I cut a panel slightly thinner than t he card base and then I embossed the card panel with Dazzling Dots Embossing Folder. Adhere the panel to card base. Next, I stitched the 3 layers of the seashell shaped cut out and die cut the frame and the sentiment. Once I have all the pieces I arranged them on the card. To finish the card, I die cut some flowers from last year Spellbinders' October Small Die of The Month. And added some enamel drops.

A Couple Thinking of You Cards
Hi all. Happy March. Today I am featuring Spellbinders April Embossing Club Kit. The pattern on this embossing folder is simply gorgeous and I made 2 cards because of it.
For my 1st card, I simply tapped blue and green ink pad on one side of the embossing folder and then run it through the machine. Then I die cut some flowers from Spellbinders' January Large Die Club Kit of the month and add those to the card. For sentiment I used hot foiled sentiment from Everyday Sentiments 2 Hot Foil plate.
Since my first card is so pastel, when I did the 2nd card, I repeat the same step as above, but I inked up the embossing folder twice. Once I ran the embossing folde rtrhough the machine, I gently lift up the folder flap without moving the cardstock and ink up the folder once again as I am hoping this will give me darker color result. I actually had to do this twice as my 1st attempt was a bit messy as I must have moved the cardstock a bit and I ended up with blurry, messy lines.

This time I paired it with an older hot foil set, Blooming Ornament Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die set. which I still love. I am in need of more thinking of you cards, so I stayed with thinking of you sentiment on this card.

Four Petal Scroll
Hi all. I am popping in to share this card made for Spellbinders using their classic Four Petal Scroll Label Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set from the Four Petal Collection.
I started by hot foiling the scroll frame using Copper hot foil roll on a panel of cardstock. Trim the panel slightly smaller than the car base and ink blend some blue ink around the panel. Next, die cut the pierced label frame and hot foil it with the sentiment. I was going to leave it just like that, but then I thought a little butterfly would complete the card better. So, I added the butterfly from Simon Hurley Butterfly Kisses set and finish by adding some sequins.

Four Petal Blooms
As crafter, we find inspiration everywhere and we have a lost of crafter that we love. I have to say that Yana Smakula is probably is one of my top favorite card maker and I often inspired by her. I tend to shy away from dark color, until I saw her cards. She often use dark color cardstock and that really inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and do more card with dark color cardstock. And, I find myself actually loving dark color cardstock, especially when I get to combine it with soft color cardstock. I feel like it really make the color pops while still has a soft look to it, like this card. For the background I used Dazzling Dots Embossing Folder. Then I die cut the flourishes from Four Petal Bloom Reflection Etched Dies twice and went to town creating the layers with various color cardstocks. Assembled all the pieces and finished by hot foiling sentiment from sentiment from More Sentiments Hot Foil set.

Spellbinders February Embossing & Glimmer Kit
For this one, I ink blended various ink on the cardstock before running the panel through the embossing folder. Once that done, I trimmed the panel and adhere it to the card base. Next, I die cut branches and bird using Spellbinders' Sealed Birds Etched Dies. Adhere it to card base and finish by hot foiling sentiment using More Sentiments Hot Foil & Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments set.
I was on a roll, so I finished 2 cards using February Glimmer Club kit. Check out my post on Instagram to see the pretty glimmer on this tulip card.
I simply hot foiled the tulips on a panel of cardstock and keep the design clean and simple by not adding any color at all. Instead I added some cardstock strips for the pop of color. Thanks to my friend Alba, who told me how beautifully Yupo paper take hot foiling. Yep, the same Yupo paper that I used for alcohol ink.
And, yeah, I have so many patterned paper from my scrapbooking day that this is the rare time I used patterned paper. It will take me a long time to really h through those paper. 3 full drawers of them. Well peeps, that's all from me today. Hope you enjoy today's cards and may your day be a wonderful one.
