Hi peeps. I am back with a second card for the day. This time, I am sharing this card I made for The Ton February challenge, which has the theme LOVE.
I think when people think of this theme challenge, we tend to think of pink or red, the color of Valentine. Well, now & then I like thinking differently. Why not venture out & try out fun, unusual color combo to convey love? Love is not only for Valentine, right? And, Valentine doesn't have to be pink or red only.
I am definitely one of those people who have no problem saying I love you, including to my friends. With my friend in mind, I decided to do a feminine, purple girly card.
And, yep, my tendency for unusual color combo came out. At first, I was like.... hm... maybe I made a mistake with the color combo. But then, I was like this combo kind of grow on me. So, I decided to go forward & let it be. :)
I used Poppy Garden Cling Background, added details with Copic & finish with sentiment from I Got You set. For added visual interest, I stamped the butterflies from the same background stamp in different color ink, fussy cut it & adhere to the card with pop dots.
You have about a month to play along, so I sure hope you will join our fun challenge. Just for playing along, you'll get enter for a chance to win $50 of The Ton gift card. You can find all the challenge details & enter your card HERE.
That's it from me today. May your February be a blessed one.
