An ornament & a card

Hmm... I so did not want to get up this morning. It was rainy & dark, such perfect weather to sleep in. Of course, the dogs didn't agree, for them breakfast time is breakfast time whether it's rainy or not. Nick practically just jumped on the bed and yep, that's enough to get us up.

So, how's your morning? Do you have nice weather or sleep in weather? LOL, I actually like rainy, stormy weather, but only when I get to stay at home & chillin'. Not for driving in traffic.

Anyway, to brighten the day, I have a couple stuff for you. First up, is my project for Digital Doodles using  "Frosty Friend". This ornament is inspired by Tiffany's ornament here. Thank you for the inpiration, Tiff! I am not 100% satisfied with the result, but considering this was my 1st try, I think we just let go of perfection, right? :) I printed the snowman twice, but flipped one of them, so I can glued them back to back, so when you look on the other side, it looks the same.

Challenges:
ABC Challenge - glitter
Bee Crafty - christmas

The Digital Doodles girls has some awesome eye candies this week, so check them all out here.

Edited to add: All Digital Doodles digi stamps are on sale for 25% off at Two Peas In A Bucket. Good excuse to go shopping!! :)

Next, is a card I made for EBTKS color challenge and Moxie Fab Diggin' on Damask. Never thought I would ever say this, I really have fun playing with the damask motif. Especially when you have pretty paper like this! Love it when a card come together so effortlessly like this. Quick & simple, yet pretty.

Challenges:
Fab 'n' Funky - clean and simple
Simon Says Stamp - punches or die cuts
Paper Players - anything goes
Jay Gee's Nook - inspired by pic

I also want to do a quick birthday shout out to my girl, Leslie, who totally knows how to make me laugh out loud! Seriously, she could deliver some lines with serious face, yet it's like the funniest thing. She's the one that call me "rainbow & sunhine" and been wanting me to rap for her (never gonna happen, LOL). Happy birthday, Les!! May this year be your best one, yet!! Love ya bunches!

Okie dokie, have a great Tuesday everyone! And, please, please don't forget that we only have 2 weeks left to collect cards for Caring Hearts Card Drive. Let's make this a successfull drive by sending as many cards as you can! Thank you so much to all that participate. I appreciate you very much! Hugs.

Cute projects today, Vera! I had to be up extra early this morning, and it was still dark - do NOT like that! But now that the sun is up it's a gorgeous sunny, blue-skied day, although really chilly - it went into the 20's last night!!
