Patchwok Boo

Hi there. Am popping up to share this cutie patootie ghost courtesy of Spellbinder's Felt Patchwork Boo Etched Dies by Nichol Spohr.

I am a sucker for sweet smiley cutie ghost set like this. Pretty much as long as it reminded me of Casper the friendly ghost. This set is actually made for felt ornaments  but I decided to make card as I can send this card out to my nephew. :)

That's all for me today and enjoy the rest of your weekend. Cheers.

Home For The Holidays

Hi there. When I started in stamping, like many stampers I started with Hero Arts stamp. So, I am excited to play with the new Hero Arts Winter Wreath Bundle set, part of their Home For The Holidays release. Making Christmas cards always one of my favorite thing to make and when you get a cute and fun set it definitely helps big time.

For my card above I went with soft blue background. I think it makes the wreath really popped. And, I love those tiny homes!! Then for my 2nd card, I decided to go bold and make it super festive by pairing red and gold together.

And, last but not least, I went totally clean and simple. What can I say, those tiny house just calling me to make them the star of the card. Seriously with  this Hero Arts Winter Wreath Bundle you can make so many different cards.

Do you usually works on your Christmas cards this early? I know, outside it's blazing hot and sometimes it does feel weird to make Christmas cards now, but at least it helps me avoid rushing last minute when the holidays come. That's all for me today and I wish you all a lovely day.

Yana's Christmas Cats Collection

Hello there crafty peeps. I may be big time dog lovers at heart, but I also love cats. I never have one, but I sure love watching cats video. I think they're very entertaining. Anyway, for today's cards I am showcasing Yana's Christmas Cats Die Bundle.

How cute is that cat? I am a big fan of watching cat videos on Instagram. They sure have fun and sassy personality. And I've seen friends posting pics of their cat getting on their Christmas tree. For the sentiment I used Meowy Christmas Sentiments Press + Foil Plates & Die Set by Yana Smakula. Love the font combo on this sentiment set. For the snow background on the window I simply used white pen.

For my next card, I paired the cat with an older stitching dies club kit that already been discontinue, but since I want to add a little bit of stitching to my card, I decided to use it anyway.

As much as I am a dog person, I sure love making cat theme cards. Hope you enjoy today's cards as much as I enjoy making them. Till next time.

Hummingbird Garden

Hello friends. How are you all doing? Ah, my blog been pretty quiet, isn't it? Well, today I am popping up to share these cards I made using Hummingbird Garden 3D Embossing Folder & Die set by Simon Hurley. Hummingbird is one of my favorite bird, so I am excited to play with this gorgeous set.

For the  card above, I embossed and die cut the hummingbird using watercolor paper, so I can do watercolor on it. Same with the card below.

I am totally channeling my love for soft, pastel colors on these cards. For the sentiment I gold foil them. These are older sentiment set that I still love to use years after I got them. I hope you enjoy today's cards. Thank you for stopping by and please say hi if you do. I appreciate you more than you know.

Glimmer Plate Magic Wonderland

Hi peeps. Wow, my card making days really become far and few in between isn't it. Happy to say that I got to craft a bit and made these 2 cards using Spellbinder's October Glimmer Hot Foil Kit, called Magic Wonderland. I love making Christmas cards.

I was so happy when I saw the pattern for this month's glimmer plate. Come on, falling snow mix with star and hearts? I paired them with older Simon's Snow Globe Etched Dies set.

For both cards, I added vellum to create soft layering. For me personally, vellum is an often forgotten supplies. So, am happy that I remember to use it. :) I hope you enjoy today's cards. I wonder though, does people still visiting blog? Curious on your opinion on this. Till next time, crafty peeps.

Spellbinders October Glimmer Hot Foil

Hello there crafty friends. It's been a good while since I visit  my own blog. Today, I am popping in to share a couple projects I made using Spellbinder's October Glimmer Hot Foil Kit. I have to say, I miss playing with hot foil. Let's get on with the first card, shall we?

For the first card, I ink blended various color on the card panel first. Then, I hot foiled the weave background using Copper hot foil roll. This background foiled beautifully and I was able to use the positive part of the foil on my 2nd card. So, no wasted part. Once that done, I used Autumn Leaves Press Plate for the leaf. For the sentiment, I used Yana's Layered Script Sentiments for the birthday word & for the small sentiment, I used Just Wanted To Say Glimmer plate. I believe both sets already discontinued,  but pretty much you can use any sentiment set you already have on your stash.

