Hi peeps. A quick post here as I just want to share this card that I made for My Favorite Things sketch challenge # 316. Hah... as usual, I made it last minute. At least this time, I didn't missed the deadline. Well, barely. ;)

And, here's my card based on this sketch. Super clean look, the way I like it.

I think sending an encouragement or acknowledgement card is a good thing to do. Too often we take the awesome people in our life for granted.  Why not let them know?

The Ton’s 2017 Anniversary Release Blog Hop

Hi lovely peeps! Welcome to The Ton's 2017 Anniversary release blog hop. You should have arrived here from Chris Dayton's blog. The hop starts at The Ton's Blog.

By now, all the goodies we have shown you are available for purchase at the store. I am curious, what's on your must have list? For me, it's the flowers. I fall in love with The Ton through their flower sets and to this day I consider their flower sets among my favorite.

So, no surprise here, one of my card for today's hop is featuring one of the bloom beauty, the Morning Glory Border. Such fun set to color.

I colored them with ZIG Kuretake Real Clean Brush. Love their bright colors. Blue & green are very soothing & refreshing for me. For some extra texture & embellishment I added the Winter Thaw Couture Mix. It matched this card color scheme so perfectly. The word "My Favorite" was created using Scripty Alpha Upper & Scripty Alpha Lower. Gotta love the freedom to create your own sentiment, right?

For my 2nd card, I turned to the Brushed You sentiment. It's kind of hard to see, but I also used the Freestyle Stripe to add pattern to the left side of the card in tone on tone hue. When you click on the pic below, you can see the card in larger version & it probably showed the stripes better.

I stamped the largest butterfly first, then kind of going back & forth placing the you without stamping it, yet just to make sure I like the butterflies placement. Once all the butterflies are in place, I stamped the word "you" using Misti stamping tool, so I can stamped the gold ink a couple times to get good solid impression. Next,  the fun part!

The Ton Anniversary Release Day 4

Hi everyone and welcome to day 4 of The Ton anniversary release. I hope you've been enjoying our new releases inspiration. Today, we are introducing City Girls Park Life, City Girls Special Day, Fountain Terrace background stamp, Bride Tribe, and Beautiful Day Bicycle.

For my first card today, I am using Beautiful Day Bicycle.

This set is simply delightful, don't you agree? To add the sense of happy, I ground the bicycle on a rainbow color base. And, that fantastis strip of sparkle is from Holo Silver Foil Paper. In person, the hologram sparkle make this card super fun in my opinion.

And, those little embellishment are the dew drops. I love using them to add texture to my card. Now, all the new products are available in the store today!! Yay! So, get your shopping on.

The Ton Anniversary Release Day 3

Hi sweets! I think today's greetings capture today's introduction for The Ton new sets perfectly. Why? Cause today, we're introducing super sweet sets of one f my favorite dessert snack! For our 3rd day, we're introducing Sweet Macarons, Macarons, Party Fans.

For flower lovers, no worries, we have more beauties to introduce too. You will love the new Poppy Garden & Morning Glory Border.

Let's get on with it. My 1 st card is totally one of my favorite from this week, cause.... what else... it has macarons & cute puppy. You know I am like big time dog lover right? I mean, rescue groups are among my favorite group to support.

Come on, sweetness overload, yes? I am very picky when it comes to my macarons. I have to say having tried several macarons place, one of my top place to go for macarons is Tout Suites in Houston. The cream inside is so moist & delicious & they taste amazing!! Seriously, they are the best! Oh yeah, I supposed to talk about the card. Sorry, my mind wander quickly sometime. Hah!

Here's a close up of the card. This puppy is from previously release set.

Next, is my card featuring the beautiful Poppy  Garden. This set makes me swoon.... 

For the sentiment, I used the Scripty Alphabet Lower to create the word birthday. I really, really love this alphabet set. They're pretty and allows you to create whatever word you want in such a pretty way. Here's a pic of it from a different angle, just cause I want to. ;)

SugarPea Designs Mix it U p Challenge #27

Hi everyone. Just want to pop in real quick to share this card I made for SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge # 27. Fort his month, it's super easy peasy as the theme is.... what else? Anything goes. :)

Here's my card using this cutie pie from Happy Mail set. 

For the background (I know, it's kind of hard to see, but there's a bunch of xoxo on it), I used the xo from Talk Is Chic and just stamped  them repeatedly directly on the card base. Then I die cut a piece of patterned paper from It's A Celebration using SugarCut Dies Notebook Journal Card.

I think this li'l fella will make anyone smile with its cuteness. And, did you see the li'l smooches on its cheek? I love that smooches!!

Unfortunately, there is an additional stamp set (one that has not been debuted) that also had to be pulled from this release. Thus, The Ton has a total of 26 new designs releasing on Thursday, April 12. We hope you understand!**

Hi everyone & welcome to day 2 of The Ton anniversary release week. We have plenty more new sets to share with you.

For today, we are introducing Beautiful Butterflies 1, Beautiful Butterflies 2, Beautiful Butterflies 3, Brushed Love, Brushed Hugs, Brushed You, Dahlia Close Up, The new Pretty, Oscar & Oscar Superlatives.

I love butterflies. And, The Ton not only releasing 1, but 3 beautiful butterfly sets. I love that the sets not only showing the butterflies from the front, but also from the side. Without further delay, here's my 1st card.

Am keeping it simple & clean. This is one of those card that you can simply create a set for. Simply change the butterfly color and you can have a whole set of rainbow colored cards. The large brushed you sentiment totally take center stage against the soft colored butterflies.

For my next card, I go with more colors. After all, I sure love colors. The butterflies color combo is one of my favorite color combo.

The hugs was covered with shimmer. Below is a close up of the card. I kind of have to put the card right under my Ott light to capture the shimmer.
