Spellbinders' January Club Kits

Hi all. Let me start by wishing you all a very Happy New Year!! May this coming year be a good one for all of us. I am praying for good, peaceful year. As this post go up, I'm celebrating this New Year in Indonesia and I am so very grateful for the chance of celebrating in my home country again. It's been over a decade since I get to do this. So very grateful.

And, of course, new year, new month, also means new club kits from Spellbinders. :) This time, I am joining Spellbinders Embossing Club Kit and to kick things off, I made 2 cards with this month embossing folder.

I started by embossing a piece of cardstock panel and then I did light ink blending on the embossed areas. Next, I die cut some leaves from Sealed Bouquet Etched Dies set. Colored with greenk inks. Stamped sentiment from Many Birthdays set (psst... this set is currently on sale).Arrange the leaves behind the sentiment and adhere the sentiment with foam adhesive. Finish by adding some sequins.

For my 2nd card, I added some inks to the embossing folder with a brayer. Embossed the cardstock and to make the ink blended better, I sprayed the cardstock lightly with water. After I did this, I realized I should have wet the cardstock before I run it, but

My  next card is featuring January Glimmer Club kit.

Well peeps, as this post goes up, I’d be enjoying my last days of hanging out with my family before I have to head back home to the States. I am grateful for the chance of celebrating my mom’s birthday with her, in person, something I haven’t been able to do in over a decade.

I wish you all q very happy New Year and may 2023 brings us all good health, prosperity & many blessings. Cheers….
