Foxy Birthday

Have you check out the latest Paper Crafts special edition called Birthday Creations?  I am very lucky that I have 3 cards published on this edition and today I want to share my favorite card that I made for this edition.

I had so much fun making this card. Love the heart shaped hot air balloon. The fox is from Paper Smooches Smoocheroos set (available at i {heart} papers ) and I made the heart balloon card using Silhouette. The fun tiny banner is from SP and Company.

Definitely my kind of card, cute mix with cheerful colors. I am saving this card for my niece. Today she turns 7 months old and fingers cross if everything goes well, I can hand deliver this card myself when she turns 1.

Speaking about Birthday Creations, yesterday on Paper Crafts Connection I was so thrilled to see Betsy highlighting my card. Apparently her daughter picked my puppy card as her favorite. Yay... :) That truly made my day.

That's it from me today. Work waiting. :) Thank you for stopping by here and hope you have an awesome Thursday!

A Couple Cards

Quick post to share a couple cards that I made for SP & Company. My mind hasn't really been on blogging lately and to be honest, I am not sure what to write. I guess, you can say I have a writer's block. :)

So, let's just look at the cards, shall we?

The stripe ribbon is from May Arts, my new favorite at the moment. I am loving gray color at the moment.  Am entering this card for Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge. Next, is a card using the flower from the same set as above, called For Every Woman.

And, SP & Company is holding a guest DT call right now. If you're interested to apply, check out all the details HERE.

Sorry for the short post. Hopefully, my writing mojo will come back soon. :)

Friendship

I think having a true friend is a treasure. A true friends that will be there not only during the good time but in bad time as well. Made this card for one of my girlfriend just to show her that I appreciate her. This card was posted on SP& Company blog last week, HERE.

Speaking about friends, I like this poem below. It's a great reminder about people & friendship.

People always come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty,
or to provide you with guidance and support,
to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they just walk away.
Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON,
it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.
They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall,
the season eventually ends.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway);
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

A Couple SP & Company Cards

Happy Friday! As always, I love Thursday. The anticipation of weekend is getting close. :) And, yesterday was definitely a happy Thursday as I received a happy acceptance email for 4 of my cards.

And, I cannot wait for Paper Crafts Stamp It! to come out as I already received the check from that publication, which means the magazine is coming out soon and I have 3 cards in there. This year been a good year.

Am working on several DT projects right now, so for today, I'll share my cards that were posted on SP & Company blog, but haven't been posted here.

This butterfly one was posted last week. I am really loving super clean & simple design lately. The butterfly was cut using Mister Q (Silhouette).

Next is the card that was posted on SP & Company blog yesterday. The sentiment stamp is actually a long one line sentiment and I decided to stamp it part at a time to fit it in the rectangle box.

I am looking forward to this afternoon to take Eli to the dog park. Looks like he found a girlfriend. Her name is Nala. :) Hehe... the other dog owner asked us when we're coming again so the puppies could play. together. So, this afternoon is all about Eli. Good thing we don't spoil Eli. ;)

Catching Up

I had a few projects that were posted on other blogs as part of my DT requirement, but I haven't share them here. So, I figure today I can share those projects here before I forget. :)

First up, is a goody box I made for SP & Company. It was posted on their site HERE last week. Haven't quite decide what I'll use this for. But, it's always useful to have a goody box handy for when I need it.

Then, I have this Hello Kitty card that was shown on PSA Essentials blog post HERE.

This spring break card was shared a while back also on PSA Essentials HERE.

Today, I am taking Eli back to the vet for a follow up check up after his snip-snip. His stitches seems to heal okay, but there's one part where we just don't feel comfortable about and just want to make sure it was okay. So, back to the vet we go.

Currently, I am working on tons of stuff. Magazine submissions (got a happy email last week. So far I have 1 project accepted for Paper Crafts Holiday Card Volume 7, hoping to get more as they should be sending more happy email this week) and working on lots of behind the scene projects for Some Odd Girl for their first catalog and CHA booth.

All I can say is Kristy has designed some of the cutest stamp that I was delighted to get my hands on. When it arrived here yesterday afternoon, I immediately start playing with it (and I mean it literally). The only down fall is I cannot share any of them yet. Trust me, I want to share them so badly. Especially since one of the set involve something that I hold dearly. Hint.. hint... cough... Eli...hmm.... :)

Time to go. Enjoy your Tuesday.

SP & Company Lavender Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to SP & Company blog hop.

I am glad that I get to join SP & Company blog hop this month. Due to my travel schedule before, I wasn't able to join the last couple hop since I am joining the team. This month our color is Lavender (Light Purple)!!! After you're done hopping around today, make sure you play along with this month's Lavender challenge (click here for details) for a chance to win some awesome SP and Company prizes!

Please join us for our Release Celebration that is happening today and tomorrow on the SP Forum HERE.  You can talk to all of the designers, discuss projects and chit chat with other stampers! It's a blast and you don't want to miss out!

Here's my card using the new release Sympathy & Care set.

