SOG Black & White

After went through a period of creative slump, things finally turned around and for a week or so, I was on a roll. I made about 40 cards. Most were for submission (thus the reason for empty blog) and some were DT works.

Crossing fingers that I can have quite a few projects get picked up. The way I look at it, the harder we work to achieve something, the more satisfying the payoff when it happened, although on the flip side, the chance for heart break could also be higher. But, hey... for anything that worth having you have to work for it, right.

The good thing about the whole thing is that I am loving what I am doing. At the worst, the one that didn't get pickup I can always submit to different magazine and I have cards ready for the blog for when I need it. So, it's kind of win-win situation.

Anyway, one of the card that I  made is this card for Some Odd Girl black and white challenge. You can use colors on your project, except for the image. Honestly, I freaked out a bit when I found out about this challenge. I was intimidated by black and white only coloring. Thank goodness, I have fabulous team mate who has amazing coloring skills, so I can learn from them. :)

I used Sweet Thinkin' Mae and I think for my first attempt, I did pretty good . LOL, yes.. I believe in cheering on myself... its' better than beating on myself. ;)

Check out what my team mate make for this challenge HERE. Don't forget, today is the last day to sign up for Cards That Care blog hop. If you want to get involve email me today. Gotta go. Today I am hanging out with my awesome sister-in-law. Cheers...
