Wee Memories Simply Sentiments

Good morning peeps! Cross fingers that this post go up as scheduled. As  this post go up, hubby and I would be on our way to the airport. You might wonder about Ollie & Nick, don't worry, a friend of mine is staying at our place to watch them. San Franciso... here we come. :)

Okay, on to this week challenge. This week is also our blog hop time and our challenge is "Simply Sentiment" and we are sponsored by I Love It All. For challenge and prize detail please go to Wee Memories. You should arrive here from sweet Stephanie's blog.

When it comes to sentiment, I think Verve Stamps offer some of the most touching & great sentiments. I love this quote by Mother Teresa and try to live by it. And the design of this sentiment... LOVE it! One of my favorite for sure.

The yummy ribbon is from May Arts. It's from their silky ribbon collection and they're super soft. I love touching them. I'm going to  try to collect them in every colors. :)

I am your last stop for  the hop. In case you miss anyone or want to start from the beginning please go to Jenny.  Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

May Arts

Hi peeps... can you believe it that I actually have 3 post today? This one just to let you know that today is my day at May Arts blog. Would really appreciate it if you check it out and leave me some loves. :) Here's a peek of my card there.

Thanks for peeking in. :)

Christmas Scene

If you're looking for my Lawnscaping {Heart} Kelly blog hop post, please scroll down.

I have 2 post for today. This is my second post to showcase A Day For Daisies new releases. BTW, you can see Tammy's (owner of ADFD) interview & get to know her better on Lily Pad blog post HERE.

With Christmas just a few months away, Tammy come out with some fantastic Christmas images. I was immediately taken by the bird image and this one just remind me of a calm, peaceful winter Christmas scene. I put glitters on the falling snow and on the fence.

The fun thing is this card took me only 5 minutes to complete. This week, I've been running around like chicken without head, so quick card is almost necessary. Basically this past couple of weeks I have completed 6 cards for PSA Essentials, 3 for Lawnscaping, 1 for Wee Memories, 6 for submission (another few in progress), 4 for Some Odd Girl new releases, .... LOL, I am exhausted just thinking about it.

What help is that I love the companies I am designing for, so it always fun. When I come back from vacation, Some Odd Girl new clear stamp release party start right after that and you'll love this new releases! All post scheduled and ready to go for next week. Now time to finish packing and I'll see you when I come back! Hugs.

Lawnscaping {Heart} Kelly Blog Hop

As you know, Lawnscaping challenge was born because of our love for Lawn Fawn stamps. Not only Lawn Fawn stamps are super duper cute, but the owner & founder herself, Kelly Marie is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She's so kind, down to earth and have this smile that could brighten any room.

She's been very supportive of our challenge and we want to thank her and show her how much we {heart} & appreciate her.

If you arrive here from Britta's blog then you are on the right track. I am the last stop for this hop. To start please go to Laurel's blog.

Here's my thank you card for Kelly. Hmm.. didn't plan this, but you see there's 7 critters?? Well, what do you know there's 7 of us on Lawnscaping DT. Hah! :)

Thanks so much for all you do, Kelly!! We love ya!

Here's a complete list for the hop:
Vera Yates -- that's me :)

Oh, I almost forgot. Remember the Lawnscaping guessing game?? Well, did you guess which one was my card? I think there were only 8 people who guessed correctly which card belongs to which DT member. :) Anyway, here's my card. I almost forgot to share this one here.

Okay, I still have some packing to do, cause tomorrow hubby and I will be heading to San Francisco!! So looking forward to this trip. We'll drive down to Monterey & plan to visit the Big Sur, then end our trip in Santa Barbara. Be back in a week and meanwhile I have some posts scheduled and ready to go up while I am gone. Hope you all have a wonderful Friday. Hugs.

Penguin

Hi peeps, good morning! How are you all doing today? Quick post for today. I made this mini card using this cute penguin from Birdie Brown shop by Torico.  She has some of the cutest digital stamps.

I do have a soft spot for penguins. Love watching them. The real one and the animation one. Did you see Happy Feet and did you see how cute those baby penguins? I have that as my screen background for a while because they're so cute. And those smarty pant penguins from the movie Madagaskar, they crack me up. :)

And, in case you didn't see yesterday's post, I have some brand new Penny Black stamps for sale. Simply click on the For Sale tab above. Thanks so much and have a blessed day.

Items For Sale

Hi all, since I got laid off a while back, I've been raking my brain to find ways to support my crafting obsession. My MIL has generously offered to help me started my own shop. I want to offer it online as well, but I am still cautiously testing the water.

I have some Penny Black stuff available for sale and you can find them under the FOR SALE tab.

I want to be able to do this where it helps support my hobby and along the way get you better deals as well. I am thinking to offer pre-order option. Obviously, right now I don't carry many stamps, but you can find a complete line of Penny Black stamps at their site. Write down the stamps that you are interested to order and if I can get enough people who are interested to order, I will place another order mid of September.

For this to work, I will need your commitment though, otherwise I might be stuck with a bunch of stamps. :) If this pre-order works, I will pass on the savings to you. Email me with any question or suggestion. Thanks so much!!

Hugs,
Vera

Lawnscaping Guessing Game

Hi peeps! Just want to let you know that  today Lawnscaping has a fun game for you. You will see a bunch of card made by us the DT and you get to guess which card made by who. This is a fun game to see how well do you know our style. :)

Of course, no game would be complete without a prize. Go check out Lawnscaping blog for details. Some of you say they can spot my card from a mile away. So I want to know, can you spot which one is my card? The game will begin at noon EST. See you there!

Happy Saturday peeps! Are you ready for a new challenge? Cause you know it's time for a new Wee Memories challenge. This week the theme of our challenge is "Back To School" and we are sponsored by Your Next Stamp.

I don't really have school related stamp since I don't have any kids, but luckily I recently got this cute Bookish Tia from Some Odd Girl that is just perfect for this theme.

Challenges:
Totally Papercrafts - back to school
Paper Play - back to school

The DT gals have created some fabulous samples for you, so  make sure you check  them out at Wee Memories blog. This challenge will run for 1 week. From this week on we're back to doing weekly challenge instead of bi-weekly. Hope you will join us and I cannot wait to see what you created!

Enjoy your weekend and for those in the East coast please be safe. Hugs.

Christmas Ornament & A Card

Hi all. Just a quick post to let you know that I have a Christmas ornament & card tutorial up on May Arts blog. Here's a look at the ornament. For the card & the tutorial please check out the post HERE and would so love for you to leave some love over there (and you get a chance to win Our Craft Lounge goodies).

Have a great evening everyone!

Resting My Broom

Hi y'all (can you say it with a Texan's twang?? LOL). Friday means new releases from A Day For Daisies.  This week I picked this sweet girl image called "Resting My Broom" and colored her with Copic and Kuretake ZIG Wink of Stella (glitter pens).

It's hard to capture the glitters, but I basically outline the eyes, nose, mouth area and the pumpkin itself with a yellow Wink of Stella. So, in real life it has nice glitter to kind of reflect the look of the pumpkin being lighted from the inside. The patterned paper is from Bo Bunny.

I wish I could write more, but right now, my brain kind of in a daze mode. Been working so hard on my DT stuff. I completed at least 10 cards this past week just for that (which means, not including the cards I posted here) and I was so intent on being ready, that only after the cards done that I realized I actually have till mid September to finish some of the cards. Now, working on submission cards. :)

Have a great Friday everyone!
