Verve Fan Blog Hop

After a bunch of simple cards lately, I decided it's time to switch gear a bit. Those of you who have followed me for awhile, you know I don't usually do many layer. Usually just 2 layers the most? Well, in an effort to clean my scraps pile, I step out of my comfort zone and decided to play with a bit more layers and join Verve Fan Blog Hop.

And, here's the result. I make this card using Verve  March Week 1 sketch and following Catered Crop FTR6 challenge. I follow their recipe by using pattern papers, lots of colors, distress inks, pearls, and ribbon.

That Irish blessings is from Verve "Blessings" set, which is one of my favorite Verve set. I think the Irish blessings are so poetic and sweet. Definitely the kind of wish that I like to wish to my love ones.
