Happy Saturday!! Today marks the day of Wee Memories last challenge. Yes, you read it correctly. Jenny has decided to discontinue the challenge. As many of you know, card making is simply a little part of our life and we all have many other things going on. After much thought and consideration, she felt it is best to end our Wee Memories journey.

And, we want to go out with a BANG! :) For this sketch challenge we have 3 sponsors: There She Goes Clear Stamps, The Twinery, and May Arts ribbon.

And, here's my card using the cute ostrich from There She Goes Zoopendous set.

As we're closing this chapter, I hope you will join us on this challenge and help us close it in a big way!! It's been such a pleasure to be on this team and the girls on this DT has become a dear friend to me. I am sure all of us will continue to keep in touch with each other in the blog land.

Wee Memories Holiday

** For Lawnscaping or Some Odd Girl Valentine's Release blog hop please scroll down. **

holiday   Grab Our Badge!

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's time for another Wee Memories challenge. This week our theme is holidays and we are sponsored by Sister Stamps. I fall in love with their stamps from the moment I laid my eyes on  them.

And, this week, it's my turn to do altered art. Since this year I promise myself to add more handmade ornament to our Christmas tree, I decided to create a sweet ornament. It didn't show well on the pic, but the snowman actually has a nice glitter as I trace the snowman outline with Stardust stickles.

Here's how the ornament look on our Christmas tree.

The snowflake/doily pattern was cut using Silhouette. I really love my Silhouette. Hubby asked if I love Silhouette more than I love i-phone. And without any hesitation I said yes, absolutely. Hubby was like, hmm... I think you're the only person who would say that. LOL.

I LOVE my Silhouette. I told hubby,  you know those ads where the girl get so excited when they get a diamond, that's how I was when I got my Silhouette. Yes... Silhouette, you really should pay me as your spoke person since I gush so  much about your machine. ;) And, I still have the old school one. Would like to up-grade to the latest Silhouette Cameo, but I don't think I can do it any time soon. Besides, my current Silhouette is so good to me, I'll keep using it as long as it's working.

Here, I went babbling all over the place. Sorry... Make sure you check out what the girls created for this fun & super easy challenge at Wee Memories. Thank you so much for stopping by  here and have a superb weekend!

Wee Memories Holiday Challenge

Good morning and happy Saturday everyone! It's time for a new Wee Memories challenge and this time our challenge theme is holiday madness. Create any project for any holidays. And our sponsor is one of my favorite company, Lawn Fawn stamps.

At first, I want to make Christmas card. After all I have this Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum set that still in the package, never been used. LOL, the drum reminds me of my younger brother when he was a toddler (he was a super cute toddler) and he loves playing the cowboys & the Indians and that lead me to think of dressing up  the drum. What's the connection, right? I don't know... that's just the way my mind works. :) Anyway... I ended up not making Christmas card. I made Thanksgiving card, instead.

Do you recognize the feathers? Any guess?? Yep, that's from the Lunar Light set. Hmm... for the life of me, I couldn't think what's the English term for it. The string that hang from under the lantern??

Hubby likes this one. :)

I hope you will join us on this challenge. Need more inspiration? Then check out what the DT gals created at Wee Memories blog. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

WMC Halloween Challenge

*** For Operation Julie's Smile please scroll down. To donate, please click on the Paypal button. ***

Happy Saturday everyone! It's  time for new Wee Memories challenge and this week our theme is "Halloween" sponsored by one of my favorite company, Paper Smooches!

Now, we hear it all the time non-traditional Christmas card. Well, I decided to go with non-traditional Halloween card. Nothing scary for me, instead it's the opposite of scary. No mummy, no ghost.

Now, the big part about Halloween is the costume, right? Well... Mr. Squirrel loves the peacock feathers. The fancy feather reminds him of the carnival in Brazil. So, when else can he dressed up and be all fancy smancy (I know "smancy" is not a word, but I like saying fancy smancy)? That's right.... Halloween party! He thinks he looks fabulous in his fancy costume.

Now, Mr. Squirrel is ready to go party and rockin' it with the birdies!! See his big eyes? Yep... he's mesmerize by his reflection on the mirror. He's pretty sure he's the only squirrel with peacock feathers on the block!!

Check out what the DT gals created for this challenge HERE. Hope you will join our fun challenge and I am looking forward to seeing your creations!

SOG Sketch Challenge & Card Drive Update

Oh... how I love Thursday. And to make today even more fun, I have new Some Odd Girl challenge for you. This time it's a sketch challenge.

And, here's my card showcasing one of the cute image from the recent releases, Mistletoe Kaylee, using some fun, bright colors.

Need more inspirations? Go check out what the DT gals created for this challenge HERE.

