Spellbinders July Club Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to Spellbinders July Club Blog Hop. This month's club kits are full of Christmas cheers and we're excited to have you joining us.

I always love making Christmas cards and all the club kits really help in making it more fun in creating. Here's the card I made for this hop:

I started by using the July 3D Embossing folder as I just love the design on this gorgeous folder. Once the embossing done, I run a brayer on white ink pad and rolled the brayer over the embossed area to make them popped a bit more. I figure it kind of like snow dust.

Next, I die cut some pieces from Spellbinders' July Large Die of The Month Set and adhere it to the card. Finish the card by adding hot foiled sentiment from Mini Christmas Sentiment set. Pretty quick and easy card all in all.

Now, besides all the inspirations, a hop would be more fun with a giveaway, right? Here's the giveaway detail.

The Ton Summer Release

Hi there creative peeps. Today we're celebrating The Ton summer release and I am for one excited for it as they're a good one.

My 1st card is featuring several of the new sets from this release. The Mid Rose StencilMid Rose Coordinating Die, Rose Leaves Stencil, Rose Leaves Coordinating Die, Script Notes set & Script Notes die.

For the rose I used Hollywood Star & Grand Fuchsia and for  the leaves I used Soft Garden & Deep Emerald. When adhering the rose, I actually curved the middle part and used thicker foam adhesive on the middle and thinner foam adhesive on the edge. I feel like this give better dimension to the rose. Finished by adding sentiment & some sequins.

The next card is showcasing Jumbo Rose Stencil.

For this card I used Bright Emerald, Caribbean Turquoise and Periwinkle. Once I finished stenciling in the color, I splatter some blue watercolor ink on the panel. Let dry and adhere to card base. Finished by adding sentiment and some mix size dew drops.

Last but not least, am showcasing Floral Notes Stamp.

I first stamped the sentiment and then using post it note as masking to create the border and fill in the opening with Copic marker. Once I am done with it, I feel like the card need a bit more dimension. So, I stamped the image again, colored it and then fussy cut each letter and adhere it to the card with foam adhesive. Finished by adding some enamel drops.

I hope you enjoy The Ton summer release. The team been working hard to create some inspiration using the new release sets. Please check out what my teammates has created. And, thank you so much for visiting here.

Christmas In July

Hi dear friends. How is it possible that we're already in July? June flew by just like that. Well, with new month, it's time to share the latest Spellbinders' club kits. I have several card to share. Let's start with my favorite from this month, the Spellbinder's June Glimmer Club kit.

I love making shaker card, and this June glimmer set is perfect for it. I did the hot foil and then die cut the opening to create the shaker card. This hot foil set is simply beautiful that I decided to make another card.

For my 3rd card, I am showcasing July 3D Embossing folder.

I  have to say that every time I used the 3D embossing folder, I am amazed by the detail and how impressive they look. On my card, I simply blended some darker green ink to the embossed part for a bit of color gradient and then added some glitter enamel to the dots.

Next, is this fun gnome card using Spellbinders' July Large Die of The Month Set. This card definitely has lots of texture. I added glitter enamel dots as well as glossy accent to make the ornament shiny.

My next card featuring Spellbinders' July Stitching Die Club kit paired with sentiment from Mini Christmas Sentiment set.

Last but not least is my card featuring Spellbinders July Embossing Club Kit. This is my only non Christmas card. Hah.... I just started playing and coloring it and next thing I know I die cut some flower from last year Spellbinders' October Small Die of The Month. I completely forgot about the Christmas theme. Well, the good thing it showed how versatile this set is. You could use it for any occasions.

Phew..., I can't remember the last time I am posting this many cards in 1 post. I hope you enjoy this post and I hope my post inspire you to get creative. Have a happy day, friends.

Glimmer Birthday Cards

Hi all. Am popping in to share a couple birthday cards featuring the new hot foiled sentiments from Spellbinders. First up is this shaker card featuring Glimmering Poppin' Birthday Hot Foil Plate together with the big balloon die from Spellbinder's May Glimmer Club kit.

I enjoy making shaker card, especially a festive one. I also embellish the card with a couple candles from So Many Candles Glimmer Hot Foil Plates. Gotta love it when several sets work together. :)

For my second card I am showcasing Glimmering Hooray Hot Foil Plate. For the background I used So Many Candles Glimmer Hot Foil Plates with Mini Rainbow Hot Foil. With the rainbow colored candles, I don't feel the need to color the candles. Let those rainbow shine!

Time to get back on the craft table. Am really looking forward to get some crafting done this weekend as it is too hot to do any outdoor activity in Houston. Well, you could, I just don't want to. Hah!! Have a wonderful weekend all.

Mandala Blooms

Hi friends. Today I am sharing a couple cards I made using the new release Spellbinders Mandala Blooms 3D Embossing folder. This pattern is so pretty and seriously it doesn't need much to make it stand out. For my 1st card, once I embossed the panel, I ink blended various blue ink on it.

To finish simply added a hot foiled sentiment from More Sentiments Hot Foil. I also used this set for my second card. If you been following my blog for a while you see that I used this set a lot.

