Lawn Fawn is one of my favorite company. So, when I saw their Lawn Fawn CHA Winter 2012challenge, I just have to play along.
Last year, I made a similar card like the one I made today. I pretty much keep the same concept and keep the log background. But for the polaroid pic, I decided to go with more colorful look, so it looks more cheerful. :)
Speaking about happy wishes, I want to say thank you as well to those who left such a sweet comment & wishes for my mom's birthday. We both appreciate it very much. Wanna see a couple pics from her surprise birthday party? My SIL is so awesome. So, I wouldn't feel left behind, she sent me a bunch of pictures as soon as the party done, so I could share the moment. :) I love my SIL.
Do you see that cake? Isn't it humongous and gorgeous?? The rose cake was surrounded by 70 red roses. Leave it to my SIL to plan amazing goodies.
This, is my FAVORITE picture!! My cousin-in-law took it. I laughed as soon as I saw it. I am guessing it's my little brother's idea. He and his fiance always take a pose where he picks her up and vice versa. Yep, that slim girl in red... she's strong! :)
I love my goofy & fun family. Counting the days till I see them again!!

OHHHHHH! I just love your card--and that CAKE!! OH MY--yummy!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
Great photos - also great that your SIL sent them to you so you would be involved/included. I know it must have been tough not being able to be there with them all to celebrate. Happy Birthday to your Mom. Hugs and best wishes for a wonderful 2012.
