Lawscaping Guest DT

Edited: to add the direct link to Nancy's blog post for flipping the image technique.

Through blogging I have met quite a few blogging friends that I simply adore. One of them is the cheerful & sweet Laurel Beard from Lawnscaping Challenge (she's also on Wee Memories DT with me). She's always so supportive, thoughtful, and sweet. I truly hope I can meet this girl in person someday.

Anyway, a couple months ago, she asked me if I'd be interested to be  their June Guest DT. Of course, my reply was immediate YES!!! I am such a big fan on Lawn Fawn stamps and I love all the fun inspirations and challenges at Lawnscaping. This is totally no brainer for me. :) Thank you Laurel for having me!

Their new challenge theme is to create clean and simple card and we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamps. You can find all the challenge details at HERE.

This little hermit crab is from Critters in the Sea set. I think it often get neglected because of it's small size, so I decided to make it as the focus of this card. To create the flip image, I used stamping on  tissue paper technique that I learned from Nancy (thank you, Nancy for sharing this technique).

I thought the way their claws holding out looks as if their holding hand. Kind of romantic and cute, don't you think? :) I hope you will join us on this fun challenge. You have 2 weeks to enter and I am really looking forward to seeing your fun creations! Don't forget to check out the Lawnscaping DT fabulous creations.

Hope you all have a great start of the week!

Girl, you are so sweet! Thank you so very much for the kind words and I feel EXACTLY the same way!!!!! I love your card and love that you chose to make those little crabs your feature. You are right. I neglect them because they are so small but you have inspired me not to discard my smaller images... And I can't wait to check out the tutorial on the reverse stamping because I have no clue how to do that! :) Thanks girl so much for GD with us!!!! I am so excited!!!

Love these little crabs holding hands. I went to Nancy's blog to see how you make a mirror image but wasn't sure where to look. Can you tell me which post to refer to by any chance? That definition panel is very cool too. Love this card! Look forward to seeing more from you this month at Lawnscapings!

This is adorable! I, too, have a heart for the often overlooked stamp images! It's like they're the underdog, so I have to find a way to showcase them (as you'll see on my mouse card for this challenge). This is really fun. And I love that you made them holding hands! Too cute. So happy to have you guest designing with us this month!

This is such a great CAS card! I love it. Thank you so much for joining us this month at Lawnscaping... we're glad to have you! You're totally right about the cute crab being neglected. I don't think I've ever used it, but I will now! Thanks for the challenge. :)