For my next card, once I embossed the panel, I colored some of the raised part with Copic marker. Another way to add color to the panel. Here, I paired it with the pretty butterfly from Brilliant Butterflies Etched die.

I have to say the result from 3D embossing folder really is beautiful. You don't even have to color it if you don't want to. Well peeps, that's all I got for today. May your weekend starts off wonderfully.

House Mouse Cards

Hi friends. Today I am back to share some cards featuring sets from the House Mouse collection. Am pretty happy to work with this collection since I do miss playing with critter sets. First up is this Daisy Mouse cutie. Daisies will always have special place in my heart, cause after all it's one of the flower I chose to use in my wedding bouquet.

For the card base I used the largest arch die from Essential Arches Etched Dies set. I cut the base and then a panel with the die where I stamped the image on. Ink blended some green on the bottom, color the image and I added a strip of metallic cardstock to create the look of globe. Finished with some enamel drops and sentiment from Yana's Layered Script Sentiments and stamped sentiment from Many Birthdays set,

On to the next card, featuring Spring Rain set, This one pretty straight forward. I simply stamped and colored the image.

And, last but not least is my 3rd card showcasing this sweet  Bouquet For You set. I followed the design on my 1st card as I really love the arch shape card.

I had lots of fun making these 3 cards as it really been a while since I play with any critter sets. Hope you enjoy today's card and I wish you all a lovely day.

Spellbinders' June Club Kits

Hi friends. Happy month of June. I love June, cause after all it's my birthday month. So, a bit of favoritism there. I just got back from a 10 day trip to Berlin & Barcelona and getting back on the swing of things. With the beginning of a new month, that means it's time to celebrate Spellbinders' monthly kit.

First up is my card showcasing Spellbinders' June Stitching Die Club kit. This seashells set is perfect to make fun, summer birthday card and the stitching add that extra touch.

On this card I used More Sentiments Hot Foil and Yana's Layered Script Sentiments. Finished by adding some rhinestones.

My next card is featuring Spellbinder's June Glimmer Club kit. I really wish I have the Large Die Club kit for June as it would have been perfect for this card (trust me, you want this June Large Die Club Kit). Since I don't have it, I decided to just stick with the pretty, glimmering waves.

Finally, my 3rd and last card am using Spellbinders June Embossing Club Kit.

This is such a gorgeous pattern. I simply blended three different blue shades of ink on the panel before embossing the panel and then blended some more ink as well afterward. For the sentiment I used Be Bold Lowercase & Number Etched Dies set to spell the word hello and finish by adding the sentiment sticker with the word beautiful and butterflies from Dimensional Butterfly Stickers set.

Well, that's all I have for today peeps. Hope you enjoy today's cards and may you find some time get crafty this weekend. Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Blooms

Happy Tuesday all. Am so glad that I get to play with this gorgeous Hello Blooms stencil * die bundle from Spellbinders.

This stencil is all in 1 sheet, so no chance of missing or misplace one of the layer. Once I finish with the stencil I die cut it with the coordinating die. Am keeping it simple and finish it by adding the sentiment.

Now, I actually have a story for this 2nd card. This one created by accident. Hah! When I first did the stencil I forgot to pay attention which side is the right side. Only when I finished coloring that I realized I had flipped the stencil. I re-did the stencil and made the 1st card above. Then, since I hate wasting stuff, I decided to see if somehow I can get a card out of this stenciled piece that I did wrong. I hold the cardstock t o the light and see if I can line up the die cut somehow and luckily I managed to do it and voila, ended up with a second card. Come to think of it, great way to get more out of the supply, right?

Now my 3rd card is using Best Wishes On Your Birthday Hot Foil combined with Spellbinders May Embossing Club Kit.

Finished the card by adding mix size rhinestones to make the card more festive and that's it.  That's all I have for today. I hope you enjoy all the cards. Thank you for stopping by here. Have a blessed day all.

Stitched Kaleidoscope Hexi-Gem

Hi all. It's new release day at Spellbinders and today I have a stitched card to share showcasing one of the new release set, Stitched Kaleidoscope Hexi Gem Etched dies.

What surprise me about this set is the layering dies that came with it, which I thought add a lovely touch. I die cut the pieces and did the stitching. And then layered all the pieces and adhere to card base. For the sentiment I hot foiled a sentiment from Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments set on a piece of black cardstock.

Well peeps, quick and short post for me. May his coming week be a good one for you all.

Country Road

Hi all. It's new release day at Spellbinders and I am excited to showcasing sets from Spellbinders Country Road collection.

I simply die cut all the pieces from colored cardstocks and then added some shading with Copic markers on some of them to add interest. I also ink blended some green to the bottom the card panel and some blue on the top edge. Then arranged all the pieces. Not sure why I think this way, but I really love the cat silhouette. Like it's so perfect to complete this scene,

My 2nd card still featuring Garden Builder Etched Dies and this time I combine it with Country Wheelbarrow Die set.

For this one I hot foiled the sentiment from Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments set and finish by adding some rhinestones.

I hope you enjoy today's cards. Stay tune and I';; be sharing more cards from Spellbinders release.