The panel on this 2nd card is using the positive part/left over from the 1st card hoy foiling. I used the same  Autumn Leaves Press Plate for the leaf. For the sentiment I used Sending Sentiments (November 2023 Clear Stamp Kit). This set is in clearance right now, so get if you want it, now is the time to get it.

I hope today's cards inspire you to get crafty this weekend. Till next time!!

Santa's Helpers

Hello friends. Am popping in on my often neglected blog to share a couple cards I made featuring Spellbinders' Santa's Elves dies set from North Pole Friends Collection by Simon Hurley. When I am stuck creativity wise, I always find going back to my clean and simple root help to get me unstuck.

I kept both cards super simple and let the elf take center stage, When an image is happy and colorful, I don't think it needed much else.

My card making been slow going lately. I've been dabbling more in watercolor and also been working more on my pictures on Project Life app. That sure does take a lot of my time. I still love card making, though and hoping to get a few more cards done soon. Till then, take care and be kind to one another, friends. <3

Spellbinder's Country Christmas

Hi friends. It's been a while, isn't it? I honestly haven't been crafting as much as I used to. And, I've been exploring other hobby. Currently, I am playing with watercolor. So, yeah card making definitely been reduced quite a bit. Still love it, though! Anyway, I did get some new goodies to play with and want to share the result with you. Today, am showcasing the newly released Christmas Horse Drawn Wagon die set. This is a gorgeous set part of Country Christmas Collection by Annie Williams.

There's quite a bit of details on this die set, but I think that's what make it fun to play with. I decided to make 2 cards while I have the dies out. Might as well. I need to build up my Christmas card stash as they're quite low at the moment.

For the sentiment, I used older sets from I believe a couple years ago. In the past couple of years, I've been trying to be more diligent on using the sets I already have and not just let them collecting dust. So, definitely glad that this sentiment get some love.

Friends, that's all I have for now. Maybe I'll share my watercolor journey on this blog as well. I just do it for fun. Totally in beginner, practicing stage. Is there new thing you are trying at the moment? Please share on the comment section. We can cheer each other on! Till next time...

Trio Pink Star Tulip Birthday Cards

Hi friends. How are you all doing? It's been a while since I posted, since I haven't been crafting as much as I used to. Hubby and I took a trip to Iceland and it was totally amazing beyond our expectation. The landscape and nature of Iceland is simply breathtaking. From the many places I've visited, this was one of my favorite place.

Of course, with trip, catching up with work also comes with it. And, since I took like around 4000 pics, I was also busy sorting through pics and making album for our trip. Yes, I still scrapbook, though digitally nowadays. Anyway, this weekend, I finally spent a few hours in my craft room and just make cards for fun. I made this trio of cards using Altenew Pink Star Tulip set.

Altenew is definitely one of my favorite company. They have many gorgeous sets and I am guilty of hoarding many of them. I pretty much repeat the same step for all 3 cards. Die cut all the pieces from white cardstock and then just ink blend the colors on the pieces.

The first one I go with purple soft teal combination. Then the next one I went with fuchsia, orange combo.

Then for the 3rd card I did blue and blue combo. :)

When I feel stuck creatively, going back to clean and simple card always get my mojo going. It's my favorite kind of card. Well peeps, that's all from me for now. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Till next time. Cheers.

Jump For Joy Trio

Hello friends. It's been a while. I haven't been crafting as much as I'd like, but today I finally have something to share. When I saw this cute Jump For Joy Froggy Fun Bundle, I knew right away I have to have it. Most  importantly because my niece loves frogs. So, any time I see cute frog sets I like to get them so I can make frog theme cards for her.

I ended up with 3 cards so far with this set. For the first card above, I thought a teal frog would be cute. And, of course I made one with the regular green frog color.

For the card below, I paired the frog with the stencil set that comes with the bundle. Sentiments on each card comes from the stamp set that also part of the bundle. I mean, seriously, you can make cards for many occasions with this Jump For Joy Froggy Fun Bundle.

I hope you enjoy today's cards. Till next time.

Artsy Florals Cards

Hi friends. This year, I am determine to use more and more of older sets that I have on my stash. After all, in current economy, we all being pretty careful with our spending and honestly going through my old stash almost felt like shopping, because I forgot  that I have some of the sets that I found.

Today I am playing with Pinkfresh Studio Artsy Floral Washi set. And, the good thing when creating just for fun, I get to mix and match sets from different companies.

For the card above, I die cut the scallop frame using The Ton Scalloped A2 Nested Dies. Then I arrange all the flowers that I die cut using Coordinated Artsy Floral Dies. Added butterfly from Spellbinders Floral Friendship collection. Finished by adding the sentiment.

