhere it to the panel with pop dots. Added the sentiment. Adhere the panel to the card base and finished by adding some enamel dew drops.

I have a friend in mine to whom I want to send this card to. I hope she'll like it. Here's a look at the set.

Honey Bee Stamps & WOW Blog Hop

** For The Ton Summer Blog Hop please scroll down or click HERE**

Hi peeps, welcome to a very special Blog Hop collaboration with the WOW! Embossing Powder & Honeybee Stamps.

The best part of having a blog hop is meeting, sharing and inspiring one another in this beautiful crafting community. We feel so blessed to have our path’s cross with each other and we all hope this collaboration inspires everyone.

If you are hopping along, you should have come from Rosali Bartz blog. If you get lost along the way, head back over to the Honeybee Stamps / WOW! Embossing Powder blog for the complete list of designers joining in the hop.

There's quite a few blog for you to visit, so let's get on with it, shall we. Here's the card I created for this hop.

To start I stamped the image from Honey Bee Zen Bouquet on a piece of watercolor cardstock and heat embossed it with WOW! Rose Gold embossing powder. So, pretty, right? What can I say, I love working with this set and that rose gold is such a beautiful color.

Once I heat embossed the image, then I watercolor the image. I find this process very therapeutic. I just went to town with all my favorite color and am pretty happy with the way this turned out. Once it dry, I trim the edge with an oval cutter (you could also use a curve dies) and adhere the panel to the card base.

For the sentiment, I used Love Bug set on a strip of vellum and heat embossed it with WOW! Super Fine White embossing powder (seriously this is my favorite white embossing powder). Trim the vellum and adhere it to the card. Tip: to adhere the vellum, I place the liquid glue behind the letters, so it didn't show to the front of the vellum. Finish by adding some Wedding Ring Rhinestones (I also place one of the rhinestone on the border of the vellum and the card, to help hold the vellum down).

So, what do you think? I hope you like it as much as I enjoy making this card. :)
***GIVEAWAY***
No blog hop is complete without some prizes. Are you ready for some awesome giveaways? Each Company is giving away!!
Honey Bee Stamps - $50 Gift Card
WOW! Embossing Powder- Any 6 powders of your choosing, along with a WOW carrying case to store you powders safely in.

The only think you need to do for a chance to win is leave a comment on each of the design team member’s blog hop.

The Winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on ALL THE POSTS of this blog hop by 12 pm EST on 14th June 2018. and will be announced on the blog on 15th June 2018.

That's all from me and I hope you enjoy the hop. From here please hop on over to Olga Lukaseviciene for more fun inspiration. Thank you so much for stopping by here. Have a blessed Friday everyone.

The Ton Summer Kickoff Blog Hop

Hi peeps! Welcome to The Ton Summer Kickoff Blog Hop. I am so excited to have you joining us as we have some pretty & fun projects to share with you. This hop basically just a fun hop to highlight products that been released recently. And, we have quite a few!!

So, let's get on with it, shall we as I have quite a few cards to share with you. 1st up is this happy, colorful card using Butterfly Wings - Swallowtail set.

I first stamped the butterfly wings to yupo paper and then add the alcohol inks to the paper, blowing the ink around with a straw to help spread the color. Then before the ink complete dry, I added some loose gold gilding flakes. Once that done, I die cut the word hello from Peony Laurel dies set.

Next is a card that is just a slight variation from the 1st card.

This card was actually my almost fail card. When I did this card, I did the alcohol ink first and then when I tried to stamp the wings, the ink just wouldn't stick. So, after almost ditching it, I found that I can save it by using the Pop-Up Butterfly Dies - Swallowtail (I simply trim the part that I don't need, you'll see it on my last card).

Now, my last card definitely complete opposite of the first two cards. This one all soft!! I stamped Magnolia Fields for the background and added some shadows to the flower buds with Copic markers. Then I stamped the Butterfly Wings Monarch, color it with Copic and die cut the wing with the Pop-Up Butterfly Dies Monarch. The sentiment is from Peony Laurel set.

Now there's 5 pieces on the Pop-Up Butterfly Dies Monarch, 2 of them are for the pop-up inside the card (although you can use it for the outside just like I did with my 2nd card, by trimming the rectangle strip that allow you to adhere the wings inside). Once I die cut the pieces, I inked them and then slide the pieces together and adhere to the card. And, tadddaaaa... you have this beautiful surprise when you open the card. Gorgeous right?

**GIVEAWAY**
Of course, we have giveaway!! We are giving away a stamp set from the Ton of your own choice (not including the bundle) for each stop on the hop. To qualify you need to leave a comment on each blog by midnight Sunday, June 10, 2018. Winners will be announced on The Ton blog shortly after that.

Now, are you ready to hop? Grab your drink (for me it'll be coffee) and hop along. Below is the complete list of the hop participants. Enjoy the hop & thank you for joining us & for stopping by here. Cheers....