And, update regarding Caring Hearts Card Drive. Due  to my teaming up, this year it will be called Cards That Care. The goal still the same. For those whose not familiar with it, the goal of the card drive is to collect holiday cards for the elderly who lives in nursing homes. Last year we collect about 700 cards and sure hoping this year will be more.

There's been a bit of delay because my new partner hasn't been feeling too well. But, we're getting all the details finalized and we have some very generous sponsors lined up. In case you already start working on some holiday cards, please consider to make some extra ones for our card drive. Will post all  the details soon. Promise. Thank you so  much and have a blessed day.

Wee Memories & World Card Making Day

Happy Card Making Day, lovely peeps! How are you all doing? Will you be busy making cards today? I know I am. :)

First, let me start with the latest Wee Memories challenge. And, since it's  the first weekend in October it's also our blog hop. If you arrive here from  sweet Stephanie's place, then you're on the right track. And, this month we have a new guest designer joining us, the fab Piali.

This week our challenge theme is to create a project using your favorite technique or style. And we are sponsored by Unity Stamps.

                                            15302_103252609709361_103252399709382_87949_4444396_n

What a fun challenge, right? I sure hope as you get  busy making card for card making day you'll also join our challenge.

Now, my favorite technique. Hmm... let's see. I love coloring with  markers, I love fussy cutting images. Then I love cute & clean style. So, this is what I came up with and this is also my first card for WCMD.

I pretty much got this Penny Black set simply because I adore these birdies. I think they're so adorable. :) And, I know it's hard to see, but the white part of the birdies hats are covered with sparkly flocks, so it's all fuzzy.

Since, I had so much fun playing for this challenge, I decided to make another card. Hey, after all it's WCMD, I should post  more than 1 card, right?

There... 2 cutie cards from me. Hope you like them. Please continue hopping around and I hope you find many inspirations around the blog world today. Thank you for stopping by here and I wish you a super duper wonderful weekend. Hugs.

Mojo Acting Up

Hm... my negotiation with mojo is not going too well. I am trying to bribe it with new stamps, but as you all know mojo not easily bribed sometimes. Sigh... it sure loves to act up when I need it not to. I have datelines and mojo wants to play peek-a-boo.

Anyway, I was down to the very last minute before I managed to finish this card for Wee Memories "Patterned Paper" challenge, which sponsored by the fabulous Echo Park. Cross fingers that my mojo will come back soon. I need it!!

For this card, I used Echo Park hybrid collection that I got from jessicasprague.com

This cute image is from Torico's Birdie Brown store on Etsy. Honestly, I am not super happy with this card. I feel like something is missing or I should do it differently. I don't know. Or am I just being too hard on myself?

Check out the challenge & prize details and the DT fabulous creations at Wee Memories. Have a super duper great Saturday! :)

Wee Memories Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to August Wee Memories blog hop. If you arrive here from sweet STEPHANIE then you're on a right track. I am the last one on the hop list and the hop begins at JENNY.

This week our challenge theme is "masculine card" and we are sponsored by Graphic45. Winner will received Graphic 45 stamp & papers.

Masculine card for me always a challenge. See when it comes to hubby & my brothers I stick with cute or silly. Never super manly card or serious looking one. I came up with this one. Still kind of silly with the googly eyes. I think it looks cute when the eyes get stuck like as if they're looking up, thinking. But try as I might when it's time t take the pic, I couldn't make it back to that position again.

I do love my Silhouette. That li'l machine is just so awesome. Glasses and mustache are from Silhouette. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday. I love all Ali Edward's design and I scored a couple sets from Archivers stamp sale  this past Monday.

You have quite a few blog to hop to, so I keep my post short. Thank you so much for playing with us at Wee Memories and I hope you will join us for this challenge. You have 2 weeks to play. Have a super duper fun weekend!

Wee Memories Dare to Color

Yesterday, I was telling hubby how I've been craving some desserts. I do have sweet tooth. Not necessarily for candy, although I do like sweetarts and chocolate. Howvere, what I am craving right now are good desserts, like cheesecake, tiramisu, strawberry shortcake, and a bunch of Indonesian desserts that I don't have the translation in English.

I've been debating whether I should make some, but then that would means I have to eat most of it myself since hubby not big into sweet. Sigh... so far, I am resisting the temptation.

Speaking about sweet, I received this super sweet image from Kristy at Some Odd Girl and I just had to color it immediately. Which is perfect for the new Wee Memories challenge "Dare to Color" (use at least 4 different colors on your card). For this challenge we are sponsored by Unity Stamps who offered 1 free set of stamp to one lucky winner.

And, what do you know... this cute Baker Tia is holding a cupcake. Lucky for me, I am not into cupcake, surprisingly, so still able to resist temptation.... or maybe not. LOL, we'll see how this weekend goes.

Go, check out the fabulous inspirations from the other DT girls HERE. You have 2 weeks to play and join us. Enjoy your weekend!