On to the next card. This is definitely not my typical style. Adding lots of layer is outside my comfort zone, yet it's fun to try.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards friends. Till next time.

Playful Watercolor

Hi friends. Happy 2025! Hope you all started this year in a wonderful way.

For this year, my intention is to creat emore with sets that I already owned. I feel like I tend to focus too much on new sets. Meanwhile I have many older sets that I still love and I feel guilty of letting them just collecting dust.

So, as part of my intention, I want to start by sharing this duo that I made just for fun featuring Altenew Dynamic Duo Playful Watercolor set. I had this set sitting in my pile for a while and boy, once I start I could feel that this is the set that I could use to jumpstart whenever I have creative block.

I simply ink up the flower and the leaves in 2 color to create the color gradient. Then, I inked up some of the flowers, fussy cut it and adhere with foam adhesive to create extra texture.

For both card for the sentiment I used an old sets from My Favorite Things. I believe this set was from 2016 set that I got when I was part of their challenge DT. Yep, it's that old. And, I kept it  because I like the sentiment design.

I hope you enjoy today's cards and hope I can inspire you to use the olders sets on your stash. I am contemplating of making this a weekly challenge to myself. Hah! Or at the very least every 2 weeks. I am being realistic here. Care to join? :)

That's all I have for today friends. I wish you all a year filled with good health, grace and blessings. Cheers...

The Ton December Release

Hi friends. Welcome to The Ton December release. We have quite a few fun, goodies line up for this release. But, as bird lover, I just have to showcase this Cozy Chickadee set. I love Chickadees. I think they're such a pretty birds.

For the background, I used one of the postage frame from Postage Nested die set. After cutting it, I kept the die on it to keep as masking and ink blend Hot Tourmaline on the bottom of the frame. Adhere frame to card base.

For teh bird, once I die cut all the pieces from white cardstock, I ink blend Light Onyx for the feather. For the head I used Copic marker. Put together all the pieces. Then, I worked on the greeneries using the Cascade Bits set. For the branch I used Warm Hazelnut and for the leaves I used Spring Salad and
Evergreen. Die cut the pieces and arrange on the postage frame and then add the bird.

Finished with sentiment and some enamel drops. There's plenty more fun sets from this release. PLease check out The Ton blog for more details from this release. In case I don't get a chance to post before Christmas, I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas. May you holiday season be a joyous one. Warm wishes to you all!

Spellbinders December Stitched Die Set

Hi friends. Happy December. Today. I am sharing my stitched card made using Spellbinders December Stitched Die of the Month. I have to say I love using stitched frame, because they tend to be easy stitch and add nice texture to the card.

I 've been focusing on making Christmas cards lately, so this card is a nice break from it. Also loving the shape of the frame. What do you think?

Short post as I have tons of ideas swirling in my head right now and I want to make the most of my free time to actually make them into reality. Till next time, friends.

Christmas Felt Stitch & CReate Collection

Hi friends. Today I want to share a few projects featuring Nicole Spohr Felt Stitch & Create collection for Spellbinders.

First up is the Felt Candy Cane set, which I actually used with cardstock and stitched with silver metallic threads.

Just because these sets are designed for felt, doesn't mean you only have to use it with felt. It works just as beautifully with cardstock. I actually love the way it looks like cardstock.

Now, for my next 2 projects I did decide to use felt and use them to decorate my Christmas tree which, yes, it's already up. LOL, the only reason my tree is up was because we finally decided to get new tree when one that I want was on sale and need to make sure all the lights working  before the return window close. So, since we had to unpack it to test the light, might as well put it up and decorate it.

Here comes to Felt Snowman Star.

Hubby love this snowman ornament and asked me to keep it, so yep, am keeping it. Hah! I have to admit, stitching on felt a bit harder than on cardstock. But, nevertheless I love the way this one turned out. I do agree with hubby that this snowman is adorable.

And, last but not least, introducing Felt Gingerbread Boy & Girl.

Now, when working with felt, I can attest that using good, thick quality felt definitely made a huge difference. Here I used the felts from Spellbinders Merino Felt Wool Warm Collection for the body, bow and buttons. This felt is luxurious, thick and simply beautiful. Only after experiencing it first hand that I realized the difference. So, yes, it may cost a bit more, but it made stitching way easier and the result is so much prettier.

Well peeps, that's all I have for today. Hope you enjoy today's post and may your Thanksgiving week be a good one. Cheers...
