Today, I am showcasing the beautiful Waves stencil. I love, love, love this stencil. I did early sneak peek for this with my card from yesterday.

For today's card, I started by spraying one side of the stencil with Pixie Spray. Let it air for about a minute before placing the stencil on the card panel. Then on my work space, I mix some Glitz glitter gel with various color alcohol ink. I guess I didn't work fast enough, because by the time I was done, some of the gel already dried on the stencil and it cause some paper pulling when I lifted the stencil.
My wave result is not as crisp as I wanted, but I decided not to be too hard on myself and just continue using the panel instead of obsessing over the imperfection. It really is okay to let go!! :)
Next, I work on the sweet bear from Hey Summer that we introduced on day 3. Simpley colored him with Copic marker and adhere directly to the glittery wave. Finished by stamping the sentiment.
And, today, we're also introducing Cool Treat, which I will use on my project for SugarPea Mix It Up challenge (you'll see it next week on SPD blog).
