Happy Friday and welcome to Paper Crafts Holiday Cards & More blog hop. We are celebrating this super fun & festive issue filled with many awesome ideas for the holidays. You should arrive here from Kelly Griglione blog.
For this hop, we're asked to create a festive treat wrap and share a favorite holiday recipe. One of my project that get published in this issue is a cookie tote that looked like a gingerbread house. So, continuing with the house theme, I decided to create two house cookie box. I am also entering this for Moxie Fab Holiday Food & Treat Wrap challenge.
Both house were made using Silhouette. I love that machine. I really do. :) Now, for the first house I decorate the top with sparkly May Arts ribbon to add a festive feeling. Colored the window with copic to add warmth to the house. The cute Mrs. Clause is actually one of the gnome from There She Goes My Little Friend set.
The next box is decorated with Santa from PTI Tiny Treats Christmas set and reindeer from PTI Holiday Tags Stamp set. I lined the window with wax paper.
Now, the recipe. I definitely not a cook. In our household my husband is the cook. Thank goodness, other wise I'll be living of cereal and ramen noodle. Ha... But, I do like making dessert. Unfortunately, since there's only the two of us and 3 dogs, I can't make dessert too often. It can be dangerous, if you know what I mean.
My favorite dessert is cheesecake and tiramisu. I've been known to eat them for dinner on rare occasion. For today I decided to share my favorite tiramisu recipe.
If I am not wrong I got this from Kraft website long time ago. One of the reason I like this recipe, no baking required.
TIRAMISU
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
3 cups cold milk
2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
48 NILLA Wafers
½ cup brewed strong MAXWELL HOUSE Coffee, cooled
2 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, coarsely grated
1 cup fresh raspberries
Instructions:
1. Beat cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Beat in milk and dry pudding mixes. Stir in 2 cups COOL WHIP.
1. Beat cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Beat in milk and dry pudding mixes. Stir in 2 cups COOL WHIP.
2. Line 2-1/2-qt. bowl with 24 wafers; drizzle with 1/4 cup coffee. Top with half each of the pudding mixture and chocolate. Repeat all layers.
3. Top with remaining COOL WHIP and raspberries. Refrigerate 2 hours.
Easy peasy. It's great for party since this recipe is for 14-16 servings.