I simply love the fonts combination of the sentiments on  this set. For my card, I used the Brilliance Twilight ink pad  that has 3 colors in one pad and use two of the colors. In person, this card actually has a nice soft shimmery sheen to it.

I hope you will join us on this fun hop. Don't forget that the random prize patrol is watching so leave a comment on every blog to be eligible for the prizes!! The more blogs you comment on, the better your chances are of winning something fun!

Hey Gill.friend

I just have to share one more of my card that get published in Paper Crafts Practical Solutions, because this one is absolutely  my favorite from all the cards I made for this edition.

I love this yummy stripe twill ribbon from May Arts and I save every scrap of this ribbon. They're too pretty to be thrown away. The way I look at it, every strip counts. :)

So happy that I can make a CAS card using this ribbon fish. I previously made this kind of ribbon fish a couple years ago like you could see on my blog header. I love this one even more, because I think the stripe twill pattern works so much better & makes it more fun compared to when I just used solid ribbon. Don't you agree?

Come back tomorrow for a couple fun blog hops. As always... if there's blog hop, there's giveaway, too. Oh yeah.... did you THIS official announcement? Yep.. I'm officially on board the Lily  Pad Cards crew now. Have a great Thursday everyone!

The challenge is to create a card inspired by this pic and for this challenge we are sponsored by The Stamps of Life. And, I get to play with this fun kite set. In case you don't know, I am very much a color lover. :) So, for my card I took the color and the row for inspiration.

Mustache or No Mustache?

That's the question of the day. :) You likey mustache or no likey?

For me, it depends on the situation. For hubby, I prefer no mustache. I like clean shave face. For card..., well yes of course. It's fun playing with mustache, which seems to be a trend right now.

Here's my latest card using SP & Company mustache stamp from their March release set called "Mustache Madness."

And, what I love about this set, it comes with lots of sentiments that are just so fun  to match with this title. Here's a look at this masculine & fun set.

Check out SP & Company store for more fun & fabulous stamp sets. Short & sweet today. Thank you all for stopping by and have a FAB-ulous Friday.

SP & Company Spring Bunny

Hi everyone! Quick post for today. Hope this goes up as scheduled as I am still in Indonesia. Today, I am heading to Jakarta from Bali to spend a couple weeks with my mom.

I am ready for some down time. With the wedding's done, now I can breathe a bit before heading home to a pile of work. LOL, kind of hard to enjoy a vacation when you know work waiting for you. But, I plan on enjoying my time with my mom.

Today's card is using the February release from Sp& Company called Spring Bunny.

I used to have bunnies and I was born under the rabbit sign, so bunny have a special spot in my heart. :)

For more inspiration using Sp & Company stamp, please check out their blog HERE. Thank you all so much for stopping by here and have a great Friday.

Thanks For Being You

Hello sunshine!! I am back home from CHA. It was quite a trip. So many fab things to see and most importantly and the most fun part of course, meeting up with so many of my online friends. I am working on finishing up my CHA report and will be posting it a bit later today.

Meanwhile, I want to share this card that I made before I left for CHA for Sp & Company. I am using my favorite set called For Every Woman. I love the sentiments and the gorgeous flowers on this set.

The clean look of this card just makes me happy. Lots of white space. :) The strip patterned paper is from Echo Park. Speaking of Echo Park, I am super excited for their upcoming releases. They have some gorgeous paper pad coming!

Am entering this for Moxie Fab Cutting & Trimming challenge, since I did the fussy cut on this card with my trusted Fiskars scissors. The flower was stamped, fussy cut, and adhere to card with pop-dots.

If you're not familiar with Sp & Company, yet you can check out the store HERE and the blog HERE.

That's it for now and I'll be back with tons of pictures! :)

Stitched Together With Love

Hello there. Are you excited that it's Friday?? I am! We have a new little guy who took so much of my time that trying to juggle everything has left me exhausted this past few days. So, I am really looking forward to weekend! Hoping to get some sleeping time. Our little man, Eli, he is a sweetie. He steals everyone's heart with his playfulness & sweetness.

Although, I caught myself crying a couple times still. I can't help missing Nick and Eli sweetness reminds me of Nick. How I miss my big guy. My heart still ache thinking of him. Eli definitely helps us in moving on, but I think it'll be a while before I can stop crying when I think of Nick.

Anyway, let's talk card, shall we. Today, I have this simple and sweet card using SP Stamp Sewing Chic and for the life of me (sorry, lack of sleep), I couldn't remember the brand of the paper. But I know, you could get it at SP & Company shop. :)

In case you didn't know, SP & Company also has a blog where you can find many ideas and inspirations. Check it out HERE

Next, I made a card for my exit from A Day For Daisies. Our term is ending and it's been such a pleasure working with Tammy's sweet, beautiful images. Here's my card using the latest release "Sitting In A Snow Globe".

Thank you all for stopping by and happy Friday!! One more week before I am CHA bound!

Home For The Holidays

Hi there. When I started in stamping, like many stampers I started with Hero Arts stamp. So, I am excited to play with the new Hero Arts Win...
